Before blogs, Instagram feeds, YouTube and Twitter gained a strong hold, we used to digest the #culture through print media. A lot of the time the covers were annoyingly deceptive and I caught hella Ls but there are a few gems out of what I kept. There’s the Reasonable Doubt and Ready to Die album breakdowns from XXL, the Craig David cover Touch mag which featured a super lo-res picture and names of So Solid Crew and out of the two articles that got published in my uni magazine, I only have a copy of one... but yea amongst these pages are a plethora of album and artist promo plus a whole lot of ads by rapper launching clothing lines.
