So.
When Martha and Thomas die, we know what Bruce's Batman is like.
And when Bruce is the one to die instead, we know what Thomas's Batman looks like.*
But.
But can we talk about.
If it had been all three of them, that night.
The absolutely devasting scorched earth policy of an Alfred (from the very beginning) Batman?
Driven by not just righteous grief and anger over this godforsaken city stealing away every precious member of a family so dear to him, but the overwhelming guilt he'd feel at all of them being gone, gunned down in a dirty alley, just because he wasnt with them?
Mr. "I assure you, I share none of my employers reservations about killing" and "You'll never find them all" Pennyworth?
Especially because I think, he loves Gotham only because Bruce does. His tie is to his FAMILY, not to the city. And for it to have been the city, corrupt to it's core, that took that family away???
What Jason did in the og verse is child's play, comparatively, to what Alfred is about to do in this one.
