                the sound of the HACKER yelling warning after warning in her earpiece was promptly ignored as the assassin moved in the shadow. like a beast having gotten a scent of the BLOOD she had been so thirsty for — she could not be stopped. it was rare to catch him alone, after all, how could she miss this opportunity to actually FIGHT him instead of the men he had surrounded him at all times, even though she had to dispose some of those in the process.

                the TRAP was carefully placed, the shock running through her frame brought the star beast to her knees, coupled with another substance she could've sworn was poison of some kind. it did hurt at first, before that pain numbed into something akin to paralysis. it was like being stung by a jellyfish. and now, she was on her knees, muscles twitching but unable to MOVE.

                the blood from getting on her tongue, and the BEAST lifted her golden eyes towards the man who was her target. jade, was it ? she didn't care for names so much, but the sounds of his heels clicking against the pavement told her the shoes were expensive. italian-made, perhaps. so she got the right one. the head.

                and she smiled.

                finally, someone who might actually be able to kill her.

                " you want to break me ? do it. give me the pain. make me feel alive, won't you ? " there was no fear in those twisted gold, instead, something PRIMAL and animalistic had taken hold of it. they looked nothing like human, that HUNGER to feel, the eagerness to bleed more. the crimson liquid coiling tighter in her veins, pumping through her entire body. she could move, finally, just to bare her fangs like a HUNTER that she was.

                like a weapon that she was.

                she lifted her head enough to have the gun rest right between her eyes. no fear of DEATH, no fear of torture. let the blood warm her skin the same way the burning sun inside of her had scorched her entirety. her veins were glowing gold. dimly, but surely.

                " make the scars deep enough to last. you're at least capable of that, are you not ? "

─「エデン」─  let's just say, the TRAILBLAZER certainly wasn't expecting a full length analysis on a question that was nothing more than a simple joke aimed to get a confused face from the former head of the oak family, yet, that was exactly what they gave her. also, was it bad that half way through the said explanation, she was already lost ? whether it was from guilt or regret, one would never know, but eden did force herself to pay attention until they finished. golden hues blinked once, then twice.

                " people don't tell you jokes often, do they ? " it wasn't exactly a question needing an answer, yet she said them anyway. " it's interesting how you could think so seriously on such a topic. most people would've given me a weird look for asking alone. " the said most people were the whole ASTRAL EXPRESS CREW, but they didn't need to know that ! " i was planning to ask if you eat the fish, would you inherit their sin but i'll spare you of that. ─「银月」─  soft. he was always so soft and loving with her, she noted. a certain reaction to her making kitty eyes at him that earned her a SHOWER of affection that was accepted wholeheartedly. a nuzzle into his hold, the feline-rover rubbed her soft head against his chin in a purr before leaning back. GOLD meeting his unique hues before she leaned in to give a little kitty kiss to his lips. cat chu.

─「银月」─  the yin-nyan certainly was in bliss with the tender touch, meanwhile the ROVER herself couldn't help closing her eyes. she wasn't usually the one of the receiving end where pats were concerned, but when it comes to him, she found that she didn't mind it at all. it was more pleasant than she thought.
