yippee askbox open. anyways abatina and anemone botanical asks for uhûrosh
abatina: is there anything your muse has changed their mind about over time (or due to becoming more educated on the topic, certain experiences, etc.), or that they would change their mind about under certain circumstances?
I think there is something that Uhûrosh changed its mind on, or wanted to, but was proven ... wrong, in a way. This ties into the second question, but it grew up within a Sith family - it is Sith in just about every way except that it cannot use the Force, which then precluded it from actually being Sith in the ways that matter in the Empire. So it grew up with the idea that the Sith are absolute, they are the most powerful, they are the only creatures of any substance that truly matter, and can have any degree of actual freedom. It was akin to more of a family dog than a child; its twin, Tsariah, Sith in every way, took pretty much all of their hate and resentment on it because it was the only safe target - their eldest sister, Aiyos, and chosen heir to the Otoyuir powerbase (because I have headcanons about inheritance in Sith families because unless you crack the code to defying Death, you will die one day, you might as well decide who will inherit everything you built) was older than them and would be within her rights to defend herself. Even though having a Force-blind Sith child is generally seen as a blight among traditionalist Sith families, Uhûrosh was seen of such little consequence it wasn't even worth expending the effort.
Then, after their parents "mysteriously" died early, and Aiyos took control of the house and Tsariah was sold into slavery, Uhûrosh was kept. Because it was safe. Because it could be made into a weapon against everyone Aiyos pointed it at - but never at herself, because how could Uhûrosh survive, outside the grace of the Sith?
Long story short - Uhûrosh got a different perspective in Imperial Intelligence. For a little while. For a little while, it was in the Imperial world, where most people had never interfaced directly with a Sith, if they'd even seen one up close. The rules were completely different. It had personhood. It could operate on its own judgment, and though there was still someone giving orders, there was little Sith oversight.
And then, well, then there's Darth Jadus. And then after Jadus, there is the Dark Council ordering the Castellan restraints, and then after that, Imperial Intelligence is dissolved and eventually replaced by Sith Intelligence, and Uhûrosh walks out of those experiences back where it started. There is no place anyone can go within the Empire where the Sith do not have absolute authority.
anemone: how does your muse view the world; as a cruel & unforgiving place, a land full of wonders, or something in-between? where does that world view come from (what experiences, life lessons, etc.)?
I've sort of answered this question, at least part of its worldview. To expand on the other points:
Ultimately, Uhûrosh sees the world as being governed by Rules. I use the metaphor of "the game" a lot for my agents, but it's even more true for Rosh, because "the game" that, say, Cecil refers to is about The Job, the rules of engagement of being a spy for the Empire. "The Game" for Uhûrosh is its entire life.
The Sith are absolute. The Sith are above the law because they write the law, and they write themselves out of it. There is a separate law for Sith versus the rest of the Empire - the Sith have license to slaughter each other over perceived slights. Everyone else has to pick up the pieces. Uhûrosh does not see this as a betrayal of the rules or "a couple bad apples" - it knows, intimately, that this is the way Sith work. Remember, it's Sith itself. Except it isn't. But it is. But is it?
The other key to how Uhûrosh understands the world is through power. True to its upbringing, it understands just about everything in terms of Power. Power, of course, comes in many forms. Power is information, it's a strong personality, it's physical strength, it's a skillset, and so on. But power is the key and mechanism for survival. Those without power - who have been stripped of all possibility of attaining power - are locked into eternal cycles of scrambling for whatever refuse is left on the carcass after those with all of the power have finished with it.
Uhûrosh does not attach values to power, and how much 'power' an individual has. Frankly, it doesn't really attach moral value to most things. But it does not see those without power as "weak" and those with power as "strong". Power is a resource, and like money or food, it can be hoarded, it can be taken away.
Its twin is immensely powerful in the Force. By all definitions, Tsariah is strong. But Aiyos had more power, more privilege, and had the authority to sell them. To kick them down to the lowest rung of Imperial society. And Aiyos was given that power, really, because she was the firstborn. Not for any personal merits, not for strength alone (though she certainly doesn't lack that, clearly)
But considering all of this, though it most definitely sounds cruel (and familiar) to you and me, it's... not really to Uhûrosh. Again, it doesn't attach moral value to much. All that I've landed on so far is that it really has a dislike for those who try to avoid (what it perceives as) the natural consequences of their actions. To Uhûrosh, it's simply - the way it is. It won't say natural. The Empire was made, after all, by people. But the Sith Empire exists because of the Sith. There has never been anything else but this, and this Game. It doesn't think of the Sith and life in the Empire as natural, but it does see it as immutable. If it were to change - it wouldn't be the Empire anymore.

Adding to this because it's common here in india too. Refer to textbooks. If the textbooks are too heavy, get a pdf print from your library if they allow it. If the textbooks are too expensive, use that pdf to print out relevant info. Look for articles on Google scholar because they will be there. Look at research magazines. Don't be afraid to use the internet to take the first few steps.
And please, for the love of God.
WRITE YOUR FUCKING NOTES. I'd say type them out but I do that in situations where the time crunch is low. Write them. You're not going to be typing your exam papers out so you NEED that practice. Take down notes during lectures. Considering American colleges are a little more lenient with phone usage during classes, record your lectures if you don't feel up for it. Ask your teachers for their presentations. Ask fucking questions.
That being said, most people in med and allied medicals will also need clinical experience and pretty strict exams to pass. People leaning on chatgpt won't make it through due to the very nature of how the schooling here works. Hell I live in India to boot and we are REALLY strict with the criteria, given that neet was a fucking thing.
I'm more pissed off at the ai more in line because it completely omits and it overall unhelpful in our schooling. Don't use it, you WILL be failed, and you will fail miserably. I have classmates who quit and had to spend thousands of rupees for retests just to get to the next semester.
ur future nurse is using chapgpt to glide thru school u better take care of urself
