(personal rant in the tags because i am stress and need to vent asgfhsdf)
#personal#so basically me and my fiance who has a problem with his leg (he needs an orthopedic cane) were at the festival and overall it was great#but i was so overwhelmingly stressed all the time because i was worried about his leg because it was visibly getting worse#and now we're home and we have tickets to another festival this weekend but we agreed he can't go because too risky and too stressful#sooooo the point is i am supposed to go alone and the point is. i want to go. but 1. i am kinda scared to go alone and sleep in a tent#2. i am running out of money 3. i will be worrying about him at home (but i also know he will be just fine at home)#but i also really want to go because my paid leave ends on tuesday and i don't want to spend it at home when i technically spend it#1. in my beloved mountains 2. at concerts (because the festival is in the mountains)#and worse of all i see my freedom ending and next week i am going back to work#and now we've been at home for 3 days and all we did was like. stay in bed and watch bad tv. which. with him is always fun! but#but i also don't want to spend my last week of freedom like that especially when the weather is absolutely beautiful#and i want to go to the mountains#but i don't know if the stress and money are worth it. actually it's more about fear and stress than the money.#and i just. i literally don't know what to do. i want to go but i don't want to go but i want to go#i have no idea how to explain it ;________;#what do i do send help#i want to go but not alone but this is the only option and i know i will meet people but. ughhhhhhhhhhhhh WHY IS LIFE SO HAAARDDD#ANYWAY.#and he's like: you should go! you should go!!! :) but i will miss you and be worried :( but go for it!#and i am like!! i should go! i want to go!!! but i will be stressed and worried!!! :((((((( but i want to#adulting is. hard#decision making is. literally the worst. freedom is literally a lenght of rope and god wants me to hang myself with it

How about you go to the country of Italy? What do you believe about this? You’d love Italy. It has a number of intriguing traditions for you to partake because you probably normally would not. They have tons of Christmas markets along with other joyous occasions. You’re able to walk around and pretend you’re a princess when purchasing several statues of Santa Claus there (or anything–that’s what I would purchase). Additionally, if you just happen to be searching for New Year’s Eve, they’ve acquired a live orchestral concert which happens right there at the Colosseum.

Become Absolutely Exhausted at the Party at Scotland
Scotland will be the place to be for New Year’s in case you enjoy doing 500 million items over the course of 2 days. There is a two-day New Year’s party in Edinburgh, Scotland known as Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, and it will wear you out the hell. Oh, and there is also something known as a Loony Dook, where you are able to stand in an extremely arctic river on New Year’s Day. Does not this seem like a great way to start 2018?

Consider A Few Snow Monkeys in the Mountains & Natural Hot Springs of Japan
Don’t need to party in the streets? Me neither! Here’s an idea: Japan. The mountains are covered in amazing scenery of snow covering cliffs, shrines, and temples. Does not this seem serene? How about going to Nagano, where you are able to see snow monkeys carrying small baths in the natural hot springs? You can do it at any moment throughout summer time. And, if you still need a party, there is Oshougatsu, the New Year festival, which will be held January 1-3, at which everybody becomes served sweet rice wine (cool) as they “line up to pray” (Is this considered a party? Yes right?) . Giant bells are tolled. Seems cool.

Visit Ho Chi Minh City, Where a Bunch of Tiny Santas Are Running About
Saigon does Christmas right–that the streets have been covered in festive decoration, along with the weather is super fine. On Christmas Eve they’ve fireworks, bands, and individuals throwing confetti everywhere at the Notre Dame Cathedral (in which you could also attend a midnight mass in case that’s something). Also, kids dress up like Santa Claus, therefore there is like … a lot of small Santas running round, I guess? That is kind of weird but probably amusing.

Sing Underwater Carols in the Maldives
Sit on a beach on Christmas rather than sitting on your family’s home. Create a dinner reservation at the Anantara Kihavah Villa’s underwater restaurant–in which they then go on to explain that you will “sing carols around the shore” and then “proceed to your table” at which you eat with a “live coral Christmas tree” (and I suppose continue singing? But maybe that’s optional?) .

Ride Just a Little Train Throughout Griffith Park
Seeking to keep it simple? You’re able to just ride this small holiday train through Griffith Park in Los Angeles for a few minutes. Beginning the day after Thanksgiving, every day for approximately 3-5 hours you and your family can board this small train and ride throughout the festively adorned and lit-up playground for one mile–and for only $4 (what a hot thing!) .

Are you, like me, filled with routine, joyful Santa Claus? Well, do not you worry –since there is an evil individual in Austria, and he has got an entire festival. There’s an annual race in which a lot of people dressed just like Krampus run for quite a while. In addition, if Austria is too far away for you to travel, then there are Krampus Festivals in lot of places. There is one in Los Angeles, which comprises a “Krampus Ball,” as well as a “Krampus Race.” So, dance at a Krampus match, and after that run in one. Lots of physical action here! But, that’s fine!
