i've been wanting to get an ipad for probably >a year maybe even 2 at this point and i keep seeing digital art and thinking seeeeee if i had an ipad *I* could do digital art! buddy you have coloured pencils and a sketchbook right there if you were gonna draw surely you could do that? <3

#we have ipad at home! (ipad at home is crayons. really nice ones!).#for real though my main thing i've wanted to do for *ages* is digital collage pieces with my own photography with #traced illustrated elements too. and i'm also borrowing my mum's ipad too to hopefully do a notebook design but it's too old to #support apple pencil so i'm gonna go about it by drawing out the stuff on paper. scanning it. making the white parts uhhh transparent.#then compiling the layouts on layers. <- hypothetical process i've been rotating in my mind for weeks and hoping it's possible to do.#BUT everything would be so much easier with apple pencil i think.#it is all so clear in my mind! just such an investment :P and what if i hated it :P #(killer typos in the original post including myabe <- nice to say)
