When you meet someone nice and realizes just know that they're an extreme vegan that shames people and does not put triggers on animal violence in their stories... Yeah :')
#I hate people like that#I think veganism as a concept as a good idea#But I believe in consuming locally and dismantling abusive industries#Not reject anything and everything that involves animal products#Especially since it's not all black and white : agriculture eats up A LOT of space sometimes more than raising animals#Quinoa + soja + certain oils farms are super destructive and is almost always imported from other countries#Synthetic leather and fur is. fucking plastic 90% of the time. And the fake leather that isn't is not affordable and does not measure#to the quality of real leather#AND MOST IMPORTANTLY : WE THE COMMON PEOPLE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PLANET DYING#IT'S INDUSTRIES THAT GENERATE 80% OF ALL CO2 REJECTED#THAT PUSH MASS CONSUMPTION AND KILLS SMALL BUSINESSES/SHOPS/FARMS#AND DELOCALISE THEIR BUSINESS TO EXPLOIT POORER COUNTRIES#Veganism is not inherently bad. But you're not going to fix the world by refusing to eat meat.#Do we eat too much meat? Fuck yes we do! And shitty meat at that!#But Veganism is expensive. Veganism is not always good for the environment. Veganism is a very urban diet that is not suitable for everyone#Anyway don't eat animal products if you want and disagree if people eat meat#But showing animal violence without triggers IS NOT OKAY and Veganism is not a perfect universal diet.
