re last rb: im not necessarily against ai for entertainment purposes (if current programs weren't trained by kenyan slave labor. i dont support gen ai at the moment since most programs either were directly trained off of slave labor or use software from other ai programs that were trained off of slave labor)
i feel like:
1. you cant steal art unless you literally take someones art, post it claiming it as your own, AND also try to profit off of the persons work or make it so the artist can't build a following base/ profit because youre taking their identity.
2. so long as you are honest abt the fact you use ai and you make it clear that youre an ai artist, i dont see why its 'wrong' to make art and even sell it if you want. yes even if you train your artwork off of another artist's works. if you make it clear its ai and that youre not that person (if the art styles are so similar theyre almost indistinguishable), if ppl want to pay for your stuff, they can do that? its a bit weird in my eyes but im not a cop.
3. training ai programs off of an artist who doesnt want you to train a program off of their art style isnt wrong because its stealing, its wrong because youre going out of your way to do something you know is going to upset another person. youre not a thief, youre a major asshole. the distinction is very important. if you are insistent on training an ai on an artist's work who you know for a fact does not want ai users to train ai on, either dont tell them or post the works you make online, or dont do it??? like you're just being insanely disrespectful and purposefully trying to upset someone and thats wrong no matter what, regardless of whether you support ai art or not.
4. majority of anti gen ai ppl are ableist and majority of pro gen ai ppl are combative and condescending. an anti ai person will say 'ai is stupid because youre telling me you cant write a 1000 word essay in 30 minutes?? give me a break i wrote one in 5 minutes on the bus on the back of a sheet of paper and got an A+, yall are literally the most stupid baby (r slur) ppl imaginable. imagine needing ai for something as simple as that you deserve to fail all your classes 🤣🤣🤣' and then the pro ai person will respond 'umm actually everyone should be able to use ai no matter what, in fact im totally fine with my doctor using ai to pass their prerequisite literature courses bc you literally dont need literature to be a successful doctor and i think everyone should be okay with their drs using ai in college. also if you disagree with me, youre a crybaby facist treatlerite 😚🥰' whatever happened to being normal and applying different standards to different situations?????
... no you shouldn't use ai for important essays, especially if youre going into fields where lives are on the line, but if you dont realize a majority of writing assignments in hs and college are busy work assignments that aren't even designed to build or test any sort of writing skills other than 'can you hit this really large minimum word count?' and because of this, make it so a vast amount of disabled students are effectively barred from getting diplomas/degrees due to the extremely inaccessible nature of these REQUIRED classes, you cant be helped, i fear. you arent even good writers, ive checked your ao3 pages, so lets stop acting like there is some sacred knowledge you recieved from passing your 10th grade british literature course, and start addressing why people need to use ai to pass college in the first place (rampant ableism, lack of accommodation, quantity > quality assignments that test for how much free time and attention you have, not how well you know the material).
5. can we talk abt the kenyan slave labor? literally why tf is nobody talking abt the fact modern slave labor was used to train chatgpt?

Lockdown Affair Together: You & Me Part 1 | KHR Fanfic
⁍ Tags: KHR OCs, Tsuna x Lucia, COVID Lockdown AU ⁍ Featuring: Tsuna in his 20s, Tsuna still being a dork, no flames, yes to the mafia family ⁍ Warning: I wrote this instead of attending my online classes back in 2020, I was in Venice (which was closer to the COVID chaos) so I wrote this from that perspective
Tsuna and Lucia, living together, while a global pandemic is going on. Snippets of a life together.
1 minute rule | March 2nd, 2020
“They said to wash your hands for one whole minute.”
Tsuna nodded, squishing himself into the bathroom after Lucia. Their little apartment was as comfortable as it came, and Tsuna had long since gotten used to the notion that privacy was a primitive idea. He had evolved to a point where he could coexist with Lucia barging into the bathroom to brush her teeth while he was taking a shit.
“Let’s make it into a song!”
“Do any of your Disney songs fit the one minute rule?”
“Uhmmm∼” Lucia purposely bumped into him, telling him to shut up and follow her lead. Tsuna pushed back, he would have none of that today. “Come on! Washing hands for 3 minutes is not even that bad, it’s actually better.”
“I disagree.”
“Stingy.”
Tsuna rolled his eyes. He might as well ignore her suggestion and get this over with—there was a new game he was dying to try—until he realized his hands were filled with more disinfecting soap than he would have liked. He threw a glance at Lucia, his suspicions were put to rest when he noticed the bottle of soap in her hands.
Petty.
“Then,” Tsuna took a deep breath, it wasn’t every day he decided to break into a musical number, the whole mechanics of it were still rather embarrassing to him. “Oni no pantsu wa ii pantsu~ Tsuyoi zo, tsuyoi zo~”
Lucia’s eyes sparkled with mirth, whether because of his poor musical skills or because of the song itself, he wasn’t too keen on finding out lest she laughed in his face. She poured a gracious amount of soap for herself, “Tora no kegawa de dekiteiru~ Tsuyoi zo, tsuyoi zo~!”
An ogre’s underwear are good underwear They are strong, they are strong They are made of tiger skin They are strong, they are strong Even if you wear them for 5 years, they won't tear They are strong, they are strong Even if you wear them for 10 years, they won't tear They are strong, they are strong Let's wear them, wear them, ogre’s underwear Let's wear them, wear them, ogre’s underwear You too, me too, you too, and you too, Everyone, let's wear them, the ogre’s underwear!
The one marathon everyone was waiting for | March 10th, 2020
Tsuna cursed as he was confronted, once again, with an incomprehensible string of kanji he didn’t remember writing. “I don’t know what I meant, but it’s not this!” he groaned, ending the sentence’s entire existence.
The sudden lockdown had left Tsuna—and therefore Lucia—with too much free time on their hands. Tsuna took to writing those game reviews he said he would be writing later, until “later” became “never” and he had to replay those games from beginning to end.
He was Tired.
“Why did you pull an all-nighter?” called Lucia’s voice from the kitchen, the sounds of pots the only indication she was using the place for more than just the comfortable table Tsuna opted against in his exhaustion. “And don’t think I don’t know. Your spot was cold this morning.”
Right, he wasn’t allowed to pull all-nighters, but she could pull as many all-nighters as she wanted in the name of the family. Tsuna called bullshit on that logic, and turned up the volume of the TV, if only to add some background noise to not fall asleep to.
“—un mese di Harry Potter! Tutta la saga, dalle prime lezioni... fino all’ultima avventura—” (a month of Harry Potter! The entire saga, from the first lessons to the last adventure)
The scream coming from the kitchen jolted Tsuna awake, something which the no-sugar-triple-shot-espresso coffee he had drunk had clearly failed to do. He had no time to blink as Lucia barreled into the living room, snatching the remote from his hands.
“—tutti i lunedì e martedì alle 21 e 20 su Italia 1!” (all mondays and tuesdays at 9:20 pm on Italia 1!)
Lucia turned towards him, smiling too bright for him to feel at ease, the remote returned to his hands a moment before she spoke, “We’re doing the Hogwarts Sorting Hat quiz.”
“I thought you already did.” Tsuna blinked, confusion hitting him like a particularly well-aimed bullet to the head — and yes, he was familiar enough with that sensation to use it as a metaphor.
“But you didn’t.”
“Because I didn’t watch the movies—we talked about this.”
Lucia pointed at the TV where a washing machine commercial was currently being aired, her brightly shining eyes begged him to understand what she was trying to communicate without saying more on the subject. Tsuna blinked at her once again, begging her to understand he hadn’t yet unlocked the ability to read people’s minds.
“Italia 1 is marathoning the movies, it’s the perfect opportunity to watch them.”
“As if they don't run a marathon every 2 to 3 years.”
“Shush.”
“Why the quiz?”
“I want to know what’s your house.”
“What if I end up in a different house? Than yours?”
“I wouldn’t break up with you over that.” Lucia rolled her eyes at him, as though he was being stupid for assuming she would break up with him for such a petty reason. He wasn’t convinced, at all, considering she almost strangled him when he admitted to not having seen much of Disney’s movies.
“I won’t be held responsible for what that quiz says.”
“Pff, there’s no way you’re anything other than a Gryffindor.”
Fortunately for him, he didn’t even need to correct her as the HUFFLEPUFF badge on the screen seemed to do all the talking. Tsuna was, however, bemused about his girlfriend angrily ordering a bunch of Harry Potter merch just for him — was she or wasn't she happy that they were in the same house?
#like see what I'm talking about?#it was a freaking lockdown and all I was thinking about 'hOW DO I MAKE THIS ABOUT TSULU?'#sometimes I think they have me down bad#anyway there was also a pirates of the caribbean marathon at the same time but that was kinda meh#so me and my roommate had an entire disney marathon on our own#khr oc#khr tsuna#lucia de santis

it's funny, i was thinking the other day how weird it is that middle school was 20 years ago for me, that sounds fake even though i Am 30, and middle school 5th grade would have been 20 years ago exactly. it's just not a time scale i'm used to! it's interesting.
and going to college late makes it more so. esp because the public schools in my area have a program for high school students to take some free college courses, so sometimes i hear from teens in my online classes. i'm sure i've talked about stuff like "omg i had to explain to my 18 year old coworker what dial up internet is that's so weird!"
but nothing. nothing could have prepared me for what i've just read. this... growth of technology is unfathomable to me. "our computers growing up had dial up if anything"the internet" was not for the mainstream middle class until the early 2000s, iirc. our windows 98 computers were used for games on cd-rom almost exclusively, maybe aol off a cd as i got older. i think we got our first home computer in 2004, so middle school, and it was so i could use a word processor to type my essays instead of hand-writing them.
you cannot, i tell you, imagine my feelings upon reading a sentence such as this:
"I have been doing online school since I was in 3rd grade,"
i think to myself, 'this cannot be right. i know they had online school before 2020. but 3rd grade? this kid was online in 3rd grade? not just online but doing SCHOOL? what grade is he now?? he can't be a senior, he must still be younger than that. what, 10th grade or something? even then...'
well, 7 years ago is 2016. if he's in 10th grade, he could very much have done 3rd grade online in 2016.
fear. fear stikes deep in my heart at this. even if he is a senior, online school existed in 2014. it wasn't common, but it was something i considered in 2010 and onwards. so.
so.
i am left aware of a gap, a dazzling and terrifying gap between me and the people born just a decade after me. i grew up without internet. offline. utterly. it existed, sure, but that was for people who could afford it and what was the point? what was on the computer that could be that cool? of course i was envious. and i still explored the transitioning 2.0 web of young social media.
they... were born into it. their baby pictures aren't all in an album in someone's basement, they're on fb and google and. they never had... the option to ignore it. the adverts. the infinite loops. the rabbit holes. they never lived in a world where that "internet stuff" was new and a little weird to care so much about. the assumption of sharing anything digitally is baked in. the assumption that online means infinite user-generated content.
i don't think... i don't necessarily think online is bad, edison was a witch, technology phones eat brains bah humbug. it's. just very. humbling, i guess, to realize how vastly different my experiences are from theirs and. to have the perspective of having lived a little in the before world, and lived in the transitions. and. to realize that i am... still growing and aging and new people, entirely new people, are growing and learning and, in a way, in my place. in terms of not knowing the histories and the social norms that have changed. and that i only know how little i know! and... that i can only image how overconfident i was as a kid in how much i knew, and yet... i was sure of those assumptions because everything changed so fast and i hadn't seen firsthand how different things could be from one decade to another.
and the concept of 'one decade to another' is... another thing that only beings to have a sense-making context now. some things, patterns, are only... not only, but easier to see, by far, from that point of view.
when i was a kid i remember every day feeling like it's own chapter. a week was forever, so many things could happen! and i was right, and i was able to notice all those things because each one of them was a first, was The Most Important Social Thing to happen for me! at that point in my life, those very small friendships were the most intense personal relationships with chosen people i'd ever had.
now whole months go by. things happen. i notice them, somewhat, but differently. so and so is doing that again. this person is going through that thing, but i dealt with that myself oh years back, so i know how it is. awesome new milestone! i have a lot more progress to look back on, so i'm able to see it in context. it's... i guess i'd be lying to say it didn't seem a little less exciting, but it's also... i'm able to enjoy it more. i feel less like a fake. it's not a fluke, it's the 20th milestone, there must be something to this. it's a little more intrinsically rewarding, and i can pat myself on the back more and mean it. but it is... less exciting, for that reason. i don't feel like i'm getting away with something, as much, any more.

✅ A Safe and Friendly Place to Live
Georgia is known for being one of the safest countries for students. Crime rates are low, and locals are warm and welcoming. Plus, the cost of living is pretty reasonable — $250–$500 per month covers your accommodation, food, and daily expenses.

The idea to Learn One to One Math Classes Online in India is a revolutionary idea that has been used by various online institutions lately or during the pandemic. There is no requirement for mass coaching, and interaction with instructors that provide one to one live online classes. In one to one online classes, the tutor just works with one student at a time, with sessions lasting between 30 minutes to a couple of hours.
Technological developments have allowed teachers to continue their classes through the internet and students to finish their education. As more and more people become aware of the advantages of one to one online tuitions, there is a growing demand for online tutoring platforms that keep up with educational technology developments.
• Complete attention to students
We often hear parents complain about their kid’s lack of attention in school and also in tuition. It is simply unrealistic to demand the complete attention of the teacher among 25 to 40 students. Well. The teacher can only do that much. But the student gets the whole attention of the teacher when they learn one to one science classes online in India.
Conclusion
Our goal is to improve 6th to 10th grade results for all students so that they score well in exams with flying colours and make learning more interesting, intuitive, more customized, more reasonable and simultaneously provide a hassle free experience. One on one tutoring will also empower students to be independent learners and handle their own time. With the development of technology, online tutoring has become the best way to study and discover while having the time and location flexibility. It will enhance your confidence and academic performance by honing on the subjects. With regular feedback, personal attention, and innovative assessment techniques, you can be assured that the students will absorb the skills required to excel the exams.
