Ajdbbssksjhskshd stupid background check company contacted me for evidence of my employment at my last employer, provided insufficient explanation of what they wanted as evidence and no way for me to follow up and ask for more detail, I threw some paystubs and w2s their way and they just didn't respond and I've been sitting here for a week petrified that they couldn't verify my employment there and I would get rejected for the security job I want but no. Turns out they finished my background check the next day and the paystubs and w2s were fine, it's just that when I opted in for an emailed copy of my background check once they were done what they took that to mean was that I could log into their portal and download it from there. They didn't email me to notify me that it was ready or anything. I just had to guess. Even though they specifically offered me an emailed copy. And I specifically opted into their offer of an emailed copy
