Wifton stood in the training room off to the side, near the ropes station. He shoved his hand into his pocket, twirling a nut of a nail in his fingers. This was his token for the games he'd found in his pocket, a reminder of his little projects from back home. He had hopes of becoming a mechanic, before they were crushed. For him, it represented himself, separated from where it belonged. He sighed, knowing he needed to get training.

Pebble Bracelet Token
Tumblr media
The bracelet was woven by Bri's father. He hardly ever has time for her or money, even though he tries. For her eleventh birthday he bought the twine and made it for her. She learned how to do it herself soon after, but always kept it with her. When she got better at weaving, mostly grass, weeds, and leftover grain stalks, she would thread in a little stones or pieces of unsharp glass with twine her father had left over. Most were put in on important day, or special memories. Even though the stones are all found in the forest, she normal finds them in the river and wants each to be beautiful and match the others. Bri doesn't remember what they all mean, but whenever she feels down she can remember all the happy memories. She still has about a quarter of space on the band left. Even though the reaping wasn't a happy day, Bri's dad brought her another pebble, bigger than the others to thread in as a goodbye present. In order for the gamemakers to accept it she threaded the extra twine on the inside of it to hide it, she didn't know if they would let her take in more than one thing.
