A person may complement you on how you are looking or even how you do things, but the moment he or she mentions the word, "but" you therefore have to pay more attention because the words that comes after that usually bring about what is contrary to the good report given before. In the scripture above, the Bible is starting by mentioning the word "but" which means that there was something of value, which was mentioned prior to this verse. In verse 30 the writer was stating the possible occurrences in life, for example, "The youths grow tired". The youths are considered to be the wells or streams of strength but now the Bible is stating that even though they are so full of life, they too can grow weary. Though they may grow weary and tired, we are told that those who hope is in the Lord shall renew their strength. When you are with God, it does not really matter that you experience trials and tribulations. Post about Hilda....

Alright, time to talk about Hilda! :D

I'm curious of what would have happen to her. It is statement and show that she died in Albert's arms, but I (and few others) like to think that she survived and was made into a cyborg like her husband....fiancée?... let's go with lover ^^'

The thing is what can of powers will she be given as a cyborg? Maybe similar to Albert? Again I need to watch maybe '01 series and read the clip in the manga to see how she died. After that I will come up with several things of what became most machine parts and what will affect her to have that sort of power. (I have a sudden urge to give her wings.... *_*)

I also like to think that she was frozen into sleep because of the failures of the other assassin cyborgs and [for the '01 series] since they send in a 004 machine clone instead. Even when she was finally finished and became known as cyborg 0014. The last of the third generation cyborgs. She will never wake up until many years later. Similar to the ending of the Captain America movie. ^^ 

Unless you and I do it in the AU where it was Hilda that became 004 than Albert.

I guess my imitation screenshot was more popular than I expected! ^^;

So for those who are interested, here's some full-body character turnarounds for 0014-Hilda from the 1960's anime continuity, but since there's a difference in style between the color movies and B&W TV anime (not just a lack of color), here's the difference between the two!

There's quite a bit of exposition and history behind why this version looks the way it does, so I'll put it behind a cut.

Thing is, I've mentioned before that Hilda's battle uniform is always supposed to evoke a "non-combatant" sort of image, just in the fact the tunic was also a midi dress in just about every iteration of the property. But since the 1960's anime went completely in its own design direction, I took that "battle dress" idea to its logical extreme. It's always looked like this, ever since I designed it like...18 years ago now. But now since that much time has passed, I went back with what I know now and attempted the design again. The bow is smaller and some of the more "feminine" aspects less exaggerated, but for the most part the design's stayed the same!

I dunno if I'll do full sheets for all of the others, as the most I have are just rough sketches (after all the CGI Kamiyama stuff is super realistic/detailed and it's a bit much too much for my skill level) but we'll see where it goes!

I'm open to questions or suggestions, so don't be afraid to ask! 8>

I also decided her thighs hold tools and supplies just like her arms do. No, it doesn't make sense in the real world. But it's Cyborg 009, it's got some cartoony physics to it. So what.

This is as much something for future reference for me as it is for the rest of you, but for now I'll put the 1979 anime version of 0014-Hilda here, related to these posts!

While I try really hard to copy art styles from anime, it's...subjective how successful I am at it. >_>;;; And yes, Toyoo Ashida's style for the 1979 anime is more detailed than the 1960's designs, but still more simplified than most. I still don't like how the right arm turned out. And Hilda only really had one scene in one episode, and I haven't found any evidence of character design reference sheets outside of what's already been floating about the internet (I've bought those btw, I'm trying to clean them up before I submit them to @setteidreams' website!) so I had to do my best guess.

I went to the Cromptons’ at 11 5/60, sat with them (all the 4 girls) 1 10/60 hours – Mrs Garforth there part of the time – Mary asked if I intended to write to Henrietta – and Henrietta asked if I intended to write to Mary – Mary begged it might be to Henrietta, for she (Mary) ‘hated a correspondence’ – I almost declared the same – said I was a bad one at letter writing etc etc that I never began the attack, but that if attacked I would promise to defend myself as well as I could – here the matter ended I have no wish for more correspondents and no intention of writing –

From the C–s’ (Cromptons’) went over the bridge called on Mrs Middleton and Mrs Baitson, sat a little while with both –

then to the Belcombes’ – Mrs B– (Belcombe) and Anne just set off gone to Scarbro – sat 1/2 hour or more tête à tête with Mrs Milne – saw Eliza for a minute or 2 and Dr. B– (Belcombe) Left a TTL [to take leave] at the Salmonds’ –

wrote and sent a few lines on 1/2 sheet to my aunt to say I could not get a place in the mail tonight, but had paid for one in the mail tomorrow morning – then wrote a full 1/4 sheet note to Miss Mary Crompton to go tomorrow Mr D– (Duffin) and Miss M– (Marsh) played Ecarté – Great deal of rain last night 2 or 3 showers this morning – otherwise fine day –

Fun 0014-verse headcanon time: since it takes place in the 2001 anime continuity, 001 meant it when he said he couldn't save 009 (and to this extent 002)...but it didn't stop him from trying upon seeing 003 watching them burn.  

Needless to say something happens when they're finally teleported at the last possible moment, something that even *he* can't explain and still hasn't been able to figure out.  When pressed for an answer, Ivan admits that maybe there was something bigger at work, but he doesn't want to jump to any conclusions.

I leave it deliberately ambiguous in-story, but you and I know it's literally the author reaching in and keeping them alive for further adventures, using the power of Deus Ex Machina; we all know the fans wished on that shooting star that they would live on to make that big sister's dream of peace one day come true.

In the Pokémon AU, it's the Lake Guardians that save them (since Azelf bonds with 009 and 002 she has a damn good reason for saving them), sacrificing themselves to amplify 001's powers to enough of a degree that Joe and Jet are saved.  This is Pokémon after all, and there had better be a happy ending, regardless of whether or not it's a crossover with a much darker property!
