The 7-Skin Method 💦

In Korean skin care, “skin” means toner. This method of applying toner or a lightweight essence 7 times in a row to the face has become super popular lately. Essentially, it provides deep hydration to the skin, which is perfect for oily and dehydrated skin types. 

All healthy skin has a balance of water and oil. Oily skin types have plenty of oil, but often not enough water. The dehydration makes the skin think, “I need to produce more oil, because I’m dry!” When the skin is balanced with water, then the production of oil decreases. 

This method should leave you with glowy, healthier skin!

7 times is not often necessary. I’ve personally found that 3-4 times is enough, however I am dry, not necessarily dehydrated. Some oily types find that this method leaves the skin comfortable enough that they don’t need moisturizer during the day. Though, I would advise to make sure you apply some oil based moisturizer at least at night.

Don’t use toners that contain alcohol or are heavy in astringents. DON’T USE ACID TONERS. Use a hydrating toner for this method.

I first discovered this complexion perfecting toner from Mamonde last summer and enjoyed its dual refreshing + mattifying effect. The next #skincare method I came across last year is the #7skinmethod This method requires you to layer your toner and pat it on your skin 7 times. It increases the moisture level of your #skin thereby leaving skin hydrated throughout the day. Super cinta sama packagingnya, terlihat fancy walaupun botolnya plastik 😍 •• COSRX aha/bha Treatment Toner Ini pertama kalinya pakai exfoliating toner, dan menurut info yang aku dapat, untuk membiasakan kulit wajah yang belum pernah terkena acid, kita perlu menggunakan exfo toner yang kandungan asamnya cukup rendah. So yea, aha bha di cosrx ini kalau tidak salah hanya 0,1% ya masing2nya (fyi, pixi glow 5%). Jadi toner ini aman buat dipake daily. 💃🏻 bentuk botolnya spray, jadi gak perlu takut kebanyakan karna spraynya gak yg nyebar gimana2 gitu, fokus ke satu arah aja.
