Rainclouds approaching over salt lakes in the Coorong, South Australia. Mounds in the second image are probably stromatolites!! Though the ones in WA are better known they are also present in other salt lakes such as in this region and Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park

I got out of bed and took my beautiful dog for a sunrise walk and she only wanted to sample the complimentary salad bar

ever since i experienced a heatwave in france a few years ago ive been genuinely scared of summer

#it was an ongoing streak of days 35C+#i think it lasted pretty much almost 2 weeks #the nights were above 20 as well #and i remember once we went on a walk past 21 o clock already #the heat dome effect was so crazy in that city i only made it for maybe 10-15 minutes and i nearly fainted #my ex just took me under his arm and we walked like this back to the room where the only thing that was somehow saving me was sitting #in front of the fan spraying water all over myself #i cant even describe what happened to my body #i think it was my naturally low blood pressure going to absolute hell low level #my ears clogged my eyes got so blurry i didnt see anything head was dizzy heartbeat shot through the roof #i went completely white skin clammy #and that feeling like you cant breathe because the air was so hot humid and felt like everything stood still #i could barely move through it #one of the worst moments of my life hands down #hell on earth type of conditions and i despise these new summers that are the reality even in poland now #i could stand -30C because you can wear proper clothes and even go outside if you need to #but this weather #the only thing that saves you from this type of heat is ac and most people in this country dont even have one i think #this fucking weather feels like it WILL kill you #and make you suffer terribly before it does #p
