I guess it makes sense that the Storyteller Mimic is a giant Aldi nightlight and not an actual Guy but like. That's so boring :(

๐Ÿ‡ Is there a particular scene/episode/book/etc that you want to just write a million fics about, over and over? Which one?
๐Ÿˆ Whoโ€™s your blorbo and what are some of your favorite headcanons/ideas about them that repeatedly show up in your fics? Free pass to rant about blorbo opinions.
๐Ÿ Is there anything in canon that you absolutely hate and love to fix in fics? A wrong choice made, a fuck-up in characterization, a misunderstanding never cleared up, a conversation never shown onscreen, etcโ€ฆ
๐Ÿ‡ - hmm, this is a tricky one, honestly. Most of my fics are based on scenes that either are completely not compliant with canon or could have happened but we didn't see them (see: a lot of my work with Bronte and Oralie). I could write about Bronte in Legacy over and over again though- he was so good in that book.
๐Ÿˆ - I mean, at this point I have a lot of blorbos. But I will honor the name of my blog and go with Bronte, who is The Original Blorbo. I would say the two headcanons about him that show up most consistently in my fics are a) pyren bros and b) trans!Bronte. He's also gay to me (<- says achillean transmasc who is not at all projecting /silly). In terms of characterization, I feel like I have relatively consistent motives for him throughout all my fics. He has a strong sense of duty to the Council, much as he doesn't really like his job that much. And he cares a hell of a lot more than he's willing to admit about specific people (primarily Oralie and Sophie). At some point I'm gonna write an entire essay about my characterization of him, Oralie, Emery, Kenric, and the rest of the Council, but for now take those only marginally coherent thoughts.
๐Ÿ- GAY ELVES ARE NEVER MENTIONED. Okay, I'll admit that most of my fics don't even really operate in canon, but I just hate that the implications of the matchmaking system for queer elves are never explored because it could be so interesting. So I've ended up writing a lot about a) gay pairings and b) the experience of being queer in the Lost Cities (see: Common Denominator, Ancillary to some degree).
Thanks for the ask, anon!
(ask game here)
