Okay. You won me over with trans Sora headcanons. I too headcanon he is trans. I'm even writing a kingdom hearts fanfic with trans Sora. I was a bit hesitant to do it at first. I still get worries since I'm not actually trans. But now it feels great. After doing homework on the topic and having trans friends, it feels great to go through with the headcanon. Sora says trans rights!
Yesssss!! Don't feel bad Anon. When I initially thought about trans Sora HCs, I still thought i was cis. And even if you aren't trans you can honestly still enjoy the HCs of course! Hope I stumble across your fic when I'm browsing when you get around to posting it 👀
Hmm, I guess as someone who's NB and having Sora as my only comfort character, it probably would make sense that I enjoy the HC of him as a trans dude! But anyways yes! Sora said Trans Rights 💗💙💗💙

called from his mother’s womb...
is a point that Paul relates to in the beginning of his Letter of Galatians as Today’s reading of the Scriptures:
I, Paul, and my companions in faith here, send greetings to the Galatian churches. My authority for writing to you does not come from any popular vote of the people, nor does it come through the appointment of some human higher-up. It comes directly from Jesus the Messiah and God the Father, who raised him from the dead. I’m God-commissioned. So I greet you with the great words, grace and peace! We know the meaning of those words because Jesus Christ rescued us from this evil world we’re in by offering himself as a sacrifice for our sins. God’s plan is that we all experience that rescue. Glory to God forever! Oh, yes!
[The Message]
I can’t believe your fickleness—how easily you have turned traitor to him who called you by the grace of Christ by embracing a variant message! It is not a minor variation, you know; it is completely other, an alien message, a no-message, a lie about God. Those who are provoking this agitation among you are turning the Message of Christ on its head. Let me be blunt: If one of us—even if an angel from heaven!—were to preach something other than what we preached originally, let him be cursed. I said it once; I’ll say it again: If anyone, regardless of reputation or credentials, preaches something other than what you received originally, let him be cursed.
Do you think I speak this strongly in order to manipulate crowds? Or curry favor with God? Or get popular applause? If my goal was popularity, I wouldn’t bother being Christ’s slave. Know this—I am most emphatic here, friends—this great Message I delivered to you is not mere human optimism. I didn’t receive it through the traditions, and I wasn’t taught it in some school. I got it straight from God, received the Message directly from Jesus Christ.
I’m sure that you’ve heard the story of my earlier life when I lived in the Jewish way. In those days I went all out in persecuting God’s church. I was systematically destroying it. I was so enthusiastic about the traditions of my ancestors that I advanced head and shoulders above my peers in my career. Even then God had designs on me. Why, when I was still in my mother’s womb he chose and called me out of sheer generosity! Now he has intervened and revealed his Son to me so that I might joyfully tell non-Jews about him.
Immediately after my calling—without consulting anyone around me and without going up to Jerusalem to confer with those who were apostles long before I was—I got away to Arabia. Later I returned to Damascus, but it was three years before I went up to Jerusalem to compare stories with Peter. I was there only fifteen days—but what days they were! Except for our Master’s brother James, I saw no other apostles. (I’m telling you the absolute truth in this.)
Then I began my ministry in the regions of Syria and Cilicia. After all that time and activity I was still unknown by face among the Christian churches in Judea. There was only this report: “That man who once persecuted us is now preaching the very message he used to try to destroy.” Their response was to recognize and worship God because of me!
The Letter of Galatians, Chapter 1 (The Message)
and we see Joseph in the act of reconciling with his brothers in the paired chapter 43 of the book of Genesis, of which is a mirroring of the alphabetic number 43 of the word “book”
[Genesis 43]
The famine got worse. When they had eaten all the food they had brought back from Egypt, their father said, “Go back and get some more food.”
But Judah said, “The man warned us most emphatically, ‘You won’t so much as see my face if you don’t have your brother with you.’ If you’re ready to release our brother to go with us, we’ll go down and get you food. But if you’re not ready, we aren’t going. What would be the use? The man told us, ‘You won’t so much as see my face if you don’t have your brother with you.’”
Israel said, “Why are you making my life so difficult! Why did you ever tell the man you had another brother?”
They said, “The man pressed us hard, asking pointed questions about our family: ‘Is your father alive? Do you have another brother?’ So we answered his questions. How did we know that he’d say, ‘Bring your brother here’?”
Judah pushed his father Israel. “Let the boy go; I’ll take charge of him. Let us go and be on our way—if we don’t get going, we’re all going to starve to death—we and you and our children, too! I’ll take full responsibility for his safety; it’s my life on the line for his. If I don’t bring him back safe and sound, I’m the guilty one; I’ll take all the blame. If we had gone ahead in the first place instead of procrastinating like this, we could have been there and back twice over.”
Their father Israel gave in. “If it has to be, it has to be. But do this: stuff your packs with the finest products from the land you can find and take them to the man as gifts—some balm and honey, some spices and perfumes, some pistachios and almonds. And take plenty of money—pay back double what was returned to your sacks; that might have been a mistake. Take your brother and get going. Go back to the man. And may The Strong God give you grace in that man’s eyes so that he’ll send back your other brother along with Benjamin. For me, nothing’s left; I’ve lost everything.”
The men took the gifts, double the money, and Benjamin. They lost no time in getting to Egypt and meeting Joseph. When Joseph saw that they had Benjamin with them, he told his house steward, “Take these men into the house and make them at home. Butcher an animal and prepare a meal; these men are going to eat with me at noon.”
The steward did what Joseph had said and took them inside. But they became anxious when they were brought into Joseph’s home, thinking, “It’s the money; he thinks we ran off with the money on our first trip down here. And now he’s got us where he wants us—he’s going to turn us into slaves and confiscate our donkeys.”
So they went up to Joseph’s house steward and talked to him in the doorway. They said, “Listen, master. We came down here one other time to buy food. On our way home, the first night out we opened our bags and found our money at the mouth of the bag—the exact amount we’d paid. We’ve brought it all back and have plenty more to buy more food with. We have no idea who put the money in our bags.”
The steward said, “Everything’s in order. Don’t worry. Your God and the God of your father must have given you a bonus. I was paid in full.” And with that, he presented Simeon to them.
He then took them inside Joseph’s house and made them comfortable—gave them water to wash their feet and saw to the feeding of their donkeys. The brothers spread out their gifts as they waited for Joseph to show up at noon—they had been told that they were to have dinner with him.
When Joseph got home, they presented him with the gifts they had brought and bowed respectfully before him.
Joseph welcomed them and said, “And your old father whom you mentioned to me, how is he? Is he still alive?”
They said, “Yes—your servant our father is quite well, very much alive.” And they again bowed respectfully before him.
Then Joseph picked out his brother Benjamin, his own mother’s son. He asked, “And is this your youngest brother that you told me about?” Then he said, “God be gracious to you, my son.”
Deeply moved on seeing his brother and about to burst into tears, Joseph hurried out into another room and had a good cry. Then he washed his face, got a grip on himself, and said, “Let’s eat.”
Joseph was served at his private table, the brothers off by themselves and the Egyptians off by themselves (Egyptians won’t eat at the same table with Hebrews; it’s repulsive to them). The brothers were seated facing Joseph, arranged in order of their age, from the oldest to the youngest. They looked at one another wide-eyed, wondering what would happen next. When the brothers’ plates were served from Joseph’s table, Benjamin’s plate came piled high, far more so than his brothers. And so the brothers feasted with Joseph, drinking freely.

Why doesn't sora ever use the hood on his sweatshirt?
Pffft i mean, if we wanna be literal, I'm guessing it's because it would hard-ish to animate in-game and getting the game's collision detection to behave itself between his clothes and his hair. I'm no 3d model expert though. I could be ENTIRELY wrong.
Now in a a joking sense, it's probably just there bc hoodies are "cool" lol
Though there is official art by Nomura where he has it up.

can there be a brother bear world in kingdom hearts?
As much as I think it would be cool, since alot of the post ice age scenery of Brother Bear is flat out gorgeous, I know it probably wouldn't happen (that is to say if they even made anymore kh) since Brother Bear is kind of a black sheep amongst Disney movies. Plus, incorporating heartless would probably be a bit odd, as it's mostly about Kenai becoming a better person and learning how his actions have consequences, as opposed to fighting a big evil villain. But damn, I do think it would be hella cool if I ever saw the transformation scene in a KH game.

How many hard hours to make a digital drawing?
Hmm, depends on the picture!
Tumblr media
Something like this took me maybe an hour or so.
Tumblr media
Now something like this took only probably 20 or 30 minutes
Tumblr media
Now something like this can take me anywhere from maybe 4 to 6 hours? Give or take. I usually have to take a break too or I'll go to sleep and finish it the next day.

Tell me your 5 paragraph thoughts on kh3 Kairi
Ohhoho we're opening THAT can of worms
I'd like to get this right out of the way, but I enjoy SoKai. So if I get some stupid ass response saying that my opinions are flawed because I'm a SoRiku stan (because i KNOW someone will try to use that as some kind of argument when in reality, it serves no fucking purpose to what im about to say), then I will shit a rock.
Alright y'all I like Kairi. She didn't really do anything bad at all. But I'm sorry, I really do just get mad everytime I see Kh3 Kairi oof. They really just took her, threw her under the bus, and ran her over multiple times. I like Kh1 Kairi, I stan Kh2 Kairi and I STAN kh2 manga!Kairi. Kh3 Kairi??? No gucci ...
Biggest problem I have is how they build her up to do some important shit, only for her to be barely present and then to be promptly executed with no hassel. This ties in a bit with how they tell the story, perspective wise but I'll get to that in a second.
Ok so, Kh3 honestly wants me to buy that Kairi keeps Sora together while he's shattered in the Final World. Ok my problem with this shit is that it's a classic case of Told, Not Shown. And no, i don't want to hear "oh but she's been his light throughout the series." No, I want some fucking substance from kh3 itself, not have to rely on past, stale substance from previous games. Give me more hints that she's supposed to be his light or something. Not a singular 1 minute cutscene of them sharing some dumb fucking fruit. I really felt they should have included Riku in that scene btw and it could have been a platonic gesture for all 3 of them being ... oh i don't know ... FRIENDS??? Something Kh3 seems to forget. Ideally, I wish there wasn't any romantic subtext in KH tbh. It absolutely did not need any of it and it feels like it just detracts from KH's already awesomely stupid over arcing plot.
Back to what I was getting on. Kh3 has shown to tell its narrative from different POVs sometimes. It's kinda limited POV, but a different focus none the less. So that being said ... Why not make some kind of segment focusing on Kairi? One where we see her view on things. One where we are SHOWN that she's keeping Sora in tact in the Final World? But no, I have to be told this and take it at face value while they're in some weird tunnel thing and they have a "omg sokai moment!"
Ugh, don't get me started on the bullshit one shot death they give Kairi. You know what would have been more interesting??? To see her struggle against Xehanort. To see her try to fight him. She would still ultimately lose and thus, forge Xehanort's key regardless, but some kind of struggle would have made it a clash of light vs darkness that was actually worth a damn, rather than something to just drive Sora's teenage angst. It would have been INTERESTING.
Anyways, the entirety of the Keyblade Graveyard left me pissed and absolutely burnt out.
HOOO BOY did that satisfy enough, anon? Anyways TLDR Kh3 is probably the hollowest story I've ever had the misfortune of experiencing and Kairi only fuels the fire to it. The game was fun! The story and writing though ..... uh oh sisters...
