Parish Girl's Progress  - Scout has grown up in a Limsan Orphanage, sent from school to school to teacher to try and harness her aetherical abilities. She was always sent back, cited for her awful behavior and lack of respect. As a young teenager, there was one mentor she seemed fond of, possibly the first teacher to recognize her true potential. Other circumstances led him away, however, and the sense of abandonment was devastating to the orphan. Upon turning 18, she was cut off from the Orphanage and left to find her way in the world with no social skills and no friends. Its possible you may have been in the same orphanage, or perhaps were a classmate as she was shuffled from school to school for misbehavior.

She’s absolutely mad - Scout recently left employment in a Limsan household. She ran out screaming in the dead of night, insisting the noble lady of the house was trying to kill her. When questioned by the yellowjackets, the Lady cited the orphan’s emotionally and mentally troubled history, but pressed no charges. The accusation was dismissed and the girl’s credibility was shattered. No one wanted to hire her, for fear she would falsely accuse them as well. You may have heard of the stink she rose about a witch trying to kill her, and have your own opinion on the story.

Drink up, me hearties, yo-ho! - Having recently aligned herself with Captain Ricard Smith, scout has found camaraderie in his crew. In a place where reputations are meaningless, she finds it easier to open up. Though she is young and socially awkward, the young Scout reminds many of the crew of the wives, sisters or daughters they left in a previous life. You may have met her in a port somewhere, a young woman sitting among the worst of society - sticking out like a sore thumb.

There’s only one thing worse than a witch hunt. - Armed with a crew of pirates, a loyal partner and all the freedoms of being a legal adult, Scout has turned her gaze back to the Witch in Limsa. If the yellowjackets won’t help her, then she will eliminate the woman herself. She’s scoured the land, studying as much as she can on how to eliminate such a dark force once and for all. If you have any knowledge of fighting dark, void-like forces, she would appreciate the advice.

OOC, I AM…

1. A grownup. 21+ with years of RP experience. I’m in a happy, committed relationship. I’m not looking for any OOC romance.

2. That means no erping. Nothing beyond an R-rated film. That’s what fading to black is for. I’m fine with violence, but of course no permanent mutilation without my consent and my consent is not forthcoming.

3. Open to almost all manner of dark themes. There are pirates here after all - human trafficking, drug use, murder, its all on the table on the darker, more criminal side of the spectrum. 

4. I’m often busy. I have other characters I RP on and an FC on Mateus I run. I also work two jobs and have more than fulltime hours. However, that said, I’m on a LOT, often at night and am almost always reachable on discord or in-game on SOME character.

okay, so.

i have over like, 80 something drafts, and barely any muse for any of them. i feel horrible, about not writing, or only writing select things. i know i'm letting you all down, and i'm sorry about it. i've just been busy, with theater, and work----that all i wanna do when i come home is zone out with smth on in the background or play a.cnh. and when i do have days free, i'm either sleeping, hanging out irl with friends, or watching stuff. tl;dr i might put this blog on a semi-hiatus. because i don't have the spoons rn for more than a few things but also because ive been neglecting other characters who i started this blog for and i just.......i feel bad.
