#meg talks#boss has brought up FMLA to me a couple times in passing#since i nearly run out of sick time so frequently#and im just 🙃 bc as nice as it would be to have medical leave for a few weeks to get shit sorted out#it’s unpaid leave. i can’t afford that#it’s useless to me bc i wouldn’t even be able to pay for the doctor visits without a paycheck#i have zeroooooo savings#like ‘’bosses are not your friends’’ yeah yeah ik.#but in this case ik she’s bringing it up so i can avoid potential disciplinary consequences of running out of sick time#like the intentions are good and ik it’s not her fault that things are set up this way!#but c’est la vie. it’s just not an option for me when im supporting three other ppl and two cats w this paycheck#it’s just. frustrating. why are we even in this situation. ppl have no#*idea how badly this system just wants disabled ppl to hurry up and die and stop troubling others#well im not going to. and im going to keep as many of my loved ones alive w me as i can. so fuck you
