could I request a platonic angst but with fluff long one-shot about David (from Camp Camp) with a 13-year-old fem!reader that is "forgotten" by her family?

"I-I don't need them... I don't need family" the reader trying to hold back her tears while seeing that no one of her family came for the visit day.

"Well, maybe I can be your family ¿How does that sound?" David giving her a big hug while trying to comfort her.

"that sounds... pretty good actually..." the reader accepting the hug and hiding her face in his chest while crying-screamig.

"Don't worry (insert the nickname you prefer), I'm gonna give you the love you deserve" David ruffling her hair while she holds onto him for dear life.

Parents' Day wasn't going the way David had planned. One of the reasons for this was you. You were one of the few older kids who were at the camp. You were thirteen years old and for all the time that you were in the camp, your parents never wrote you a single letter. He was sure that they were busy and that they would definitely come for parents' Day. But it didn't happen. Your parents didn't come with the other parents and you clearly doubted that they would come at all. At first you tried to be calm. You said you didn't care, but you ended up going somewhere. David was very worried about you, so he went looking for you. You were hiding by the lake and crying. When David came up to you, he felt his heart tighten painfully. He felt sorry for you.

"(Y/N)..."

"What do you need, David?"

You tried to hold back your sobs, but you were having a hard time.

"Are you upset about your parents?.. I'm sure they're just busy and couldn't come..."

"I don't care... I don't need them... I don't need a family..."

You sobbed again and David sat down next to you.

"Don't say that, I'm sure..."

"Enough David! They don't care about me! If they could, they would just throw me away as unnecessary trash!"

David was genuinely sorry for you. He understood that your parents really seemed to have forgotten about you, even though he tried to cheer you up. But now he couldn't lie to you anymore.

"Then maybe I'll be your family?"

His words surprised not only you but also him. But after a second, he was sure that his words were correct. He knew that you deserved the love and care that your parents didn't give you. David expected you to get angry or say it was a stupid idea, but instead you spoke softly.

"It sounds... It actually sounds pretty good..."

David had to restrain his emotions with all his might not to scream with joy. He hugged you and a second later he felt you grab his T-shirt and cry again, but not from grief, but rather from relief. He gently patted your hair and spoke again with a gentle smile.

"Don't worry, Little Star, I'll give you the love you deserve..."

You held onto his T-shirt tightly, unable to let him go. You knew David wasn't the one to cheat. Maybe he wasn't your blood relative, but he was someone who could really become a real family for you.

as someone who does a lot of art i even imagine being with him and bokuto, talking about tattoo ideas, drawing them, showing them and getting their feedback

bokuto's over there like "GWAH! WOW!" and just fawning over the ideas loudly, then keiji just sits and smiles, thinking they'd be good to place in the book customers browse through for impulsive requests, giving the side of his darling's head a kiss and saying "thank you, love"

then the idea of him having piercings (a lip one especially oh my god, maybe on the side of his lone dimple) and earrings makes me 💓💓💓
