I think 5 year jump would ruin the show... I remember when PLL had it's time jump and everyone was excited and #5yearsforward was trending but when the time jump actually happened for me it ruined the show, we missed so much character development and important plot points. I also didn't like the last Harry Potter and the Cursed Child book, cause I didn't enjoy seeing Harry as this boring adult... I hope they're not gonna go there
