Jay's about to scream. 'Close call' doesn't cover clinging to the outside of a spaceship as it rushes through an astroid belt because the Doctor's engaged in philosophical talk with the aliens inside. Gods love him, he's so used to these adventures he must be danger blind. Had they died, they'd try to haunt him over this.

But no! They're safely sitting on the floor of the TARDIS. "Please take me somewhere relaxing," they plead. "My body is about to fall apart from the adrenaline. I need just a normal earth library around my time or-or-or a record store or an art gallery! Just. . ."

Senses sharpen and their head clears. As they stand up they lean against the railing. "I know we will most likely end up in another predicament really soon. So since that was such a close call, I'd like as much of a simple vacation as possible. Lets go to the mountains in Japan or something, yeah?"

👫 for Shawn or the Doctor?

For Shawn

Taylor knows what it's like living in shitty households, so she's kind of one of Shawn's safe spaces. They can sneak out together and be out all night and never have to talk, just being together is enough.

Taylor is absolutely so supportive of Veronica. She always asks if she can do Veronica's make up every time she comes out.

Taylor taught Shawn how to raise a single eyebrow, because not everyone knows how to do it. They developed a synchronicity for it every time Cory gets uppity.

Taylor has a habit of squeezing Shawn's chin whenever she thinks he's being silly. He claims it tickles.

For the Doctor

Taylor deadass has a leash for Eleven, because she would absolutely lose him due to him always darting off.

She's not a fan of fishsticks and custard, but every time he makes some, she will eat a few bites just to make him happy.

Taylor and Eleven will sometimes trade riddles when they're bored. Whoever gets stumped first has to buy the next meal at their next stop.

Taylor thinks Eleven gives good hugs, though he often catches her off guard when he hugs her from behind and lifts her off of her feet in the process. He thinks it's funny to make her squawk.

They most certainly had vastly different priorities and ideas about what one should do with their considerable intelligence. To her, it was one of the biggest things standing in the way of finding his company more amicable.

"Hey now! I have objections!" Jay bolts to block the Doctor from leaving the TARDIS. "I have many questions about this. Most important is why are you okay with this? What -- No, maybe I shouldn't know." The Doctor has many enemies. Ones he's not even told them about yet. Daleks are known. Davros is not. There's the Silence that they keep forgetting about, and the Great Intelligence. All of these entities would have an interest in them merely because of him.

"Doctor, I am not worth the effort it'd take to kill me. I am nothing but a random person in the universe. The one guy who ever tried to harm me is. . ." What time period are they in? Does it matter? Elias can't fathom the TARDIS's existence, much less get into it. "He's inconsequential when we can just leave whenever he exists! This behavior is bullshit!"
