The sensation of fingers in his hair feels nice, and the general almost falls asleep while they work on braiding his fluffy silver locks. When they're done and kiss his cheek, his eyes open back up fully so he can look at them and smile.

"Yes I do." He hasn't even seen the braiding yet, but he's already positive he'll like it.

He had been resting, dozing off on the couch in the Seat, but now he lazily opens that singular golden eye to glance over at Eivor during their approach.

It's funny; under normal circumstances, this is where most would find him, but with the recent events he was anything but restful. It's gotten to the point where everyone—Qingzu, Fu Xuan, and even Yanqing—have begun low-key reprimanding him about taking it easy.

He wonders if Eivor is about to add themselves to that list. Not that he minds. It's good to have the affirmation that people do genuinely care about his well-being.

But no. Instead, they sit on the edge of his couch and take his hair in hand, prompting him to let that eye slip back shut as he sighs through his nose in contentment. "A little," he admits, though he's quick to follow it up with more. "But it's alright. It has to hurt if it's to heal."
