In February, when I was at a French Conversation Hour, someone kept calling me and everyone is like “you should answer it” (I NEVER answer the phone if I don’t know the number by the way). So by the 4th call, I answered it, put it on speaker, said “bonjour”, and started speaking in French and acting like I didn’t speak any English (just in case it was a scam or something). After a few moments of worry and confusion she says “I have a package from Amazon…is this [my name]?” Then I start apologizing like crazy, everyone bursts out laughing, then I go to meet her at the Student Center to pick up my package and apologize some more (because mail services were closed and I ordered one day delivery). I explained that I was in a French club and never answer unknown numbers. I hope I gave her a fun story to tell her coworkers lol

TL;DR I answered an unknown number speaking in French in case it was a scam, turns out it was an Amazon employee with my package and I made her worried that I didn’t speak English

One of them was the day where my uncle and I went out into the woods nearby my grandmothers house and the farmer who owns the land had dumped all this old trash at the top of this hill (and I mean old metal shit) and we found a bunch of glass bottles and decided to throw them down the hill at the creek at the bottom and we just spent the day breaking bottles on rocks and wandering around outside. He showed me how to ear cat tails too in case I ever got lost in the woods. Good times I love the sound of breaking glass because of it. 2. Current favorite song? Every year for the past few years I go to my grandmas house on my dads side of the family for thanksgiving and my moms side of the family kidnaps me for the day after thanksgiving and bring me to an event called Lights on the Lake, where you drive through this set up of LED lights shaped like santa and all this other holiday related shit and listen to Christmas music, and while the actual thing is lame and never changes, every year we go and get hotdogs at a hotdog stand and go to the event and then go to this small little convenient store which has a bizarre collection of alcohol and then we head to their place and play board games until I go back to my dads side of the family. The best part though is the fact that there aren't enough seats in my aunts jeep, so my uncle (the same one as before) and I cram into the trunk area where there are no seats and we ride back there usually facing backwards and i can see the lights on the interstate flying by and it's such a comforting environment for me. It feels free but supported and I like climbing in and out of the back of the jeep and just being. It's nice. 5. If you could be friends with any one of your characters, who would it be? There's so many holy fuck uh shit most of them would probably make me angry. Maybe daemon? 6. Dream home? Don't really have one. Something small. Somewhere I can create artwork peacefully. 7.
