So I created this “code” system to help identify different characters attributes
Basically, you just take a character, and each attribute is associated with a letter or number
Here’s the formula
Element/Weapon/Nation/model type/rarity
Long post
“U” is universally “unknown”
Element- 10 categories
Pyro
Cryo
Electro
Anemo
Hydro
Geo
Dendro
Adaptable (represented by “T” for travelers)
Dainsleif’s element (represented by “K” for Khaenri’ah
Weapon- six categories (more information below)
Sword
Polearm
Bow
Claymore (represented by “G” for great sword)
Distance catalyst (represented by “D” for distance)
Chain catalyst (represented by “C” for chain)
Nation- 10 categories (more information below)
Mondstadt
Liyue
Inazuma
Sumeru
Fontaine
Natlan
Snezhnaya
Kheanri’ah
Celestia
Outland
Model type (more information below)
Short Male
Short Female
Tall Male
Tall Female
Loli
Notes
Weapon-
If you notice, there are two types of catalysts, both in weapon design, and in catalyst characters skill sets. Sucrose and Barbara can hide behind a wall and still attack an enemy on the other side of the wall. These are distance catalyst because they can fight without seeing the enemy.
However, Lisa or Yanfei have to have a clear path to attack. It’s similar to bow characters. These are “chain” catalyst because they create a “chain” of their respective elements.
I usually pair book catalysts with chain skill sets because the book catalysts usually match or work with chain skills. Klee (a chain catalyst) has a book catalyst designed for her, and it provides attack bonuses for Ningguang’s and Yanfei’s (both chain) skill sets, though this doesn’t necessarily matter
If we know the character is a catalyst, but we don’t know which skill set they have, then their code is “c” for catalyst, and because they come with books when you first pull them
Nation-
Nation is somewhat subjective. For example, Thoma is from Mondstadt, but he has an inazuman vision. I usually classify them as the case of their visions. Archons count toward their own nation and not Celestia, the Celestia catagory is for potential future characters
Model-
Before you yell at me, I’m calling the model “loli” because their animation sets are named “loli” so just roll with it
Model types are the only attribute that has 2 letters, referring to height and gender. These model types refer to animation sets, including sitting, swimming, and even weapon pose (though this is also affected by weapon)
Loli is the only one that’s represented by one letter than two because their height and gender are already accounted for
Star rank/rarity
If we don’t know the rarity, they get a 0
Code examples
I realize this could be confusing so I’ll put a few characters codes down for example. (it’s funny, Barbara and Mona almost have the same code. The only difference is their rarity)
