lies down in the dirt. honestly the more i think abt glenns arc the more i start to really REALLY like and appreciate it. freddies a goddamn genius
#especially as i do my relisten of s1 like#dont get me wrong i still dont Like certain aspects of it. the thing w/ morgan only being alive with jodie is unnecessary and just cruel#and i kind of agree that it fucks nicks characterization but not reeealllyyy? i think we get a good amount w/ watermice but he is defo the#least fleshed out of all the kids#but like i dunno! i think my initial reaction is bc character arcs i enjoy are rly explosive and Dramatic and theres an Obvious change#but glenns is super subtle. its slow. he doesnt SHOW his hurt but you can still see it. its a little tragic. i like it a lot#mayyybbee him reconnecting w/ nick shouldve happened sooner imo but! i like it. its a GENUINELY rly good arc#i think the fact that s2 exists and we get to see life carried on for glenn and he could still find ways to live on helps a lot tbh#its the little things. him desperately wanting nick to think hes cool. all of the nick jr stuff. he gives away his own wellbeing for his#sons. the notebook of all the bad days hes had. the genuine regret at ditching the dads w/ the water mice.#its Subtle and being someone who likes explosive drama itd fun to see it be less so but. the way it is works i think!#ALSO ALL THE COOL METAL DEMONS N SHIT IS JUST SO FUN.
