At 28 months, Maxwell has continued to surprise and occasionally provide us with lots of laughs....possibly the deepest belly laughs ever. Aside from a now emerging love of Thomas the Tank Engine and Peppa Pig, Max loves playing with cards and naming the number and suit for us. He also cannot go anywhere without his toy guitar and is currently taking requests. And watch his reaction if we even mention the “p” word (aka: Park)! Slides & swings always a must when we go. On the food end, we also have found that when Max requests “cookie”, he clearly means black and white cookies. There can be no other way as a love for chocolate has finally emerged! Max, we always love watching you grow and start to become more of your own person. Today I am 28months clean from selfharm and I just want to die lol

I was tagged by @wittyclitty - what 5 things make me gleeful/happy.

1. Our 28month old granddaughter. She is so funny and loving. She melts your heart when she hugs you and she can make you smile on the darkest of days.

2. Our daughter. I’m so proud of her. She is a key worker and has worked hard throughout the pandemic. Constantly learning, taking the exams and pushing herself. And most of all being a fantastic mum.

3. My wife. A key worker, working throughout the pandemic and when it was allowed, looking after her father too. 3 ladies in my life that give me purpose and joy

4. Friendship. Without friends life would be very dull indeed. This friendship has lasted the test of time and COVID-19. We have been friends for over 25 years and have many common interests. We have kept in touch throughout the pandemic with weekly texts that are enough to lighten the heart and put a smile on your face.

5. Reading. I’m at my happiest when it’s all quiet - just got a brew on and settled down with a good Horror novel. James Herbert and Graham Masterton are my two favourite authors of the genre.

Then placed a bowl of cotton near to it! 😃 🌦 As an Alternative to Contact paper, several stripes of Clear tape can be placed on shapes cut portion, in such way the sticky side is up.
