A STAR WITHOUT LIGHT.... hum hum hum a secret for that one is. a significant part of the interactions between all the stars and kdj were just Not Planned. usually I plan the plot and then start writing but all I had was "kdj helps these people and that's why they help him back". the uriel+abfd interaction gave me a headache for ages because I couldn't figure out how kdj would be able to help them and then I was just like Fuck it I'm mad rn so they're mad at each other too. Die in hell (and like. it worked. so.)

another fun fact is that I was like all the way at king of stars confrontation and I wrote the thing about kdj arriving a year after he first entered the realm and then I froze and was like. wait. HAS it been a year???? and then of course I had to go all the way back and edit each star's instructions to mke sure the timeline added up, and also the map, which I belatedly realized had kdj going ways in which he should ABSOLUTELY have gone back over his own path and met stars he'd already met,
