To mark this momentous occasion, we'll be having our first Sense8 Week! An annual event to celebrate our beloved show.

This event will run from June 9th to June 15th. To be featured in the blog just make sure to use the tag #sense8week. We also have an AO3 collection for fic and podfic.

Q: What can I make for #sense8week? A: Anything! Fics, gifsets, art, video edits, meta, any form of fanwork is allowed and encouraged.

Q: Is NSFW allowed? A: Pal, we've all seen the show, of course it is (just add somewhere on your post that your work is NSFW and we'll share it)

Q: Is there a minimum or maximum? A: Nope! You can create without limitations.

Q: Do I have to submit something everyday? A: No, you can submit as many or as few works as you like.

The optional theme for it is: 🏆Competition🤺

This could be about friendly competition between partners or metamours for a character's attention. Or maybe you can make it about actual competition in board games or sports. Is one of your characters more competitive than others? How do they handle the wins? Is any character a sore loser? Maybe they compete academically for a reward or a title. Maybe they resolve their differences with baking competitions. Or perhaps the entire polycule is a betting ring where there are always a few ongoing bets. For a spicier take, what if your characters are competitive in bed? Or have they been distracted from sexy times because they wanted to win an argument?

Also we added a bonus prompt for May, since we weren't able to post for April.

Hi everyone! I'm @quailfence. The previous mod of this blog, @geirutoneido, reached out to me and asked me to take over this blog, and I agreed. Not much will change from how this blog previously ran, aside from two things:

AAI2 characters will be tagged using their names from the official localizations

If a post with images doesn't have an image description/alt text, then I will either add a description or tag it as "undescribed".

Everything else will remain basically the same - there will be a queue that posts once per day, if you have a post you'd like me to reblogg then @ this blog or tag it as "polyattorneys". I'll change the info pages on this blog as soon as I can figure out how to do so

Hello and welcome to the second year of FFXIV Polyamory Week; a 7 day event for polyamorous ships between FFXIV NPCs, OCs, and any mix of the two!

Unlike last year, I will not be reblogging posts to this account. Maintaining multiple social media sites took a lot more of my time and energy than I anticipated, and I don’t think that it’s feasible this year to continue. I instead encourage you all to look through the tags individually to see what everyone else is creating!

Guidelines:

-To keep this event sprout friendly, please tag for any spoilers beyond A Realm Reborn (2.0). This includes characters, MSQ events, and locations. Patch content should fall under its main expansion tags. (Examples: if your ship involves an NPC who doesn’t show up until Stormblood, tag for Stormblood spoilers. If your fic discusses events of the Shadowbringers raid series, tag for Shadowbringers spoilers.)

-Mark any NSFW as needed, either with tags or with media filters.

-Remember that you are in control of your own internet experience. If you find something you don’t wish to see, please use the content filtering tools available to you.

Hi thank you for keeping this blog running, I have a suggestion: can we have a rec week/rec fest? I don't write or draw but I read a lot of polyship stuff and I would happily put together some rec lists to spread the love. I think a lot of people miss out on the good fics because they're posted/reblogged at odd hours and maybe having rec week every once in a while would help. Obviously it's just an idea you don't have to use it but it would be nice to participate

Well, let's see what people think about this.

What's a Rec Fest?

Traditionally, it's a limited period where people make recommendations based on a certain prompt set by the organizers. Sometimes people add their own review about why they're recommending a certain work, but it's not mandatory.

We would focus on polyamorous ships, with prompts to be released closer to the date of the event.

A classic take is long distance letter writing, or postcards when apart, or love notes just because. The letters could instead be with others talking about their love(s) rather than with them. Other choices are diary entries, travel/ships logs or other types of logs. Modern takes are email exchanges, DMs, voice memos, chatfic, blogs and social media AUs. This could also be document comments or replies on a ticket system if your characters work together. If in the public eye, newspaper and magazine articles or online speculation about the ship/polycule. For something more unusual you could tell a story with other types of documents, such as receipts or invoices.

This is also a great opportunity for a collab with another writer(s) or artist(s) where each of you writes for a character or illustrates the letters the characters send to each other. Think outside the box!
