The Mercedes' porpoising isn't "back" it was never gone they said so repeatedly after Barcelona but nobody ever listens for some reason

On the one hand I doubt Lewis himself, knowing how competitive and involved he is, is willing to make the car even slower to save his back.
On the other hand it shouldn't even be up for discussion.

Seriously???? That's not okay that's so not okay! The porpoising needs to be adressed! These images are terrifying.

From what I read, Checo in interviews after the race asked Russell if he could feel his feet after the race, so I believe they sometimes lose sensation in a certain part of the body
Yep I heard when he asked that and you're right it seems to confirm it. I also have enough medical knowledge to say it's plausible (but not enough to know if it really is it) .
It's very worrying really.

What the hell is Lewis talking about with his cold seat?

Was Lewis' radio about the seat going cold about him losing his sensations? I thought about it at the time but I don't wanna start rumours.

I seriously don't understand what is going on at Mercedes at this point. They made so little progress since the start of the season and the whole thing is so incompatible with their know-how and resources. Very confusing.
We've seen porpoising doesn't necessarily equal bad performance and teams with less experience seem to have a better understanding of their cars than they do, porpoising or not.
The inconsistency is so weird. Every time they get on track it's a different problem.
I can't wrap my head around it. I have a hard time believing it's a hundred different little things I feel like they would have figured some of them at this point if it was the case.
I'm no engineer but I keep getting back to the fact that maybe the no sidepods design needs to go at this point. They may at least have better control of the car that way and be able to make progress in one steady direction not this fucking chaos that we're seeing rn...
