@ anon who said jealous dan moments, i present to you: phil always being extremely oblivious that dan is jealous. also i’ve noticed this thing where even though phil is awkward he’s such an accidental flirt?? (pholly, phil/hazel, etc.) am i the only one that sees this? i feel like phil is such a flirty person and we never acknowledge it 😭😭

as much as amazingphil™ is supposed to be pg it’s phil’s filth and flirting that i find most hilarious about him. he highkey has no filter so the stuff that comes out of his mouth (intentional or not) always has a risk of being a dropped bomb and he always rolls with it. combine that with a partner who’s both overreactive and used to being the king of rude humour who doesn’t like being ousted, and you get the peak comedy that is those two dumb boys

ON ONE HAND kinda unpopular opinion here but i feel like SOME (ie NOT ALL, s o m e) of the times when phil spouts utter filth to the extent that even dan is surprised, are genuine instances of phil not knowing what he’s saying until he’s said it (source: me, at least half of my interactions are like that where people know me for having a potty mouth but most of the time it’s completely unintentional kfjgfkjhgj). i feel like for that reason he can accidentally be flirty while never realising any better (this is a long-winded version of me agreeing with u anon, dw) cus he made it super clear in COTY he’d never want to flirt with a woman

ON THE OTHER HAND, i definitely think that an equal lot of his filth/flirting is intentional, he’s absolutely not innocent enough for every dodgy thing he says to be an accident (potty lad). or at least, there have been a fair few times when he’s said ~something perhaps by accident, realised what it sounded like, and then gone ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and stuck with it or even indulged in it. an example of this being that time last year when phil implied they wouldn’t be able to film gaming videos that evening and dan was like ~Why 👀and it just ended up as one big mess of sexual tension

agh i. i fucking love phil, man. i don’t remember exact examples for much of what i’ve said above (feel free to fill in those blanks and send examples) but what we can definitely agree on is that he’s LEWD and CRUDE and OUT about it. no more of that sMoL aNGeL BeAn shite cus PHIL LESTER has a DIRTY ACT. “will 2018 be the year of phil cleaning up his act?” - dan, 2017 gamingmas, and no dan, it was not :)
