Thoughts on SVU25? It's been touch and go for me and now I'm losing hope there's going to be any payoff for sticking it out.
imo there have been some hits and some (frankly astonishing) misses but the liv character work does occasionally go crazy so, like. i’m not a hater. i will continue to be seated.
also idk what “payoff” means for you but (& i’ve said this on main) it does kind of feel like dgraz is building up to a potentially incredibly cathartic endgame with all these lewis parallels. i know some people really hated that they didn’t do anything with the courthouse stuff last episode but i’m not mad about it? at least not yet. graz seems to enjoy a long game (see: the velasco storyline) & there are just…. too many signs something is coming? of course if it all goes to shit and they trudge all this up for nothing i might just lose my mind and hunt the writers room for sport, but rn i am still very much 👀👀👀👀👀

artists should film their entire concerts and put them on youtube instead of recording them and putting the songs on spotify bc i love listening to live performances but i dont particularly enjoy listening to all the talking and the fans screaming when im listening to my playlists
#like ive added the noah kahan one in my playlist and songs will play every now and then#and he sounds great and listening to the audience sing along elevates the song sometimes#but idc about the in between songs speeches#and there's at least one song that at the end of it has the introduction of the next one#but if you're not listening to the entire playlist in order it makes no sense#all that being said#i will continue to listen to live recordings of songs#jo says stuff#personal ramblings

hygienist: so what did you study at university?
me: chemistry...
hygienist: damn, no wonder you look so sad!
#this is especially funny now that i got a new job and it has like... barely anything to do with my degree LMAOOOO#mostly bc the job market is rough rn and i kinda need the money more than anything... but damn LOL#and then he proceeded to give me a speech about his own road to becoming a hygienist#how he started in business but then hated it so he started dj-ing#then found that he got bored of it and so he went to med school. but found that too much of a hassle as well#so now hes in dental school and working as a hygienist as he completes his schooling and is NOW debating on changing careers again#and like noah fence to the guy i know he was trying to be encouraging about how 'ur degree shouldnt shackle u to one type of career'#but also his carefree nature is sending alarm bells in my head bc the only ppl who speak like that are people who can Afford#to soul search like that. bc if i knew my parents are there to catch me if my new venture failed#damn i'd do fucking whatever i wanted to as well!! but ofc idk if hes really rich like that#he did have an aura tho. rich people aura. they got a way of talking sometimes... especially western ppl....#ANYWAY.... just wanted to share how i got scalped with my mouth wide open filled with blood thank u for listening to my ted talk#zee talks
