“example” — Hanzo speaking

you were waiting at the side walk on your way to the grocery store from your doctors appointment, and as the light turned green you started to walk across, then that’s when your day went bad…. a car hit you from the side — it looked as if it was speeding which it was. the car stopped for a few seconds then sped off a hit and run. almost everyone who was around you at that time ran over to check if you were okay and when you didn’t respond 911 was called immediately.

after a few hours you woke up in a hospital bed and when you tried to move your arm you cried out in pain which alerted the man sitting next to you

“hey! hey hey, no! do not move — you are in the hospital my dear” hanzo spoke as he rushed to place your arm back down but very gently. you whined in pain as you looked over at him

“what …. happened….?” you asked as he sat down and gently petted your head. he was normally always gentle with you but now he was so gentle he never thought it was possible

“the doctors and a few others told me a car had hit you while you were walking…. the doctor told me you were passed out when they got there so they took you to the hospital immediately. they also said you have a broken arm, three broken ribs and a concussion. but you should be able to go home when you’re able to move around a bit” he spoke, his voice was so soft. you took in all this information

“and the person who hit me…? where are they?”

“a kind gentleman told me that the person drove off almost immediately….” his soft voice turned into anger now, he was making a fist with his free hand “when i find them…. they will pay for hurting my wife”

“hanzo….”

“my apologies, Watashi no hikari… but he will not get away with hurting you. please forgive me”

you had no energy to argue with him right now, so you just nodded and fell back to sleep. hanzo never left your side and when it was time for you to go home he was there by your side all hours of the day. he was so paranoid that the medication that was given to you didn’t work somehow and that you’d feel all the pain of your broken bones, even tho you say that you’re fine. whenever he had to leave he always makes sure someone is at the house with you and taking care of you until you are 100% again

you and Kuai were having a nice day, this was one of his days off so he decided to go into the city with you. he never likes going into the city mainly because it was crowded and he isn’t that big of a fan of crowded spaces. throughout the day was you and him trying different sweet treats at the mall and then you had lunch at a small restaurant a very nice old man and his daughter owned. the food was amazing and now it was time to do another activity.

kuai had told you to start walking ahead as he paid and that he would catch up to you. as you started to walk across the side walk to the other side of the road a drunk driver had hit you, pretty hard too. you went unconscious almost immediately and was sent flying to the other side of the street. the driver tried to drive away but a crowd of people stopped him and started hitting his car.

kuai heard the noise of people yelling and stuff and he looked out the window to see what was happening. he saw a crowd of people at a car and another crowd in the middle of the intersection, someone had moved out the way a bit and he was able to see you laying on the floor and bleeding. he panicked and quickly ran out the restaurant to run towards you

he pushed a few people out the way to see what was going on and when he saw you laying there in the middle, bleeding and unconscious he panicked thinking you were dead. after a few hours you woke up in the hospital bed and you looked around to see what was around you, then you saw Kuai pacing back and forth, he seemed to have not noticed you woke up yet so you announced it

“kuai….?” you spoke, your voice seemingly brought him back to earth and he quickly rushed towards you

“huā! oh thank god you’re okay! i was worried” he sat down in the chair next to you and he gently placed his hand on your head and gently rubbed your forehead

“i have… no idea what happened….”

“some drunk idiot hit you — some people said you went unconscious immediately because of how hard he hit you. you have a broken leg, arm, a few broken ribs and a concussion”

he watched as you nodded and took in this information. after a few seconds he watched you fall back to sleep and he stood up to gently place a kiss on your forehead. he’ll wait until you’re able to go back home to take care of the drunk man.

about a week later you were able to go home with Kuai. he was around you almost all the time until you were fully healed or unless he was gone taking care of his work. he treated you like glass that was easily breakable with the slightest touch. once your leg has healed up he knew you were able to walk around more so he excused himself to take care of the drunk man who hit you — let’s not talk about that tho 😁

you were out buying stuff for the house while Bi Han was sitting at home waiting for you to get home. he was worried about you leaving into the city all by yourself, but you said you would be okay by yourself. he started pacing back and forth thinking you were supposed to be back by now

“maybe we can go stalk her? follow her around to make sure she is okay?” bi hans shadow suggested from the couch

“shut up — she would kill us again.. she said she can handle herself so i trust her” he wanted to go follow you more than anything to be honest…. he wanted to make sure you were safe

“she is our wife though…. we have to protect her” after shadow said that Bi han immediately ran out the door to go find you. you were walking down the sidewalk so calmly like you were trying to figure out what store to go to.

bi han was peeping from around a corner. as you were crossing the street a car hit you from the side and the car immediately stopped causing the tires to screech. it’s almost like the world was in slow motion when you got hit, he rushed over to you and saw that you were still awake just had a broken arm and few scrapes from rolling on the floor a bit. he checked on you and then went to go give the person who hit you a ear full. the only thing that stopped him from getting violent was you begging him not to

“honey please! i wasnt looking when i was crossing the sidewalk — it’s more my fault than theirs!” you said as you stood up and dusted yourself off with your good arm. you had a pretty good pain tolerance, you’ve broken a lot of bones as a kid from being stupid or something so you barely even reacted to your arm being broken this time. you grabbed Bi han and had a chat with the person. you actually weren’t mad and said that they didn’t have to worry about anything. after your conversation you and Bi han walked to the nearby hospital

“we should have killed them!” shadow said as he walked beside you, staring at your injuries

“and if you did i would have killed you both. like i said, it was more my fault than theirs”

“but still! they hurt you!”

“let it go, they were obviously apologetic so shut it” you opened the door to the hospital and went to go tell the doctors what happened and that your arm is broken. the saw you immediately and took you back to clean out your injuries and take care of your arm. after about an hour or two you were able to go with Bi han

“we are not letting you leave the house again” he said making it sound like a joke but he really meant it…

you and kabal were walking home together and he saw a weapons shop with a window display that was showing knives. he has a knife collection at home and he saw a knife he’s been looking at for so long

“hey baby — i’m gonna go try and get this knife you go find a restaurant for us to eat at” he said, he recently did a job where he got a lot of money so he was treating the both of you that day, you nodded and he went into the shop to talk to the owner about the knife. you went to walk to the restaurant you’ve wanted to go to for so long. you started to walk across the side walk with a happy face

after a few seconds of walking a car hit you from the side, you rolled a bit and the car hit a tree across the street, then followed two cop cars, one stopped beside you and the other went to the person who hit you. the guy was arrested and two of the cops came to take care of you, you were hit so hard that you went unconscious almost immediately,

kabal came out and saw the scene, when he saw you on the floor unresponsive he panicked and ran towards you, asking the cop what happened. one of the cops tried to calm him down as the paramedics came, put you on the stretcher and tried to give you medical attention

“sir, we can’t have any civilians in the truck, we will try everything we can to save her” a cop told him

“s…. ‘save her’ is she dead?! the fuck do you mean save her?!”

“she is unresponsive, from what i could tell her heart beat was very slow. there are chances she might not survive, there are chances she will. we have to leave that to the doctors. you can follow us in your car or we can give you a ride there”

kabal just ran to the car and started it, he was so scared he was going to lose you, he felt his heart beating so fast and hard it felt like it was going 500 miles per hour. he followed the ambulance truck and was panicking the entire way there

about a few hours passed and kabal was waiting in the waiting room, pacing back and forth waiting for a doctor to come and tell him that you were okay. a nurse finally did come out

“okay… so, she’s okay. she’s responsive, she’s breathing and we were able to save her. she’s is going in and out a little bit because of the medication we had to give her but she’s okay. her heart did stop for about two or three minutes in the truck but we were able to bring her back” the nurse said, kabal let out a sigh of relief and sat down “you can go and see her in room 90, just beware she will fall asleep and wake up in the middle of a conversation for about a few hours”

he made his way to your room and he saw you tiredly wave to him with one hand before it plopped back down to the bed

“h-helloooooo…..~” you were so out of it kabal had to hold back his chuckle as he went to go sit beside your bed and gently rubbed your un-injured hand “i…. am soooooo….. fuckin high….” you said before giggling a bit before your head went back on your pillow

“yeah? i’m gonna have to ask the doctors to give me what you’re having” he joked just to make the situation a little better

“he…hehehe….haaahaaa *inhale* ooo…. ah….” and with that you fell asleep. he chuckled and he stayed with you until you woke back up again. every conversation you had each time you woke up was about something completely different each time. one conversation was about rainbows, the other was about a random bird you saw out the window, another one was about taxes.
