Venture Arts

I have decided to go with the venture arts brief option 3 which is to create a quirky new campaign to create awareness and fundraising for the charity.

When the Venture Arts representative came into to discuss venture arts and what they demanded off us as designers. I felt this was the right brief path way for me to take as apposed to the Sonic MCR brief. Venture arts also appealed to me as the whole idea of Venture arts is to help with confidence and well being of people with learning difficulties and disabilities. Venture Arts provides a positive space for Learning disabled people and gives them an opportunity to express them selves and produce great art. They work with all ages and each workshop helps each individual and takes them on there own path to gain confidence in achieving a great piece of art that they have hand crafted and learnt to do themselves by the volunteer tutors at Venture Art. As teaching is  something I am seriously considering after my degree and I am looking to apply to do a Secondary PGCE course in Graphic design I feel this brief I will also gain experience from when focusing on the volunteering side and actually getting stuck in with the people at Venture arts. I feel this is an excellent opportunity to contact Venture arts and actually get a chance to take a look around and maybe take part and volunteer in the workshops helping the disabled learners. This will not only help me gain experience in teaching but also help me gather first hand what Venture Arts are all about and will help me further my ideas to create a quirky campaign to create awareness and fundraising.
