Another one for @digimon02countdown uwu Finally I have an excuse (?) to draw Hikari and Tailmon in Miyuki and Renamon's places~ so yes, I used Miyuki and Renamon as pose reference for them (flipped Renamon's pose tho).

It might sound weird but, I woke up like at 7:00 am and idk if it happened after I felt asleep again or before waking up but I had a dream about a new pv for THE BEGINNING (right on the prescreening?).

Idk how accurately I'll remember now that I'm wide awake but I'll try because I think I'm quite hyped for the movie ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ also, it's very rare for me to dream; I just black out and boom it's the next day, anyway, here it is:

I was like browsing on Digimon Partners and there was a new article about an upcoming PV, it included screenshots.

There were various but the one I remember the most (hehe) was one that had Rui walking out from a white and purple light with digital patterns and 0s and 1s. The interesting part was that there were other two by each of his side; these two were wearing like VR headsets but I'll assume those were cool glasses but here is the thing, those two were none others than Hime-chan and Nishijima-kun! They were wearing casual clothes tho (not the ones they were using in torai. PT2 btw, but can't really describe OTL)

Am I that desperate for their acknowledge within the canon? Idk but ok, next. I was screaming "THEY ARE ALIVE!" repetitively as I began to hear voices, I suppose I put the PV and it might sound crazy but I indeed was listening to Japanese dialogues, specifically Kaida Yuhko as Hime-chan (ง ื▿ ื)ว and I don't remember very well what she said but I remember a part where she said "our fates rests on Rui's choice" and by "our" she meant it as "we as chosen children". I heard that as Baihumon and Imperialdramon Dragon Mode were roaring which, Baihumon was bigger than Imperialdramon, baby uwu

I think I also saw Ken-chan chasing Rui but I'm having my doubts now ;w;

Well, that's it, maybe... I feel like it was longer and I'm indeed missing a lot of parts but, I can't remember OTL why must dreams be like this?

Anyway, I guess that's how hyped I'm for the movie (⁠｡⁠ﾉ⁠ω⁠＼⁠｡⁠) this never happened to me before.

Realized I never shared my thoughts on my rewatch of 02beginning. This time I went with my aunt (who stopped watching Digimon after 02 because of "the epilogue ships" and only knows the rest of the Digimon series thanks to me).

Spoilers ahead as usual but first, let me tell you what my aunt told me right after we got out of the cinema: "Where can I get a Rui and Ukkomon plushie?"

Don't really have much stuff to say, just things I noticed that I couldn't have possible thought in my first watch.

You know in Rui's 8th bday party (2000)? Ukkomon said "I promised I would bring your friends to your party but they were busy"; I thought he meant it as in his school friends, in my rewatch it was when I realized that Ukkomon was talking about Taichi and co. you know, the "chosen children". I should have noticed it when we saw Armagemon and Omegamon on the TV but I didn't XDD.

Also an interesting remark my aunt did when we saw Ukkomon melt; she said that "Oh, so that's like the fairies? like when you stop believing in them they die?" and I thought it was a very interesting remark :3c not very wild tbh.

And the visual lighthing regarding Rui! I mean, I noticed it in my first watch but this time I watched it being more consious about it; how Rui is almost always left in the "shadows", his digivice being split in light and shade AND the most important one, when Rui grabbed his mom's hand, the mom was in the shadows while Rui was the one in the light this time.

The one thing I still don't quite wrasp is that if Rui was able to change the past or if he just healed his wounds. Either way, it doesn't seems like it changed the "time".

Well, I think that's all. I promise to come with more once I am able to watch it in japanese to compare what I remember the spanish dialogues to be also, we missed the "Unkomon" joke of course XDDD. I couldn't listen quite well (again OTL) but I think the spanish dub went for something like "Kukomon"?

Anyway, my aunt is now also a Rui and Ukkomon oshi, thank you uwu

So, can we expect spoilers of THE BEGINNING now? I'm salty because I'm sure we ain't getting the movie anytime soon here (I envy you Americans and countries that already have release dates) so I don't really mind them as if, I see them I will hype for sure uwu but I assure you, I'll keep my blogs spoilers free for you BUT I'm open to hear spoilers (ง ื▿ ื)ว just be mindful how you share them for other peeps who do mind going spoiler free.
