update ! em & i actually talked & came to a resolution. i would just like to clarify & make a clear statement: my intention never was to mock or shame em for being jewish; & i don’t think i did that by making those initial posts a few months back — but i DO understand now why what was said in the group chat was seen as harmful to them. em, & anyone that practices Judaism deserves to be proud of their heritage. i’m sorry if i ever made anyone feel like they shouldn’t be. that was, & never will be my intent. we both agreed that we escalated things, & we held each other accountable which is really all i can ask for out of this situation. we have both elected to apologize & i’m genuinely surprised we were able to make amends — so don’t make it weird & speak for either of us going forward. 💖 thanks, mocha.

feminine   trans men   &   masculine   trans women   exist    &   need to be represented but y’all   please   do not accept portrayals from   cis people   who aren’t   consulting   trans people that are   willing   to help them with that aspect of their muses identity.   a lot of my male muses   (   in particular,   megumi   )   are feminine trans men but at the end of the day he is   still a man   &   i do not want those who identify as trans men to be labeled as   “   lite men    “   or    “   women coded.   “    it’s genuinely so damaging to my psyche.   

from my experience,   when i see   cis people   in the rpc try to portray trans muses they   . . .   go about it   incorrectly.   even if you   mean well,  people slip up   &   fall back on negative traits.   don’t get me wrong,   i don’t think cis people should just write cis people.   i   love   seeing trans muses,   they make me   very happy   but it’s easy for people to focus on the   wrong aspects   when it comes to being trans.   your muse should be   proud   of their identity, but it shouldn’t be   all there is to their character.

if you’re cis,   i suggest asking someone   you know   to help you through the process. it is   PERFECTLY FINE   to make mistakes,   after all we are   all human.   it’s a   learning experience.   what’s   NOT OKAY   is ignoring others when they say your portrayal is making them   uncomfortable.   lets say i were to   approach you   &   express that an aspect of your characterization was upsetting to me.   the   proper response   is to listen to my concerns   &   fix them   accordingly.   if you get   defensive   or   just block me   you are   immediately   telling me that what you’re doing is   performative   or   fetishizing.   

the   biggest tip   for writing a trans character when you are   NOT   trans is to listen to the trans people around you.   for the most part,   i am open to answer questions as long as they are not sexually invasive towards my personal experiences,   (   asks like   “   tips for writing nsft for a afab   [   assigned female at birth   ]   muse   “   are fine   )   &   as a   trans man   i am happy to help with   transmasc   specific experiences   &   the   general trans experience   !   

if you’re writing a   trans woman,   i would recommend seeking the help of a   transfem   moot who would be   willing to help you.   willing   is the main component.   you should   ALWAYS   get permission before asking   personal questions,   especially if you don’t know the person that well.   as a   transmasc,   my experiences may   overlap   with a   transfem,   but they’re definitely   not the same.   it’s important to just do your   research.   truly,   you just need to avoid fetishization.

also thanks to   gohannie   &   meow meow   i have a somewhat working older!rika au   !   essentially,   rika does get hit by the car   &   dies,   but instead of getting her head caved in,   she had less concrete fatal injuries.   she still physically died that day,   but cpr was performed   &   she had to be rushed to the hospital in order to perform various surgeries to save her life.   several of her bones were broken,   including her spine,   which caused most of her issues.   internal   &   soft tissue surgery,   discectomy,   vertebroplasty,   laminotomy,   &   a spinal fusion were all required in order to repair her back.   yuuta,   not knowing whether or not she would live,   ended up curing her,   but instead of   “   damning her,   “   he actually    saved   her life.   after her accident   &   spending so much time in the hospital,   she came to realize that there were curses lingering,   always watching her.   it wasn’t until reconnecting with yuuta  that she realized these things were actually real   &   could be seen by others.   

nicknamed   “   queen of curses   “   by gojo   &   “   curse whisperer   “   by her classmates,   she is a special grade sorcerer,   able to speak   &   control curses no matter the grade or size.   an extremely strong entity with little understanding of her powers,   yuuta has become her “ keeper ” of sorts,   protecting her from the elders at jujutsu high as he blames himself for her accident,   leading to her obtaining her powers.   seeing as even other special grades respect her,   she is a very dangerous individual.   she cares not for what is deemed moral,   focusing more on her relationship with yuuta.   ♡

i don’t think i ever talked about kanna on dash before   ?   so just some info dump while i finish up her bio.

okay   !   so her name is   kanna tachibana   &   her quirk’s name is   “   shinigami   “   !   her quirk allows her to see / interact with the dead.   in exchange for doing tasks for her,   she guides them over to the afterlife.   shinigami in japanese lore are sort of similar to western vampires,   so if she causes death,   she adds sustainability to herself.   all the while she escorts souls to the afterlife,   &   protects people from spirits who cause unnatural deaths.   

once she gets into   UA��  (   she takes hagakure’s spot,   sorry   )   she officially becomes   spirit hero: yūrei   (   hīrō no reikon: yūrei / supirittohīrō: yūrei   )   !   yūrei   is basically the   western   depiction of ghosts,   the name consists of two kanji,   幽   (   yū   ),   meaning   "   faint   "   or   "   dim   "   &   霊   (   rei   ),   meaning   "   soul   "   or   "   spirit.   "    reikon is just spirit.

growing up,   she hated her quirk.   seeing death all around her was terrifying,   &   she was often ostracized due to her being deemed   “   cursed.   “   in elementary school she met a bright boy named   natsuki sato,   who essentially just brought some much needed structure to her life.   he would often   “   protect   “   her,   guiding her past spirits while her eyes were closed   &   made her more social.   by middle school she had a nice group of friends   &   found ways to ignore the spirits.

eventually,   natsuki passes away after a villain attack   &   his spirit appears in front of her.    kanna,   immediately realizing what had happened,   becomes hysterical.   she begins screaming,   choking out the word   “   no   “   over   &   again as she reaches out to him,   her hand going straight through him.   he reaches for her too,   apologizing quietly.   her sobbing draws her parents out,   who try to comfort her,   begging her to explain what’s wrong   &   asking who she sees.   smoke is seen in the distance,   later on it was discovered that five people,   including him,   had passed.

after natsuki’s death,   kanna begins isolating herself.   seemingly haunted by his spirit,   he is the one who has to tell her to rest or drink water   &   eat.   in her rage,   she attempts to slap his hand away,   &   she can feel his skin on hers for a split second.    this is exactly what she needed,   a semblance of hope.   after that,   she pushes herself every day,   focuses more   &   more energy.   she never liked using her quirk before,   but with natsuki by her side,   she felt as if she could so anything.

as she trains her quirk,   more is revealed.   touching someone can cause their lifespan to appear above their head,   &   there is plenty of unknowns when it comes to her quirk   !   as for natsuki,   he can sometimes come in and out of other people’s vision. if his emotions are strong enough,   he can even become visible to people who normally can’t see him.

ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO CALRIFY   :   my katsuki   is   hearing impaired,   but he tries   really   hard to hide it,   as he is   afraid   it will get in the way of him becoming a hero.   (   i.e.   the us military does not enlist people with deafness that require assistance with the issue like hearing aids or sign language.   you can receive a waiver,   but the number of Military Occupational Specialties you qualify for will be limited   )   it’s not until   after   his   hero debut   does he start wearing his aid   &   publicly signing.
