The Scottish Invasion : How Scottish Wrestlers Took Over The WWE : Part 2

Hi Friends! I am back with Part 2 of my series about Scottish Wrestlers in WWE. If you haven’t read Part 1, please go check it out! This series of articles is being done in honor of Clash At The Castle. I’ll be featuring two members and the leader of the NXT stable , Meta Four , Noam Dar for this part!

Noam Dar was born on July 28,1993 in Be’er Ya’akov , Israel. He moved to Scotland as a child and was raised in Ayr. Dar made his professional wrestling debut in 2008 and his WWE debut in 2016 as a participant in the Cruiserweight Classic. He also was a part of the TNA Roster and participated in their British Bootcamp series. Dar is a two time ICW Zero-G Champion and a one time World Heavyweight Champion for the same company. While in ICW, his biggest win would be against Drew Galloway for a number one contender spot for the ICW World Heavyweight Championship. Dar has also won championships in British Championship Wrestling ( BCW ) , One Pro Wrestling ( 1PW ) , Preston City Wrestling ( PCW) and Progress Wrestling. He was also a member of the Ring of Honor roster before coming to WWE. He is a three time winner of the NXT Heritage Cup and the leader of Meta-Four , a stable he formed with Oro Mensah, Lash Legend, and Jakara Jackson.

The Coffey Brothers

Joe Coffey was born on May 22, 1988 in Glasgow Scotland. He made his wrestling debut in 2009 and made his WWE Debut in 2018 in NXT UK. Coffey is a two time ICW World Heavyweight Champion and a one time Zero-G Champion for the promotion , one time Discovery Wrestling Y Champion, winner of the 2017 PWE Rumble , two time SWA Heavyweight Champion , two time Laird of The Ring champion, one time Target Wrestling Champion, W3L Tag Team Champion alongside his brother, Mark, and a one time Wrestlezone Undisputed Champion. Mark Coffey was born on February 13,1990 in Glasgow , Scotland . He made his wrestling debut in 2010 and his WWE debut in 2018 in NXT UK alongside his brother. He is a three time ICW Zero-G Champion and a four time tag team champion alongside Jackie Polo for the promotion. He is a one time PWE Tag Team Champion alongside Jackie Polo, one time SWA Heavyweight Champion, two time SWA Tag Team Champion alongside his brother , two time Target Wrestling Tag Team Champion once with his brother , and the 3WL Tag Championships with Jackie Polo. He has also won the NXT Heritage Cup , NXT UK Tag Championship and NXT Tag Team Championship alongside Wolfgang.

Fun Fact: Both Coffey Brothers were trained by Finn Balor.

My Final Thoughts:

I found it pretty cool that Finn Balor trained the Coffey Brothers. I wish that there would be a PLE for NXT in Scotland as there is for the main roster. I think that these guys are great in the ring . I am also enjoying Noam’s work with Meta Four. I think he’s hilarious. I’ll probably have parts 3 and 4 up later .
