A grunt comes from the deepest parts of Chris's stomach, lifting a few 50lb bags of sugar with ease. Our young baker knew a lot of things. How prepare ab fresh batch of bread from scratch. How to decorate a cake for a party. Even how to accommodate the most complicated of orders. But there was one thing he wasn't quite aware of.

How attractive he could be.

He stood at an even 6'0 with a broad shoulders. It wasn't that long ago that was he was a rather lanky pre teen, soon going from a string bean to the thick man you see today. Massive muscles arms with a pair of matching thighs developed from years of lifting any and every heavy thing from the bakery. Though he often wished for a pair of abs, that soft tummy of his drew the eye of many a suitor.

But it wasn't just his thick frame that earned him many suitors. Those big doe eyes hidden behind a pair of round glasses combined with a sweet dorky smile often earned him a crush or two. Helped by his dorky demeanor and helpful attitude.

Once he finished stacking the heavy bags of sugar, the baker took a moment to stretch. Another grunt escaped his lips. Chris began to stretch his arms upwards, causing his shirt to rise a little to give a certain model a peak at the moon shaped piercing that hung from his navel. The baker's head snaps to Serena's direction when he hears the sound of her bumping into the table.

"Are you ok? I'm sorry I meant to move this earlier but I got distracted!" he apologizes as he checks to make sure she's not hurt

It seemed like only yesterday when she was in her basement, getting ready for the party with the Fab Four.

Their deception led to her locking herself in the closet, the wishing dust that had been sprinkled over Chris’s gift spraying over her and transporting her to now.

Now being 17 years later, with her as New York’s highest paid supermodel and him as a baker. She was dating Hollywood’s new It Guy, and he was engaged. She had a luxury penthouse suite in the Upper East Side, and he still lived with his abuela.

But as far as Serena was concerned, she was still 13 years old and living the dream, all while adjusting to the new dynamic she and her best best best best friend had. Because apparently, she had been a right old bitch to her ever since that party.

Serena was also doing her best to be the adult that she wasn’t yet, and seeing Chris’s belly button piercing had distracted her. So much so that she ended up walking right into a table, luckily missing the sharp corner. Still, it was enough for her to have the wind knocked out of her, and she clutched her stomach.

“Uh huh. I just…you…you got your belly button pierced!” she wheezed, pointing at the now-clothed part of his torso. “I thought…we were supposed to wait until college to get ours…”

Serena trailed off and felt over her own shirt to check if she had a piercing, but she didn’t. It made her sadder, and she started to hyperventilate again. Her ‘first day’ at work didn’t go so well as she walked right off the catwalk during rehearsal, and she saw a grown man’s wanger. Serena had hoped that finding Chris would help, but learning more new things about him seemed to be making things worse.

'Kay, so game verse and anime/manga verse are kind of different. Even the game name says "alternative rap battle" instead of division rap battle.

It was another mundane day of your life. Pillows surrounded your figure, as you flipped pages of the manga (online or not, up to you). Your drink of choice nearby you, ready to be drank and yet, you are too preoccupied with a manga that you recently found out about. This past months, you've been listening to drama tracks, the songs and reading the manga. The storyline is quite complicated in the beginning, but the more you read, the more you understand. You felt so many emotions during the reading process. Sadness, anger, happiness, love. You were so hooked on it.

Unbeknownst to you, figures inside the said manga were having an existenal crisis. Nothing really new to Ramuda, but you get me. The days have been going as they used to. Rap battles went well. Nothing seemed out of place except for the strange feeling. The feeling of being watched. No one understood why did they feel this way. It was not a stalker was it? They became paranoid, until they started hearing voices. Who is it..?

Everyone finds out or accepts it later, then the characters I listed.

I think some of them hated you, some didn't mind you, while others ignored you. They thought you would leave after a while, and yet, you stay. Why are you watching them?

For some reason they can somewhat feel what you feel towards them. Perhaps their universe is intune with your emotions? Would...would they all die if you stopped liking them?

Their world seems to constantly change as well. Why? Some days you were watching them, and sometimes talking. Other days you..sang along with them? Tried to help them sing better? Helped them during some battles..? (Game moments)

It certainly took everyone a good while to warm up to you. Some warmed up quicker than others (Dice and Jiro, they thought you were some guardian angel or something. Like- you're helping them fr)

You almost lost Hao because of how intrigued you were with all of the little trinkets, items, and clothes they had! After a good 2 hours in the flea market, you both decided to go back to the mall to relax before going home. ''Do you wanna get some milk tea?" you asked your boyfriend; his eyes lighten upon hearing your questioon, "sure! really craving something cold after all this heat'' Hao replies. You both walked together back to the mall and went to your go-to milk tea shop. "Hello! Welcome to Sereni-tea! What would you like?" the cashier greeted the both of you, "Hi! I'd like a (favorite milk tea flavor)!" you asked, "And I'll get a strawberry flavored one please, thank you!" Hao asked too, "Okay, that'll be $7 dollars, please!" the cashier asked, "Baobei, i'll pay. You already bought a lot of items from the market! I haven't paid anything for you throughout this day!" your sweet boyfriend pleaded, "But you've been busy and stressed over your work this week! I don't want you to worry over me'' you said with a little frown, Hao kissed you on your forehead and said not to worry much because he needed this more than anything. You finally gave up and let him pay and you both got your drinks and decided to roam around the mall once again and you saw the arcade! You immediately run towards it almost leaving your boyfriend behind. "Baobei, wait!" Hao pleaded but it was no use you went inside the arcade and saw all kinds of prizes, claw machines, and games! Once he caught up with you, you asked him if the both of you could try to win some prizes in the claw machine, "Are you sure? the last time we were here, you almost spent $30 dollars trying to win the big bunny plush!" you boyfriend asks you, "of course i am! and for your information, the original price of the bunny was $50 dollars so it was a $20 dollar discount!" you reassured Hao. "Fine, but if you don't win anything don't blame me!" Hao tells you, "Okay, okay! come one let's go!!" you enthusiastically say as you saw a hello kitty plushie and decided to try your best to get it!

"ugh! this stupid plushie won't budge!" You said, tone sounding annoyed. "I told you! But while we're here now, try to win it, okay?" Hao tells you, giving you a kiss on your forehead as a good luck charm.

"NOO!! i was so close! Stupid stupid claw machine!" you said once again, more angry than annoyed than the last time. "Baobei..Why not let me do it? I have good experience with claw machines, you know?" Your boyfriend asks you in order for you to not try to break the machine. "No! I can do this, I am y/n l/n, I will prove to the claw machine gods that I will get hello kitty!" you say with a little chuckle escaping your boyfriend's mouth.

"Baobei, I might need more good luck kisses, This is so rigged!!" You ask your boyfriend to which your boyfriend gives you 5 quick pecks on your cheeks, nose, and forehead as he chuckles a bit more to your cute annoyed expression. "Baobei..Let me try it out! You never know maybe I'll win it for you?'' Hao says to which you said you wanted a few more tries!

"Okay baobei, can you do it for me now? I'm so mad at this rigged ass claw machine!! It's impossible to win!" you asked Hao, "Told ya so baobei, don't worry, your amazing boyfriend will win it for you!" your boyfriend says as you scoffed happily since he's gonna probably win it more than you.

"Yes! Baobei! I got it! I finally won hello kitty!" Hao enthusiastically says, "omg! yes! baobei, how are you so good???'' you say finally happy knowing that Hao got it after about a good 10 minutes after your failed attempts in the arcade. "I told you I'd win it for you!" your boyfriend says giving you a kiss on the lips and giving you the toy after. You quickly kissed him back and gave him a hug as a thank you gift for winning you the plushie and for one of the best days ever! The both of you went home afterwards and the first thing you did once you both got there was put the hello kitty toy besides the big bunny toy you won the last time you were at the arcade. You 'won' hello kitty after all after spending more than $20 and that's the most important thing, right?

God-Modding. I write my muse, you write yours, and if in doubt, ask. Please don’t decide for me what she does, thinks or feels (or did before the events of the thread), that your muse has done something major to her, or put her in a certain situation, without running it past me first. Also, ignoring what I’ve just written and continuing as if Thera never said or did something counts as god-modding, too.

Verses are separate unless it's been discussed OOC beforehand. Please don't shoehorn Thera into your own existing group verse without talking about it with me first.

Meta-gaming is giving your muse OOC knowledge IC. There are muses out there powerful enough that they could know things, but please talk to me about it first. Your muse suddenly knowing all about Thera for no IC reason and without asking me is not going to work out.

On those last two points, I also reserve the right to say no.

i was once writing a kny rp in which i totally lost my mind; so i live in poland, right? and me and my friends transformed bucci gang into a pathological polish family (i know it's about kny, but wait) and abbacchio was a king of the district and just a hobo in general. so i took him and just rammed him into demon slayer's universe and he was like... an alcoholic demon sage who helped the entire gang defeat astro-people, who were mostly based on teachers at my school and a few problematic people. you know, just for giggles. abbacchio's (we were calling him "boadicea" back then) power was to create an alcohol barrier and everything was just like... what the frick's happening

okay. this is a post about a new character, who is a person in the same 'verse as the main one for Robert and Isabelle, sci-fi and spaceships. she is a pastor in the one specific "limits on technology" religion I made up, but also, she is very cool. she does not live on their main terraformed colony, she lives in another colony with some definite cultural differences.

I am mostly posting this for my own future reference. there are definitely people who will enjoy Gwendolyn a lot, even with the extensive trigger tag situation here, but I think "a short story that has space for more nuance" would be a better venue for her than "my thoughts from Skype at 4AM"

but as I understand it now, there are, like , degrees of Intensity in Church Of Man

like, even their chillest followers are kind of intense about it because it's hard to be real, real chill about "god said we were only allowed to use these specific fifteen technologies" or whatever the exact rules are

but as far as incubators go, Aimee's community, the one you saw, would definitely have been like "well, too bad God wants that baby to die" and there are some other communities which would be more like "okay, probably make sure your baby does not die, do what you've gotta do there, but don't come back and talk to us afterwards"

and also for sure there are communities like "do literally whatever you have to do to make sure your baby does not die, we will be here with whole-made casseroles when you're home again"

and like, could some of those kids have benefitted from subsequent quality-of-life stuff they didn't get? probably, yes

to varying degrees

but hopefully Aimee finds a nice community where she can be like "this is so important to me but my babies and I experienced a bunch of technology in order to not die and we got excommunicated."

I feel like the Tau Ceti Church of Man community is small and some people think they're weird, but they're nice neighbors. their pastor is a woman named Gwendolyn or something who is just constantly mad about Richard Brinton That Fucking Asshole

she has never called him any of those words because of decorum, she has just spent a lot of time talking to new people like "wow you seem very traumatized did you know he is not the boss of us?"

"we don't have a pope!"

"we've tried to have a council a few times, but it's logistically complicated"

"every church is supposed to make its own rules in accordance with the texts"

"yes, I have read every single one of his missives to the world, I know which bits of the Texts you probably have memorized, here are some bits I like a lot"

Gwendolyn has some opinions

like, churches are supposed to set their own rules about "necessary" technologies and she has quietly labeled almost all life-saving medical technology "necessary"

meanwhile, Brinton thinks it's necessary for him to have access to telecommunications equipment to he can send his editorials all over the galaxy, so people can be Educated

of course, he does not actually physically touch the telecommunications equipment, he keeps like four people who know how to use it around so they can spread his word, but also, huh

the thing about Gwendolyn is that she has spent a long time watching traumatized New Marylanders join her community, many of them quite young and quite traumatized

also, she was never a New Marylander, she is fourth-generation Tau Ceti, which, crucially

means that her first set of principles is "Church Stuff, Misc" and her second set of principles, right there after the first is "you're not the boss of me"

even if somebody could point to actual scripture that said they were the boss of her, she would have some trouble with it, but some dude! who cannot point to anything at all! no justification whatsoever! nothing in the texts even a little bit! keeps trying to be the boss of her! and also keeps traumatizing all of the people in his community pretty badly! and making everyone else look like jerks!

Gwendolyn votes in every local election and votes for her Senator, who she has met and quite likes. she occasionally goes to protests when the local government does some dipshit thing, but the Tau Ceti local government is pretty well-behaved because if it's not the citizenry will absolutely be like "fuck you, you're not the boss of me" at its government

she has some Very Big Opinions about debtor employment. she's not thrilled about the like, severity of the gang situation in her city, but she doesn't have a lot of optimism that the Government is gonna fix it, so she does community groups instead

also, in recognition of the fact that she can't just throw these traumatized New Marylanders right off into the personal autonomy deep end she is like "okay, if you need someone to tell you what to do sometimes, I will be the temporary boss of you until you are ready to be the boss of you"

she does not Love that aspect of her job, but sometimes you gotta

you can't bring people from "obedience all the time" to "you must make every choice in your life with no backup" overnight, they'll just collapse in on themselves or become targets for worse people

so she does the thing

she and Brinton have a <very> passive aggressive correspondence going as church leaders

there are many many long letters back and forth

they are very polite and also, if any of them are preserved, historians will find them fascinating

they are basically "our community is like 55% traumatized exiles from other communities and like 30% traumatized people from This One Dude's Community specifically. he traumatizes women and girls and girls he calls women and gay people and parents with sick babies!"

1. describe how you first started writing and when you first posted

started in eighth grade after moving which fucked me up (i’m still to recover lmao) n i needed a distraction, reading had always helped but writing is what let me see what the root of my agony was. (im not trying to be pretentious i swear) i first started on wattpad (love hate relationship to this day) and beginning of lockdown this year gravitated to ao3 which has been my saving grace !!!

2. which of your characters do you typically resonate most closely with? do you base any characters off of yourself?

so far i’ve mostly written in louis’ pov. i’ve had to ask this question in the early stages — i resonate the closest to harry. most of my wips are harry centric for that reason. i mean, yes and no — i tend to take some part of me and fit it into the character but at the same time i don’t like seeing me on a page so yes and no.

3. where do you often find inspiration?

EVERYWHERE. mostly others’ stories be it in the way of songs, music, writing, art. usually it’s me coming across a vaguely aesthetic picture and my brain spitting out one or two random scenes and me trying to make that a story.

4. has quarantine helped or hindered your writing process?

both !!! i have new wips but also i lost a lot of motivation to do anything for a bit. school is sucking the soul out of me — it’s both easier and harder with it being online, the worst part is i can never truly feel like i’m getting a break from it. recently it’s been easier for me bc of the friends i made (ily all) it’s hindered a little bit bc i can’t go out and watch people and streetlights and the blur of cars and try to pour out that feeling into words and create something. at the same time it’s helped me gain more perspective on people and relationships which has been a massive help to writing in general.

5. do you listen to music/noise while you write or do you prefer silence?

depending on the number of classes i have/attend, my mental stability, the story and my sensitivity. i often can’t stand loud noises so there’s that but there is always some noise or the other so it’s never truly silent. i like it that way. sometimes i just play intense studying playlist on spotify and write, Lucida by Odin Sørlie and Haunted Heart by Dawn, Dawn, Dawn are my favourites.

6. what is your biggest writing pet peeve in your writing or in general?

excessive usage of the same word in mine. in general, i’m not a fan of stereotypical characters or romanticising harmful themes.

7. describe your ideal writing setup

2 am, in bed, music still ringing in my ears, three texts from my best friend about a story or about their day. under the blanket, the room smelling of chocolate or something sweet.

8. favorite time of day to write?

anytime but afternoon. those hours are for naps.

9. favorite genre to write + one you’d like to try writing in the future?

fiction? i’d love to write a fantasy au 👀

10. do you struggle with writer’s block? how do you typically overcome it?

yep yep. i just edit an old story or read my old works or other writers’ fics. i gave up trying to force myself into writing — i hated the end product and felt bad so.

11. what is the easiest part of your writing process and the most difficult?

probably the emotions? dialogue without a doubt — i dread writing it. it doesn’t come to me naturally. i can write lengths without dialogue tbh. also smut — it’s an eh eh aspect.

my wonderful friends. they do dumb shit and i want to tell the world about their dumb shit so i make characters out of them.

13. what is your favorite and least favorite word?

as of now it is fucker — delightful word that one. least favourite is probably squelch — just no.

the dreamy feeling i manage to write without a doubt !!!! dialogue and pacing. i don’t have the best dialogue or the pacing or the length for fics but i’m working on all of those !!

still a wip so i can’t tell you much except that it’s a proper treat. will write this once i’ve posted that fic !!

*nervous laughter* the font changes from fic to fic — crush is comic sans, size 11. October was Lora, 11. Twisted in bedsheets is courier new, 11. stargazing is spectral, 11. so yeah — whatever the fic demands. single spaced !!!! except when i’m overwhelmed i do double spaces.

17. what is a typo(s) you find yourself making consistently?

I Cannot Type. if you think i can — congratulations you were fooled. autocorrect is the loml.

of course !!!! i basically do not exist out of my writing.

pain, pining, longing. lust.

we’re all fucked up but we’re trying and trying sometimes is enough. you shouldn’t spend your life carved out around one person. it’s okay to ask for help and need a shoulder to lean on. i hope these come across in my future fics !!!!

a new fic. will update the answer once that fic is out !!!!!

if it’s constructive then well. no thick skin tbh. makes me feel as if i need validation from someone else on my art which isn’t necessary but my brain is wired to seek it and it’s a hassle.

write everything you would want to read. write it bad, don’t worry about the quality. don’t worry about the audience. end of the day, it should be something you can turn to for comfort not something that makes you feel bad.

people telling me they like my writing and it could take them out of this world for a few minutes !!!!!

1. describe how you first started writing and when you first posted: 

I got so into the 1D fandom that I opened a tumblr account and found loads of fics about Harry and Louis. I got hooked. I go way back as a fan. am one of those who started reading fics from tumblr accounts and livejournals. I know a lot still read from those until now, even me, until ao3 became the basis of fics. I read so many fics that i wanted to write my own as well. my first ever fic, officially, was an apocalypse/zombie au called Nothing Can Come Between You and I. I say officially because I posted a couple of fics before this one but they were edited fics from a writer who took down his/her fics for reasons I don’t wanna get into. I asked permission to post them and edit them. That’s when I started joining up as a beta as well :D

2. which of your characters do you typically resonate most closely with? do you base any characters off of yourself?

I typically write in Louis’ narrative but I don’t usually base it on any perceptions I have of him, even if it’s canon. most of my fics are inspired by circumstances I see around me in my day to day life or by events that one can relate to because they do happen.

3. where do you often find inspiration?

I read a lot of fics as I’ve mentioned before and each and every one of them has left an impact on me that made me the fic writer I am today. Whenever I lack inspiration, I just open my bookmarks on ao3 and read. And then, a bulb lights up and voila, inspiration hits

4. has quarantine helped or hindered your writing process?

helped a lot! i wrote more during quarantine than I do now even though am somewhat working from home. but when corona was at its peak back in March, everything was on hold and I turned to writing.

5. do you listen to music/noise while you write or do you prefer silence? 

silence. Am sadly not one of those people who could write in a corner in a cafe even though I wish I could do something like that.

6. what is your biggest writing pet peeve in your writing or in general?

word vomit. not into that.

7. describe your ideal writing setup: 

after midnight, laptop on a cushion on my lap, neck pillow for my neck, my bed, and a quiet house where everyone is already sleeping and my mind is brimming, racing faster than my fingers could type hahahaah

8. favorite time of day to write?: 

after midnight. it mostly has to do with the fact that I am not available during the day but even before when I wasn’t working, i would find myself procrastinating all day or totally lacking inspiration and then come night time, and my mind comes alive hahahaha

9. favorite genre to write + one you’d like to try writing in the future?

10. do you struggle with writer’s block? 

I mean, who doesn’t, right?

11. what is the easiest part of your writing process and the most difficult? 

easiest is after I’ve day-dreamed the scene because when I day dream, its detailed to the tee, down to the words and the dialogue but the most difficult is when I postpone an idea I had in my head. If I don’t write it down instantly, it never turns out the same and that’s quite frustrating

12. how do you come up with original characters? (

I do insert a lot of original characters in my fics and they are sometimes inspired my real people but only in terms of appearance not by character or name. so, if am describing an original character in any of my fics, know that he exists but his character is not the same in real life hahahaha

13. what is your favorite and least favorite word? f

wow, this is random. um. fav would be scars and least would be veggies

14. what is one thing about your writing that you’re really proud of and one thing you hope to continue working at?

I don’t think it was something I was proud of at first but a lot of people who comment on my fics say that they like my pacing and the dialogues. so maybe that? I would say I think I need to work more on my originality. sometimes, i find myself drifting to a fic I’ve just read, especially if its the same trope and am like, wow, that’s not mine at all.

15. what work of yours has your favorite ‘verse/world building? how did you come up with it?

definitely my first abo fic Hang there like fruit, my soul/Till the tree die. I love that au and I’ve always wanted to put my own tiny twist in it. am really proud of how it came about and am massively humbled by the comments and support it received :D

16. what font and size do you write in? single spaced or double?

arial, font 18 and sometimes bigger because I don’t have good eyesight

17. what is a typo(s) you find yourself making consistently?:

names, because sometimes the names I choose are apprarently just not cool with microsoft word for some reason....sighs

yes, but its not intentional, it just happens

best advice is to sleep on it because I do come up with scenes for my fics when I am about to sleep ahahahah. the worse one I got came from someone who obviously doesn’t know a thing about writing. he said, ‘’just don’t write it and do something else.’’ I mean, really?

22. which one of your works would you most want to see turned into a film/television show?

nope, not happening.

most of the time in order.

quite well I think. 

 25. what is the advice you would give to someone who is looking to start writing?

Go for it. Writing is not a silly hobby. if it’s really something you wanna do, even if its just for fun or to pass the time or to make new friends. go for it, There are so many fics in this fandom that until this day, are still ingrained in my mind because they were so touching and moving to me. you never know what your words could do for someone or how much your words could make a person’s day a better day 

26. what kind of feedback on your work always makes your day?

the comments posted on my fics in ao3 always make me happy. I feel like its the best to find out if my work is worth someone’s time, you know? even though I do write for myself most of the time, the validation is nice sometimes :D

27. which fic ‘verse of your own would you most like to exist in? which fic’s characters would you most like to befriend? 

wow, all of them? 

28. what do you always enjoy getting asks about/wish people would ask about more?

hmm, I mean people could ask what they want so am cool with anything. am not picky. I get asked about plot lines or what would happen next when it comes to cliffhangers and I do my best to answer them without revealing too much :D

I definitely made new friends through it and it’s been great :D

30. why do you write?

it’s my favourite thing in my entire life. It’s the one thing that no one in my life knows about, as in the people that I work with, my friends, even my family, none of them have ever read anything I’ve ever written and am fine with it. I feel like writing is purely for me and it’s something I’d like to keep as a part of me you know?

Harry hums before he pushes himself forward. He cannot stop it, cannot keep himself from gravitating towards Louis, taking what he wants, what he needs to make it through the night. He cups Louis’ face and kisses him but even then it’s not enough and he skates one arm around Louis’ small shoulders and tugs him closer, careful not to jostle Louis too much and kisses him like Louis’ a mermaid and he needs his air or else he’ll drown.

It eases an ache in him he didn’t know was trying to get his attention the moment he entered the room, something deep and visceral, calming down with the way Louis’ molds his lips against his, with the shape of his mouth fitting with his own, with the way his body is trying to align with his, like a constellation, each star coming together to mean something greater than they can ever grasp, something more infinite and vast.

‘’I love you,’’ Louis whispers into his lips.

‘’I’m never letting you go,’’ Harry says before he reaches for another kiss. ‘’Love of my life, fucking best thing to ever happen to me, you know that?’’

if anyone’s curious, here’s my very lengthy and disorganized notes + scriptures on the bible and polyamory. (i didnt include any specific references to biblical polyam relationships, just because everyone knows everyone was polyam and i dont feel the need to source that. this is mostly focusing on The Law. and polyam’s status as a “sin.”)

my conclusion: 1) “marriage” in the bible is defined by man + God, not the state. it’s just being in a committed relationship with someone (and doing sexytimes). 2) the bible describes polyamorous relationships as “marriage,” even the ones it’s condemning for being incest or w/e. 3) therefor, polyamory can NOT be judged differently than monoamory on grounds of adultery or fornication, and while there is greater discussion to be had about these things (i dont think they are sins either), it’s bigoted to presume those topics are somehow inherent to polyam and not just relevant to all sexual relationships. there is NO biblical evidence that polyamorous “marriage” should be treated any different than monoamorous “marriage.”

there’s a lot in here worth talking about in regards to queer relationships and the questionable universal applicability of paul’s letters, but a)sin is specifically alluded to as “not beneficial” (which means stfu “oh it was accepted back then but we know better now.” if ur gonna consider it sinful WITHOUT scripture backing u up you better have a damn good reason.) and b) “one flesh” is used just to refer to the act of sex. so if we’re defining marriage with the genisis passage, all it is is leaving your family, living with someone, and having sex with them. no pastor or county judge required.

only ONE thing is referred to as “adultery” in this list, sleeping with another man’s wife. not marrying a mother and her daughter, not marrying your brother’s wife. those are listed as completely different crimes. adultery isn’t marriage, by definition. but having multiple spouses still counts as marriage. God just says dont be fucking gross about it.
 also. i saw some arguments like “they were just poly cause it was cultural osmosis, not cause it was holy, but verse 22 clearly says these laws are NOT the laws of the land. the people of God were to keep away from incest and adultery, but NOT polyam. inch resting.

The key component of the adultery metaphor here is deceit. The passage is even titled “the lying prophets.” there’s no evidence that consensual, non-deceitful polyamory is even remotely similar to what constitutes “adultery.”

it’s literally always “another man’s wife.” not “anyone but your one and only wife.” a prostitute isn’t even “adultery,” which is p sus and gross tbh but not really the point at this exact moment. find me a single passage in the bible that condemns adultery as anything other than having sex with someone whose partner is unaware.

Alphabiographies

N for notes is another word I chose off my list. I chose this word because a note is one of the best things you can receive. It can be mental or physical taken notes. Taking notes is a healthy literature practice.  Just by taking notes, it helps you remember better. Notes can be short and simple, as long as you understand what you are writing down.  The more you take notes helps refresh the brain, so you won’t second guess yourself or even forget something.  Notes are kind of like clue finders or helpers. It can even be like a review tool.

Q for quotes is one of the words I chose off my list. I chose this word because you can find them anywhere. Quotes are meaningful to me when it's a reason behind it. Quotes are healthy literacy because you can see them, and some quotes give motivation. It's crazy when you can see a quote and it relates to your problem or situation. I feel if you see a quote it's meant for you. Some people overlook quotes when it really means something. Just by reading a quote a day helps you because you're reading and using clues in a way. 

L is for lyrics. Reading lyrics is a healthy practice for literature. It actually helps you read better. I chose lyrics because a lot of people don't like to read but can listen and sang music all day. So if you take just a couple minutes out of your day to read a couple lyrics, it can improve the flow of how your read. It helps with not boring you while you read but really understanding what you're listening and singing about. It's a really weird interesting way of healthy literacy but it helps me out because I like music.

K is for knowledge. I chose this word because without knowledge I wouldn’t be where I am today. Knowledge is awareness or understanding something such as facts, information, and skills a person has experienced. Building your knowledge is a healthy practice for literature. Just by experiencing new words and ways of writing can build your knowledge. Knowledge can refer to a practical understanding of a subject. Just like notes the more you take them, the better you know the information. Therefore, knowledge the more you practice the better you build on it.

 O stands for online work! In this case, this could be a good or bad case for some people. Online work is good because you can do it online and don't have to worry about pencils, papers, or pens. Also you don't have to travel that much when you got online classes to do your work. It can be a bad case to, some people don't have access to computers to do work online. Doing work online helps me stay organized and on top of my game. I don't haft to be around everyone to do my work, I can do my work anywhere and anytime.

U stands for underline. I chose this word because underlining is a healthy way of practicing literature. Just by underlining certain words and sentences can help out a lot. Some people underline sentences and words they don't understand. Underlining helps me out by taking the underline sentence or word more serious. I'll rather know what I am reading instead of just reading over it. Even if you forget a word or sentence, if you underline it you can go back and review over it. Underlining key words and important things will help you stay organized by the way. It's basically like highlighted words. 

 T stands for text messages. One of the biggest problems in the world nowadays is a phone . Some people think that a phone gets to much attention and not having enough time for a book. Well I think receiving text messages can be healthy in some ways because you're actually reading and replying. It's something that you want to read so you're more focus than ever. You also have to reply, so that plays a big role in reading and writing. Most of the time you receive text messages thru the day so therefore you constantly reading through the day. 

B stands for brainstorm, this is a tool for healthy literature. Brainstorming is a way you can generate your ideas within your group setting. When brainstorming you should think freely and have many ideas. Brainstorming can be done in a group, this also makes it funnier to have everyone's opinion and ideas. This tool is usually done in the beginning stages of a project when someone don't quite understands what's really going on. I been using this tool since I got introduce to it. Brainstorming helped me out doing my previous years in school, hopefully this tool will be a success in college. 

J stands for Junie B. Jones.  When I first read this book, I was in the third grade. The book captured my interest when I first read it in Mrs. Jones class. The whole class took turns reading out loud which made it fun to read. Junie B. Jones books became my favorite books to read. I think if every child read this book it would make them want to read more because it is for kids and really interesting. 

R is for review. Reviewing is a practice for healthy literacy. The more you review your assignments or whatever you need to know makes you more confident with your answer. I use to review my Spanish words for 20 to 30 minutes a day before the quiz. Just by doing this it showed me how important this strategy was. If you don't quite get the understanding of something reviewing will be the best thing to do. 

P is for phone. Once I got my first phone I would say it effected me in a bad way but also a good way. Well for one it helped me by learning how to spell words that I had problems with. I can pull up anything on safari or download a book app to read books on the phone. It also effected me in a bad way. I got to the point where I ain't want to do anything but be on my phone either texting or watching highlights. It helped me with spelling but also hurt me in a way because I ain't to have to do anything but click on the word I was trying to spell. 

D stands for Dr. Seus. My first time reading the Dr. Seus books played a major role in why I find it interesting to read. I think I was in Kindergarten when I first read it. The book was easy to read so I read more of them. I continued reading those books until my vocabulary grew and I heard about new books. As time pasted on, playing football became apart of my schedule and I became so busy perfecting my craft. I then found reading tiring and boring. Most teachers use to assign books to read that was very boring and not something that I was interested in.

A stands for alphabet. Well you should know if it wasn't for the alphabet this world would be so backwards. This is the first thing that you actually learn once you get in school. Even before kindergarten kids are learning their ABC's. All the letters make up words with different sounds and pronunciation. I think the alphabet get over looked because it's just a lot of letters. I use to think like this but my professor opened my eyes with this assignments that we're doing now. I don't think the alphabet can harm or effect you in a bad way.   

C stands for Childers. Well Mr. Childers was my 11th grade English teacher. I can actually say that this guy made english kind of fun and funny. I remember when the class would be talking to loud, he would always say “Guys, cut the chatter”. He taught the class in a different way. He made reading and writing so much easier. and built my confidence on reading out loud. What kind of hurt me was when I stopped participating in class and started sleeping everyday. The books that we was reading was kind of boring to me.He wasn’t the teacher to wake you up, he went on with the class. So the more boring books we read, the less reading I did. 

W is for writing. Writing played one of the biggest roles in my life, good and bad. I started taking my writing more serious once I got old enough to understand the correct way to speak. Writing papers, discussions, and other assignments that involved school helped me out because my teachers would correct something that was wrong. It opened my mind up to new ways of how to say new words and how to use them in different ways. I use to write a lot once I got to high school and now that I'm in college writing is more frustrating. I don't like it as much as I use to. 

V stands for verses. I read verses from time to time for faith and words of encouragement. One of my favorites verses is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” I actually got that verse tattooed on my forearm. Just by reading those verses, I taught myself how to read with a better flow. I wasn’t never into reading books unless I picked it myself. Reading a quote a day can help by building knowledge and help out with reading period. 

M is for music. Music played a big role for me practicing my literature. It's kind of crazy to say but it helped me out a lot. I remember when I first started doing this. I use to read the lyrics and flow with the music. It made reading way more interesting for me. When it came time to read in class, I had a perfect flow of reading and was never nervous. Most people can try this exercise but I don't know if it would help them like it did me. The reason why I say this because people don't read the lyrics, they just leave the song on repeat and learn it like that. Also just by reading the lyrics you figure out the true meaning of the song. 

H is for homework. When I was young I use to love to do homework but as I got older that feeling left away. Doing homework helped me out because it was basically extra practice. My grades stayed up just by being discipline to my work. I started getting older and sports became involved in my life, that's when my grades start slipping. I stop doing homework at night and started doing it at the last minute. What made me stop liking homework was when I didn't know any of it and the teacher assigned to much of it. I stated all that just to say stay on top of your work.

"F" stands for father. My whole life, my father pushed me to be great at what I do. It wasn't just on the field but that went for the classrooms to. He always told me to get my school work did first before anything. So there was this  boring summer, If my friends wasn't around I would just do old school work or either read books that my grandma had put up around the house. Just hearing my father telling me to be great at everything I do, motivated me to write more and learn how to read better. Once I got a little older and started getting better at ball, he started slacking on seeing was I still grinding the way I did in the classrooms. 

"I" stands for internet. Having internet is one of best thing a person can ask for. Internet been helping me since I learn how to use it, but I had to realize I couldn't rely on the internet for everything. Anything I had a question about or wasn't quite sure what a question was asking, I would just search it. It's so many different answer and opinions on the internet, therefore when looking for some you should know something about what you searching. The internet also can hurt you in a bad way. Searching information and plagiarizing can be one of the worst thing you can do. 

G stands for good grades! I remember when my dad told me, “ You earn good grades it’ll take you a long way.” If you had good grades in my household you would get rewarded for hard work. This made the house grind extra hard in the classrooms. “How they get a new phone and I didn’t”, my baby sister said. She had brought a bad grade home so she didn’t get rewarded. My parents stop doing this method as I grew up. Even though they wasn’t rewarding us like they use to, I continued to bring good grades home just because. 

E stands for email. I always use to make accounts but never use it. To sign up for a social media pages, you had to have a email. I use to make all these accounts and never checked my email. I started checking my email my senior year of high school. Checking my email keeps me updated on a lot of things. It basically like the message app on a phone. Getting a email isn't hard to set up. Letting all the information pile up is kind of bad because you will just have random junk on top of each other.

S is for silent reading. I like reading silent because you don't get judged on how you read. I use to feel that you learn or understand what you reading better when you read it to yourself. As I got older that mindset approached a little differently. Once I got to high school, we didn't have a choice but to read out loud. When I would mess up on a word my classmates or teacher would help me pronounce the word the right way. Usually I would skip over the word when I was silent read

Y is for yellow. Yellow is a color to many people won't miss. I chose this word because this is the most common color you see words highlighted in. The words was black so therefore you still can see whatever was written or typed. Whatever was highlighted in yellow, I knew it had to be important. It may be bad for some people because yellow might be a color they can't see. They got other colors you can highlight information in but yellow was the one stood out for me. This a color I will forever use because this was the first color I ever used to highlight something.
