Look not to be "You younglings have it easy" but everyone of those people wanting the Nuanced™ and Sensical™ Plot™ in the 2nd episode of the show would not have survived 90's/00's/10's cartoons
#those cartoons would have The most random bullshit ever and consist of characters doing whatever the fuck they want#These people would not survive Indian soap operas either#Some of the most random bullshit followed by the same plotlines using the flattest characters with liberal use of slideshow animations#This shit would go on to have thousands of episodes. Just absolute maddness#Still remember that one show that started with a woman getting gaslit into thinking the guy with her is her husband#and her real husband doesnt exist. Except it turns out this was all the part of her plan into getting into the family#And the real husband was a paid actor?? And was blackmailing but may have gotten killed??#And the show ends with her dying and haunting the house as a ghost but than she is alive again through power of love or some shit#Absolutely wild.
