Indian Sweets are simple , flavourful and delicious. Deepavali/Diwali is the time to indulge your family and friends with sweets and snacks. And home made sweets and snacks just makes the occasion even more memorable 💖💖 Many of you might have doubts whether you will be able to achieve the right consistency while preparing  sweets at home , especially burfi/cake. Today, I am going to share an easy recipe that can be prepared even by amateur cooks and it does not require too much ingredients or too much time. Also, there is no necessity to make separate sugar syrup, so no need to worry about sugar syrup consistency, etc.,  My Mother In Law and me made this sweet last year for Diwali and it had become a huge hit in many of your homes too . We have been making this sweet for more than two decades, so you can follow the recipe blindly. You can adjust the sugar quantity according to your taste . This Mysore Pak look alike is another easy sweet you can try this Diwali . To make , 1. Heat a heavy bottom kadai and lightly roast 1 cup of besan/ chickpea flour 2. Add 1 cup milk, 1 cup grated coconut 3 cups sugar and keep mixing. 3. Once sugar melts , add 1 cup ghee and keep stirring over medium flame . 4. Add powdered cardamom and keep stirring till the mixture thickens and starts to leave the sides of the pan . 5. Pour it into the greased tray and after 5 minutes, use a sharp , well greased knife to make cuts of desired shapes. 6. Once cooled fully, remove the burfi and store it in an air tight container . Easy and yum !
