VERSES STUFF 

I’m gonna do a heccin update one of these days prolly next week when I find another theme for hisui <3 but in the meantime here’s a breakdown. 

Mainverse - canon divergent , follows an au where nothing bad ever happened MirSan fam are living happily together , training together , gonna live to old age and gonna make a whole slayers village and clan. Long live the taijiya xD this is the one I write in most frequently.

Yashahime: CANON - as close to canon events as I can write. At the moment I don’t like the direction the show’s taking with the slayers atm so we’ll see if this sticks around. 

Yashahime: CANON DIVERGENT 001 - hisui runs off with the girls on adventures and they get into trouble together. that’s it. he goes without kohaku’s consent soooo... yeah :’v feels 

Yashahime: CANON DIVERGENT 002 - hisui’s village was attacked by an unknown enemy of demons and his uncle supposedly perished in the fire. with no idea about where his parents are at, the events of the past and more he’s gone to bring his uncle’s killer to justice. spoiler alert via el , kohaku’s still alive and searching for hisui and the girls. 

Yashahime: CANON DIVERGENT 003 - hisui runs off with kirara to go be his best demon slayer self. he comes back five years later an extraordinary demon slayer and someone his village can look up to. 

Yashahime: CANON DIVERGENT 004 - after his father’s passing , hisui runs away and travels trying to find himself. it’s vaguely based on the lion king, one of my favorite movies and broadway musicals. mushin looks after him and helps him connect with the past and part of himself he lost, to return to the village and face down his father’s killer. 

Back to the future! Yashahime: CANON DIVERGENT 005 - a verse in which the group time travels trying to fix the past in order to save the future. 

Yashahime: CANON DIVERGENT 006 - an alternative choice where hisui chose to follow in his father’s footsteps instead of his mothers becoming a monk instead of a slayer.

Modern AU - a young up and coming sports star , hisui is a junior student in high school training to become an olympic athlete like his mother. he’s quite popular at school but keeps to himself in his private life. 

Royal AU - pending info, still working this out but he’s either going to be a prince or knight.

Yakuza AU - Hisui is a young man that just transferred to a school as a senior. He’s enrolled in witness protection because of an incident a few years ago and lives with Wu Wei Mushin , a retired detective and volunteer at a community center. he was also good friend of hisui’s parents that were murdered. 

Kougahime AU -  a plotted verse in which hisui is the son of miroku and kagome and has an older brother, nobu.

gloved fingers trailing soft over the broad of Kai's shoulders as he rounded him.  "time is on your side, Kai."  smile soft and lips faintly upturned.  "you've earned far more than a mere moment's reprieve." ( decair - vow )

Kai exhales deep and low, rumbling throughout the heavy mask worn upon his maw, keystrokes stilling against the laptop. From the corner of his eye to his main field of vision, he watched Vow circle him, golden hues typically hard and unforgiving softening just a touch.

“Is it truly?” he muses, the pressure of touch more pleasure than the actual tactile feel of it for him. Latex meets leather, freely drawing in that covered hand to rest the bridge of the beaked mask as if caressing it with a kiss, before it’s gone just as quick. “-- It’s not when you’re here to distract me, Vow.”

Nevertheless, he does lean back against his chair, space created for him to join him, either in front or on his lap.

Overhaul made a mental note to run down the list of members that still were stubbornly set in their ways. Himiko was a guest of his, a valued, prized guest graciously handed over by Shigaraki as their relations were strained at best; possibly never be able to be mended after taking his comrade, even if he’d done the same to his welcome party.

Hurting and insulting Himiko would be treated as though they’d directed it to the Boss himself. If she hadn’t made mincemeat out of the soldier, then he would have.

“Don’t be vile,” he scolded further, prying his finger out of her playful bites; eyes hooded in a half glare as he suppressed the shiver of disgust going down his spine. He only needed to see the tiniest speck of saliva to have him blanch, and he was peeling away the material to toss at the demolished corpse at their feet to snap on a fresh glove.

“ -- As easy as that would be, I’m afraid I don’t quite trust you enough with something as potentially threatening as my blood.” Kai intones, finishing up his grooming, inspecting his handiwork. A perfectly clean face. “Prove to me you won’t use it to sabotage my reputation or transform into me and I may put it into consideration.”

“I have something for you, child.”

Words that could mean a million things -- mostly all pain, but he operated on a reward system that he was told would help make the process better with time. If she behaved, stopped running away from him and let him continue to draw her blood, then she would be rewarded. If she didn’t do as she was asked, then she would be punished, which meant the use of his quirk.

From behind his back was a simple plush toy, clearly picked at random, with no heed to what she liked, what she might have wanted. There’s no kindness, especially not when he tosses the thing like it was infested to her.

“You did good on your last visit.” he explained. “I believe children partake in the ritual of naming inanimate things.. so what will you call it?”

The act of showering for him was personal; it abated his fears of the germs around him; that he could be truly well and fully clean when stood under the scalding hot water swiftly turning his warm skin a light red, steam fogging up the glass windows. For a moment, Kai is entirely wrapped up in himself, eyes closed, letting the waterfall cascade down his back whilst he leans a little against the wall, enjoying it.

His eyes snap open at the sound of the door sliding to -- though he knew none would be so bold as to enter unless they had a death wish, or they were..

“.. Tomura,” he murmurs gently, pushing away from the wall. There’s no modesty in him, standing plainly with all he had to offer, if anything he seemed more keen on hiding the full body tattoo painted on his back; visible from the front only by the way it curled over his shoulders, down the sides of his arms and his thighs.

He tries not to stare for too long -- but really, the man had a sense of ethereal beauty to him; even more so with damp hair and pale skin turning pink under the heat of the water. He gently reaches over to turn down the heat for it to be more bearable for him.

“.. And what game are you going to play this time..?”

“Perhaps we merely got off on the wrong foot. Both of our sides were injured, it’s in the past, now.” He hadn’t followed through killing Magne like he had intended; though he’d taken Compress’ arm to prevent himself being marbleized, as he later researched just what he was capable of. A trivial injury to someone like him.

“I’m willing to overlook the man you decayed and return your associate’s arm to full function. It will be painful, as it is for those who experience my quirk, but I suppose it is better than the alternative.” He leaned back slightly in his seat; tone business as usual, fingers lacing together. “-- That will let us settle a foundation for a proper partnership, don’t you think?”

👀 Overhaul do you regret how your first meeting with the League went down and is there anything you would have changed about your approach?

"Yes. Immensely. I lost my temper."

A sigh. A deep one.

"-- I would not have killed Magne, to begin with. Compress' arm was a necessary loss to ensure I wouldn't be .. marbleized? But slaughtering one of their inner circle like that is costing me muchly in our current negotiations. I am certain that Shigaraki has no intention of actually joining forces after something like that, regardless of his current charity with Miss Toga and Twice.

It's a rocky road to be on and my safety isn't guaranteed. Even if I brought Magne back to life, experiencing death and whatever comes after may scar her irreparably.."

“Mimic. I trust that things are running well?”

He’s spending more time in his lab and practice than usual, though he has many underbosses to help manage the family’s affairs, it didn’t hurt to check in now and then, especially with their .. tenuous alliance with the League of Villains, all of which seemed to come and go as they please. He regarded the puppet with a downward tilt of his head, face entirely stoic.

“Give me a general update.”

It’s.. very difficult trying to get work done whenever Shigaraki deigned to visit him. Kai thought, foolishly, he could finish the rest of his emails before he could retire for the evening for their shogi game and perhaps something a little more, but either the man was impatient or he had devilish plans of his own .. well, it lead to him worming his way into a position to get at his neck.

“Tomura..” he whispered in low warning, but it hardly carried a threat when his head tilted a little to let him access more of his neck; the skin a little red and irritated from such close contact attention, though somewhat flushed regardless with anticipation. Kai managed to get his arm around the man to continue typing away, though his keystrokes hitched to a stop when he felt the other’s nose and face trace along the curve of his neck.

“Five minutes is all I am asking for,” he grumbles, knowing it’s a losing battle, because his hand’s already retreated from the keyboard to Shigaraki’s hip, squeezing lightly. His eyes flit closed, a long, drawn out sigh escaping him.

“An .. interestingly unique design,”

Chisaki was a man of many faces; many aliases, and many businesses. Though he knew her vaguely of being in U.A (no transaction was ever made without a preliminary background check) he wouldn’t be surprised if she recognized him from some hero network files. Yakuza were the legal loophole, a criminal man walking free. There was no evidence; therefore no conviction; and he intended to do some legitimate business.

As such, the face he wears is of a business man interested in these so called support items. He’s seen the Sports festival -- who hadn’t? -- and he was far more vested in a scientific mind than brute strength brought on by a disease known as quirks.

His turns the piece he’s picked out, appraising it with narrowed golden eyes over the beak of his mask; leather gloved fingers deft and careful with surgical precision. His fur-lined coat was traded for a much warmer black overcoat to match the style of the suit he’s worn, similar to the support developer CEOs that she had been so interested in impressing.

“.. Will you tell me more about this?”

Chisaki is a strange case of being a known criminal; yakuza, but without any hard evidence or his face to the crimes, there wasn’t anything to convict him of. Didn’t stop the government sending as many nuisances and low-tier heroes to inspect his facilities; this time being his private clinic.

He didn’t expect Hawks to be at his doorstep -- not literal; as the yakuza compound was firmly hidden away under Mimic’s ... well, mimicry.

Kai thinks himself a genius setting her loose upon those pitiful men. He had an inkling they wouldn’t know what to do against a woman like her, respect or not that he hadn’t deigned them the interest of meeting them himself; it was the more diplomatic move to have her handle the affair. His ego would get the better of him -- they both knew that. This arrangement allowed him to spend more time in his lab, something he ultimately preferred.
