pavitir x reader cuddle hc🛐
Lovebug? No, Cuddlebug.
“Your hands are so warm.”
Pavitr x Gn!Reader
Tumblr media
my baby pavitr is the most bright ray of sunshine
You: Pink
Pavitr: Orange
(i’ve used Hindi for endearments, as in Hindi Pavitr Prabhakar means “Pure Light Maker.”)
This man will squeeze you and not let go
he is an avid “hug until he cant breathe” advocate
will let you crush his bones if you wanted
he loves the feeling of another person around him
doesn’t matter if your lying on top of him, or he’s on you.
sometimes he grabs you and presses against your back, drapes his arms over your shoulders and kind of flops there.
his fav hug types are 1 and 4 (predominately four tho)
“You doing okay there, Pav?”
“Thithli, my body is worn. Please hold me.”
Tumblr media
He will let you suffocate him if you so pleased
and absolutely adores when you try and crush him
squeeze as much as possible
literally try as hard as you can, he loves the lingering feeling of you on him
but if you get hurt if he squeezes too hard
he cries
he straight up sobs
he’s apologising profusely and not letting you tell him it’s okay
“Pav baby, it’s okay.”
“No! Don’t forgive me,” *sniffle* “,I hurt you!”
“I’m not even hurt, Do I look hurt?”
“..”
“C’mere.”
*sobs*
Now when it comes to cuddles??
this man is a god send
he’ll come back home to you after a day of spidering
lay you down and strip himself of his suit and gear
and will give you the best massage of your fucking life
and you know he’s good at it 2
you’ve seen how dexterous he is with his webs
he knows what he’s doin
his love language is touch and words of affirmation so you can imagine how that goes
“Doing so good for me, Shonu.”
“Just relax, your doing great.”
“Mm, relaxed, jus’ wan’ cuddle you.”
“We can cuddle after, need you comfy.”
He even goes shopping sometimes just to get you massage oils
the ones that smell nice
they remind him of you, okay? leave him alone
he loves u
“Baby, what are these?”
“They’re massage oils! I’m thinking maybe we should get a massage table too, we can make the whole set up.”
“Why are there so many?”
“I chose the ones that smelt most like you.”
“…You think I smell like vanilla cinnamon?”
“Yeah—“ *kiss*
“Oh! Awe, love you too.”
“Hmmph”
Now comes the cuddles,
once he’s finished he’ll put everything away and lay down next to you
your basically deadweight at this point
like you feel like jelly
will snuggle up against you
loves putting his head on your chest, or your stomach
he likes feeling like he’s worshipping you
when you’re almost asleep, he’ll lay down next to you
will wrap his arms around your waist and drag your body over his
will fix your limbs so your basically buried in him
put your arms around his neck, your head tucked under his chin
let you move around as much as you want
you’re uncomfy this way? okay, he’ll move his leg
your arms are dead, bring em down baby
“Pav.. My hand is dead.”
“Oh! Thithli, am I laying on it?”
“Mm.. Felt good at first. Now it’s dead.”
“Move it here, honey, c’mon.”
“Your hands are so warm!”
“You were warmin’ ‘em up.”
All with a smile on his face
he loves sleepy you
it’s knowing how much you trust him that brings him to his knees
how vulnerable you can be with him that has him swooning in his hopeless romanticism
sings to you sometimes
only when your asleep
when he’s still up, maybe thinking about spider things
or even just school
he gives you a little hum
you don’t even know how much you love it
or subconsciously love it
it’s such a nice feeling to lay on his rumbling chest
like your being lulled into a deeper sleep
eventually falls asleep with you, and will probably wake up half way off the bed with you clinging onto him
bonus!!
THREAD UR HANDS THROUGH HIS HAIR!!!!! MANS WILL MELT I KNOW IT
losing my mind hes so fucking cute hes so adorable he’s so baby

i was suppose to do some work today to try na ifigure out ang mga bagay bagay na di ko gaano magawa within office hours. eto ata yung first attempt ko na mag uwi ng trabaho this year kaso pagka open ko ng google sheet na ttrabahuhin ko, ginagawa na ata ni ate Beth. may iba pa naman sana akong pwedeng gawin din pero idk. hindi naman will o kasipagan ang wala pero parang nag ffly sa utak ko yung mga naisip kong task, plus yung exhaustion pag nakikita ang screen. parang overwhelmed agad ako.
kakaligo ko lang at this time, and naisip ko nalang di na ata talaga mag wwork sa akin ang pag uuwi ng trabaho. kulang na kulang ang weekend sa pahinga, even personal things- I also thought of doing errands, I ought to do ng eh I cant find the energy to do. pero siguro kung pagkaka kitaan yan gigisingan ko talaga ng maaga. thing is, this could also be a time to try na maghanap ng part-time job pero mukang tablet yung kailangan ko. hahaha. tbh kino kontra ko sarili ko at sinasabi na making excuses lang ako to buy a tablet pero hindi eh. parang yung purpose talaga sa akin ng gadgets, factor yung task na gusto ko gawin. especially that:
a. im using a budget phone. less than 10k range in particular. for me contacts lang talaga ito and a little socmed.
b. inuuwi ko lang yung work laptop (di ko pa din okay lappy ko)
weekends like this just make me wanna ask how to live a life ba. i mean yung slow days, not necessarily nasa labas pero productive. i cant even be productive in taking care of myself, can't even update this blog the way I want to!!
we are trying to advocate that rest is productive, yes, pero gusto ko din ng iba pang klase ng rest bukod sa pag higa lang.

February Reading Round Up! In reverse chronological order of finishing
Reinventing Revolution: New Social Movements and the Socialist Tradition in India by Gail Omvedt
Been meaning to read for a long long time, was serendiptiously a reading groups' choice and on my tumblr dash. Very good, detailed tour of movements that have complicated "class first" - caste, gender, peasant, tribal and their evolution theoretically and historically. Enjoyed how obviously socialist and critical Omvedt is of regressive trends and fair to the demands of popular organising that trouble us. I made so many notes, and intend to revist her perspective later when I've studied more. Where I was familiar with secondary literature like, caste I think she did an excellent job illustrating the limitations and need for Ambedakrite movements.
The Final Question by Chattopadhyay, Sarat Chandra
Bengali literature written in dialogue with the anti colonial movement's understanding of the new role of the Indian woman, this book is angry in the best way. Something very Dostoyevsky like in the arguments between the characters, but, instead of a religious worldview you have a deeply modern, materialist worldview being sharply advocated for against revanchist cultural trends in the novel's heroine Kamal. It holds up really well for a book in 1936, and its tenderness in handling every character's hopes and despair is deeply touching.
The Play Of Dolls Stories by Narain, Kunwar
Tumblr Mutual Book Club pick! Short Story collection by Hindi experimental poet and writer. Very evocative stories that have the best onion like layers of thematic interests. Oft satirical but never bleak, with the exception of the last story which felt like an odd addition to the set.
Her Body and Other Parties: Stories by Machado, Carmen Maria
Short Story collection as well, feminist and queer themes. I'd already read the Husband Stitch and was interested in what else the author could do, unfortunately not a lot more thematically. The stories are tightly written and gripping, only that they don't reveal much to me.
Dumb Luck by Vũ, Trọng Phụng
Tumblr Mutual Book Club pick as well. Relentlessly, satirically bleak, also colonial writing. This one is set in Vietnam when it was in French Indochina. Tetra said that every character is an antagonist and FR. Vicious, and a little too bleak for my taste, this is a more traditionalist critique of Vietnamese elite aping the French. The gender politics are absolutely bonkers, the translation I read does a pretty decent job of transferring the text's humor to modern idiom.
Vita & Virginia: A Double Life by Gristwood, Sarah
Biography of Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackwille-West, picked up on a whim because of my interest in Woolf's 'madness' and her romantic letters. Really enjoyed reading the complicated polyamorous love lives these literati had. Virginia's struggles with her illness are quite movingly portrayed. Illustrated with pictures of the beautiful homes and gardens the subjects spent their time in so fun for me! Enjoyed how conversant the author was with their literary output and its critical reception and impact. Made me want to finish reading my Woolf books.
The Stranger by Camus, Albert
I thought I'd like this more. The distanced narrator is very poorly executed, so the protagonist's redemption? revelations? towards the end of the novel kind of fell flat. Style over substance problem I think.
The Horizon (Sumer, #2) by Gautam Bhatia
Conclusion to The Wall, also one of those I wish I'd liked a lot more than I did. Very fast paced in its third act, well plotted but weakened by its repeated revelation of this character is ACTUALLY on this SIDE. Like, its done with every family member of the protagonist. Worldbuilding remains memorable if a bit predictable. Would make a better movie.
The Old Man and the Sea by Ernest Hemingway
Personally I love an old man vs a fish, even if it does not have the gay content Moby Dick promised. Excellent use of the novel for investigating the interiority of a man. It's been a short story kind of month I suppose.
Lady Chatterley's Lover by Lawrence, D.H.
I have already complained about how fascist this book is. Why does modern commentary elide on its very violent racism and sexism and homophobia? I don't think its erotic worldview offers much to not fascist post sex liberation readers lol.
The Idiot by Batuman, Elif
Sorry. Girl at Harvard was not compelling as expected, but I did get a lot from the third act where the protagonist confronts her love interest for real - honest writing that doesn't shy away from difficult conversations.
The Master and Margarita by Bulgakov, Mikhail
Stalin era Soviet satire (its a month for it!) Very conversant with Faust, which I had not read so that I think diminished my understanding of the book. Absurd, very Christian and very funny about the comedic aspects of Soviet life. Loved the ending, almost Tolkein like in its hope for pretty broken characters.
The World in a Grain of Sand: Postcolonial Literature and Radical Universalism by Majumdar, Nivedita
Postcolonial Lit: The Takedown. Incisive, excellent, gave me a lot of books I want to try that the author points to as bucking the trend of compliance to particularist, oft parochial and usually defeatist understandings that dominate the genre.
Giovanni's Room by James Baldwin
also Bookclub pick. Devastating. Very effective use of the limited POV to illustrate the way shame damns love. Every few pages wrecked me. Tight and sparing with characterisation + description, but delirious with how emotionally close you ride with the protagonist. Best book I have read in a while.

history.
the firstborn was not supposed to be the last born. the emperor and empress, after struggling to have a child, viewed kaito's birth as a sign that the tides were turning; their empire would be blessed in the coming years. however, years would continue passing and despite the royal couple trying, there would be no other children, no spare; the entire future of the toshiko dynasty would remain kai's alone.
the emperor and empress doted upon their only child, often sending away the court lady tasked with watching over him so they could do so themself. some of kaito's earliest memories were sitting with his father in meetings with court officials and walking in the gardens with his mother and her ladies. whatever he needed or wanted, his parents ensured he had it, inviting the best scholars from around the world to the imperial palace to tutor him in all subjects. they were, understandably, extremely protective as well. however, he wasn't confined to the royal palace. on the rare occasions he got sick, no matter how minor, they'd hover. however, kaito wasn't confined to the royal palace, allowed to venture beyond its walls so long as he was accompanied by guards, who were a staple around the heir even in the palace. it was a clear order that all in the imperial palace must prioritize above all else: nothing could happen to kaito.
under different circumstances, being spoiled as he was might've altered his demeanor but japan never existed without clouds hovering overhead, a fact kaito learned quickly from shadowing his father. how could he selfishly focus on himself when the people were in need? he prioritized making frequent visits to the people, albeit always accompanied by guards, and speaking with them, which eventually led to working alongside them, particularly in times of trouble. when famine struck, kaito helped the local officials hand out rations and worked alongside farmers to devise new plans for crops. when they were attacked, kaito fought on the frontlines. illness proved more difficult, the sole time his parents refused to let him leave the palace but it didn't stop kaito from doing what he could in kyoto to help.
he joined the military as soon as he was old enough, rising up the ranks quickly and gaining the respect of the other soldiers. it was the one time in his entire life where he didn't feel like the imperial heir; he was only kaito, a soldier like the one beside him - so long as he ignored the sworn guard constantly shadowing him. for the most part people did once they realized kaito wouldn't reprimand them for forgetting his title
kaito balanced his time between the army and the imperial palace for a few years but eventually imperial duties took precedent, and he returned to the palace full time. there he resumed his role as his father's shadow. where the emperor went, so too did kaito, learning through observations, taking on more responsibilities himself, and gradually voicing his own strategies, evne if they didn't align with his father's initial judgements. he was quiet, a man of few words, but he still proved himself capable more and more with each day.
no amount of preparation could've prepared him for the sudden loss of not one but both of his parents overnight. in an instance his entire world shifted. the title of emperor bestowed upon him many, many years before he thought it would. kaito secretly didn't feel ready. the murderer hadn't only robbed him of his parents but the two people who he could rely on without question, who possessed a wealth of information born from experience. but the fate of japan rested in his hands, which meant he couldn't show any weakness. he wouldn't. they might be gone from this world, but his parents were still watching over him, and he would make them proud.
arc o1.
kaito arrived at lal qila wearing emperor robes that still felt too big but determined to prove himself in spite of his immense grief. as initial tensions swept through the palace following the memoriam ball, he maintained a low profile, containing his personal dislike over how the sharmas chose to "honor" the fallen, and focused on helping the investigation where he could, getting to know the abdul sultana his late father had been considering betrothing him to, and strengthening his friendship with the german monarch, who kaito's father and now kaito had been secretly funding.
all the progress he'd made was threatened when secrets were spilled, revealing the german-japan alliance and with it, japan's mistrust of china. questions surrounding the abduls and their involvement in the murders also made kaito more hesitant to move forward with his betrothal to dilara. despite the growing mistrust, he did extend asylum to the newly exiled princess kai-ming of china, in part hoping it would dissuade any retaliation from china.
timeskip.
despite japan escaping the reckoning unharmed, with the exception of a personal betrayal when he learned that his closest friend had secretly been carrying on a relationship with a chinese army captain and kaito beginning to battle with frequent nightmares, he knew it was only a matter of time before someone, china his mind would whisper, would strike. secretly, the emperor focused on building up japan's armed forces, both military and naval, refusing to be caught unprepared. a decision that paid off when chinese ships were spotted on the horizon. the war all in japan had been anticipating for years had finally arrived.
only japan didn't stand alone or afraid. with their german allies ( who japan was still providing finances to ) supporting them, the nation rallied under kaito's rule and fought back against the larger empire, proving it was not a kingdom's size but it's heart and will that won the day. kaito fought alongside his people during the war, and while he escaped unharmed physically, his mind did not. the horrors of the recent months came to a crescendo. the young emperor began experiencing more severe symptoms of ptsd, but carefully hid it away. japan was finally being looked upon as a respectable nation, he would not let his own weakness shatter that image.
kaito arrives in ethiopia eager for peace and to further show japan's strength and gain other foreign allies. he also intends to formally announce his betrothal to dilara abdul, who had rushed to his side when the war had broken out and remained there throughout it, offering both council and comfort. his mind might still be healing but for the first time in a while, kaito has begun remembering what happiness might feel like. he only hopes it lasts.
headcanons.
kaito is a quiet person in general but particularly around people he doesn't know well. very much someone who prefers to listen and observe before speaking. some might misinterpret his reserved nature as meloncholic, and recently it is true, while others recognize the quiet confidence the emperor possess. around those he's close to, however, he becomes more animated and social.
has a huge heart. once kaito cares for someone, he cares for them deeply but there are few he cares for more than the people of japan. his biggest goal is to be a good emperor for his people, which is why through the years he's prioritized working alongside them rather than shutting himself away as if he's some god or figurehead.
unbeknownst to kaito, the japanese people have given him the monikor of 黄金竜 ( golden dragon ) due to his character.
considered one of the, if not the, best fighter in japan. he's trained since the day he was given his first wooden sword and his skills only grew over time, particularly during his time in the army. the late rulers brought top swordsmen and swordswomen to train him in the art of fighting. while he can wield a variety of weapons, his weapon of choice is the katana. over the years, kaito began specializing in fighting with two swords; one of the ones he wields was passed down to him by his father.
traveled frequently prior to becoming emperor. mainly for diplomatic visits with his father but occasionally on his own too.
the proud owner of two akitas, a boy and a girl. the dog breed has always been a staple of the imperial family - a sign of their nobility. kaito was given his first dog to raise when he was young. when that one passed of old age, he began raising one of two he currently owns. a year later, he brought home the second one. they are now four and three years old respectively. kaito adores them and they are very protective of him, often staying nearby .
his battle with his insecurity is mainly fueled by the sudden loss of his parents. he always admired his father, appreciated his guidance, and felt like there was much more to learn from him before he became emperor himself. now he cannot. deep down he knows he can be the emperor japan needs but quieting the doubts are easier said than done.

Venus completes its orbit in 222 days
Venus completes its orbit in 222 days
With this complete rotation, will the temperature of Venus always remain 460 degrees Celsius?
Yes, Venus's average surface temperature of 460 degrees Celsius remains consistent over time. This is due to a number of factors, including:
Greenhouse effect
Venus's atmosphere is made up of a dense layer of carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide gas, which traps sunlight and prevents it from radiating into space.
Rotation
Venus spins backwards on its axis, taking 243 Earth days to complete one rotation. This means that the sun rises in the west and sets in the east, and the nights are just as warm as the days.
Clouds
Venus's clouds reflect a large portion of the light that hits them back into space
The temperature at the surface of Venus is very high (737 K=474 °C) and hardly varies from the sunlit side to the night side. The temperature of the ground is close to 460 °C. The temperature profile between 0 and 100 kilometres is noticeably different from that of the Earth (see illustration).
What would it be like to stand on the surface of Venus?
The Planetary Society
https://www.planetary.org › Articles
11 Apr 2023
The extreme and deadly conditions on the surface of Venus make it an unlikely place for human exploration, since even the most advanced space suits wouldn’t be able to completely protect astronauts. Robotic spacecraft would fare better, since they can be made from very durable materials and don’t need to breathe. But even robots have had a hard time exploring the surface of Venus in the past.
Only a handful of spacecraft have successfully operated on the Venusian surface, although many more have tried and failed due to various technical problems and the harsh conditions on Venus. Even the successful missions were only able to operate for hours at most before being destroyed by the planet’s extreme conditions. That’s why there are so few pictures of the surface of Venus.
Future missions to Venus will mainly study it from orbit, where the conditions are much more favorable. High above the planet, spacecraft can peer down through the atmosphere without having to contend with its influence. NASA’s proposed VERITAS mission aims to map the Venusian surface from orbit, achieving higher resolution than ever before. From afar, it could help us understand the surface of Venus better than any robotic lander or human mission. This mission, which could revolutionize our understanding of this hostile but fascinating world, is facing an indefinite delay due to budget cuts and needs the support of space advocates like you.

On the Eve of Ukraine Visit, PM Modi Emphasises 'This Is Not the Time for War' in Poland
In a significant diplomatic move, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Poland, reiterated his stance on the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, emphasising that "this is not the time for war." This statement comes just ahead of his planned visit to Ukraine, where the conflict has been ongoing since Russia's invasion in February 2022. The Prime Minister’s message, delivered in Warsaw, highlights India’s consistent call for peace and diplomacy amidst the escalating tensions in Eastern Europe.
Prime Minister Modi's visit to Poland is part of a larger European tour aimed at strengthening ties with key European nations while addressing pressing global issues such as the Ukraine crisis. His message in Poland is a continuation of the position India has maintained since the beginning of the conflict: the need for dialogue and the resolution of disputes through peaceful means. India has consistently urged all parties involved to engage in negotiations and has abstained from voting on UN resolutions condemning Russia, maintaining a neutral stance that seeks to balance its relationships with both Russia and Western nations.
During his address in Warsaw, Modi underscored the devastating impact of the conflict on the global economy, particularly in developing countries. He pointed out that the war has led to rising food and energy prices, disrupting supply chains and exacerbating inflation worldwide. Modi emphasised that the world is still recovering from the economic shocks of the COVID-19 pandemic, and a prolonged conflict would only deepen these challenges.
The Prime Minister also highlighted India's efforts to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine, including the dispatch of medical supplies and relief materials. He reiterated India's commitment to supporting peace initiatives and working with international partners to find a resolution to the crisis. Modi's message is expected to resonate during his upcoming visit to Ukraine, where he is likely to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other top officials.
Modi’s stance is seen as a diplomatic balancing act, reflecting India’s strategic interests and its role as a key player on the global stage. As a nation with deep ties to both Russia and the West, India has sought to mediate rather than take sides, advocating for a return to peace and stability in the region. His call from Poland, urging an end to hostilities, reinforces India’s position as a proponent of peace and dialogue, and sets the tone for his discussions in Ukraine. Tumblr media

familial ties.
father: the late emperor of japan. mother: the late empress of japan. siblings: none. extended family: suzume sō-toshiko , cousin. a handful of other cousins. pets: two akitas , sora and haru.
history.
the firstborn was not supposed to be the last born. the emperor and empress, after struggling to have a child, viewed kaito's birth as a sign that the tides were turning; their empire would be blessed in the coming years. however, years would continue passing and despite the royal couple trying, there would be no other children, no spare; the entire future of the toshiko dynasty would remain kai's alone.
the emperor and empress doted upon their only child, often sending away the court lady tasked with watching over him so they could do so themself. some of kaito's earliest memories were sitting with his father in meetings with court officials and walking in the gardens with his mother and her ladies. whatever he needed or wanted, his parents ensured he had it, inviting the best scholars from around the world to the imperial palace to tutor him in all subjects. they were, understandably, extremely protective as well. however, he wasn't confined to the royal palace. on the rare occasions he got sick, no matter how minor, they'd hover. however, kaito wasn't confined to the royal palace, allowed to venture beyond its walls so long as he was accompanied by guards, who were a staple around the heir even in the palace. it was a clear order that all in the imperial palace must prioritize above all else: nothing could happen to kaito.
under different circumstances, being spoiled as he was might've altered his demeanor but japan never existed without clouds hovering overhead, a fact kaito learned quickly from shadowing his father. how could he selfishly focus on himself when the people were in need? he prioritized making frequent visits to the people, albeit always accompanied by guards, and speaking with them, which eventually led to working alongside them, particularly in times of trouble. when famine struck, kaito helped the local officials hand out rations and worked alongside farmers to devise new plans for crops. when they were attacked, kaito fought on the frontlines. illness proved more difficult, the sole time his parents refused to let him leave the palace but it didn't stop kaito from doing what he could in kyoto to help.
he joined the military as soon as he was old enough, rising up the ranks quickly and gaining the respect of the other soldiers. it was the one time in his entire life where he didn't feel like the imperial heir; he was only kaito, a soldier like the one beside him - so long as he ignored the sworn guard constantly shadowing him. for the most part people did once they realized kaito wouldn't reprimand them for forgetting his title
kaito balanced his time between the army and the imperial palace for a few years but eventually imperial duties took precedent, and he returned to the palace full time. there he resumed his role as his father's shadow. where the emperor went, so too did kaito, learning through observations, taking on more responsibilities himself, and gradually voicing his own strategies, evne if they didn't align with his father's initial judgements. he was quiet, a man of few words, but he still proved himself capable more and more with each day.
no amount of preparation could've prepared him for the sudden loss of not one but both of his parents overnight. in an instance his entire world shifted. the title of emperor bestowed upon him many, many years before he thought it would. kaito secretly didn't feel ready. the murderer hadn't only robbed him of his parents but the two people who he could rely on without question, who possessed a wealth of information born from experience. but the fate of japan rested in his hands, which meant he couldn't show any weakness. he wouldn't. they might be gone from this world, but his parents were still watching over him, and he would make them proud.
headcanons.
kaito is a quiet person in general but particularly around people he doesn't know well. very much someone who prefers to listen and observe before speaking. some might misinterpret his reserved nature as meloncholic, and recently it is true, while others recognize the quiet confidence the emperor possess. around those he's close to, however, he becomes more animated and social.
has a huge heart. once kaito cares for someone, he cares for them deeply but there are few he cares for more than the people of japan. his biggest goal is to be a good emperor for his people, which is why through the years he's prioritized working alongside them rather than shutting himself away as if he's some god or figurehead.
unbeknownst to kaito, the japanese people have given him the monikor of 黄金竜 ( golden dragon ) due to his character.
considered one of the, if not the, best fighter in japan. he's trained since the day he was given his first wooden sword and his skills only grew over time, particularly during his time in the army. the late rulers brought top swordsmen and swordswomen to train him in the art of fighting. while he can wield a variety of weapons, his weapon of choice is the katana. over the years, kaito began specializing in fighting with two swords; one of the ones he wields was passed down to him by his father.
traveled frequently prior to becoming emperor. mainly for diplomatic visits with his father but occasionally on his own too.
the proud owner of two akitas, a boy and a girl. the dog breed has always been a staple of the imperial family - a sign of their nobility. kaito was given his first dog to raise when he was young. when that one passed of old age, he began raising one of two he currently owns. a year later, he brought home the second one. they are now four and three years old respectively. kaito adores them and they are very protective of him, often staying nearby .
his battle with his insecurity is mainly fueled by the sudden loss of his parents. he always admired his father, appreciated his guidance, and felt like there was much more to learn from him before he became emperor himself. now he cannot. deep down he knows he can be the emperor japan needs but quieting the doubts are easier said than done.

Somatic Workout & Doom Scrolling
The excess body weight is not the culprit. The excess baggage is the trigger, the warning and the glimmer.
I've definitely lost a good amount of pandemic weight that started with a really, really bad fall that fucked my lower back so hard. I've also spiraled so much because I can't fathom a lockdown right after my first ever Osaka trip that is so euphoric. I knew that shit's gonna hit the pan, but I didn't expect it to immobilize and petrify me totally. Back then, I've been dealing with body dysmorphia which I chanced upon very later on, thanks to Boom Turing, Hindi Mo Akalain's sharing in S1 Drag Den.
I remember the first time I saw my really bad pandemic acne, too. It's the worst in history as I can't bear to look at my already unseen and unfelt reflection back in 2020. I vividly recall the first time I went to the HQ in RTO and felt like it's worse than high school acne, too.
From a decent almost glass skin and a size 6-12 depending on the fit and cut with a fat content (LOL) nearing 25%, I didn't just go back to ground zero. I hit the below zero mark. I am not vain even it seems like so. I just dress to express what I am and what I am not. This also depends on how crazy my anhedonia hits. The more vibrant my palette is, the louder the voices in my head sign and shriek with no surrender. I think my heaviest was at 88 going 89 kg. Yes. You got that right. My acne looked like scabs because I keep scratching them out of sheer boredom, frustration and of course, they're too itchy to begin with.
I didn't go back to biking, boxing, doing yoga and walking because I don't want to. I don't need to. I'm stuck in a rabbit hole that's way beyond unfathomable. Hearing really, really mean remarks have been part of the jokes thrown at me once the work clock strikes. Body shaming has not dulled my vibe, but, that era, I was actually the one body shaming me. As a body positivity advocate since Prep, this is really bad news. It's not about not fitting into my curated pieces. It's not about how much carbs I load. It's no longer about how much I weighed and how fucked up I looked.
It's just about me, only worst.
And that, is where I came face to face, blow by blow with excess baggage. Thanks to doom scrolling, I chanced upon somatic workout. Yes, there's magic about doom scrolling that's heavily cancelled across all biases. Doom scrolling is perceived as an escape. I say, yes and no. Yes, because it's a way to waste time, effortlessly, ZERO fucks and ZERO budget needed. No, because, it's a plea, a cry for help to move beyond ZERO fucks in this universe and even this lifetime and probably, the next one, too.
I've definitely cut down on my portions and vaped a lot as an orally fixated girly, but, hey! I am indulging again in a kinda well balanced diet. I have yet to get myself checked inside out, but, there's progress in cutting down portions while still enjoying carbs, butter, and a bit of sweets. The thing is, these days, I rarely enjoy sweets and can live on minimal carbs. HOWEVER, I can't live without butter and milk tea. It helps that my alcohol intake has been drastically declining because I am forced to do so. I still indulge at times, but, I can say that when I drink, I drink a lot; but not as much as before.
It's like riding a bike after months of hiatus. You test it out first, and run madly like there's no tomorrow. Glad to know that I'm in my slow and steady bike era. I guess, I've always been that way. Again, biking is divine in my book plus I have Vici with me in a good number of rides which are not that many. I would never ever gamify biking, just because I'd like to keep it unadulterated amidst so many tempting roads and alleys. I'm not saying that gamifying biking is bad. It's not. Not at all. Not ever. I said that it's how it's printed in my book, since I game a lot of things. A whole lot. LOL.
Also, another truth is that, I am noticing that my legs are getting bulkier when I ride hard. LOL. I think that's another valid reason because I don't train the right way, too. My knees are also weak since forever so I don't like jeopardizing my already defunct body.
Somatic workout are not yet gaining traction, but, it's on its way. I chanced upon earlier this year but, was really confused. I found it laughable to see women who cry while at it. A part of me was thinking that this is but another Bikram yoga statistic. Women who cry are easily objectified. Period. HUY. Ang aga-aga na naman, mhie. Sarap tulog e na dalisay e, kaya eto na naman tayo.
However, with the right reach and frequency of both sponsored and organic content pieces, I have learned to appreciate it. Funny how my first ever somatic workout is but a very basic bitch routine. How basic can this bitch get, really? It's just a series of steps where you have to find your spot where your clavicle and your arm meet. All you have to do is use your two fingers or your finger knobs to put a considerable pressure on it. It is said that this is where your sadness lies. I had to rewatch it over and over again. I think that was somewhere in H2 2023, the little big sniper shithead. So, I did. And damn. Damnation. Damdamin. I don't know if it's sorcery; but it felt real and raw. Bonus: The content creator was a basic guy who was walking outdoors. SIDE NOTE: Studies show that men are more likely to convince a crowd. That's the reason why the government, the church and even the corporate and start up world are teeming with men, men, men. Hay, men! However, when a woman stands at a pulpit, a board room and a grand stand, and turns the no to a solid yes, that's pure good shit. Think, Grace Greenleaf and Margaret Thatcher.
The somatic routines progressed to content pieces that involve lower back pain. It is said that a lot of women experience lower back pain because of pent up emotions. HUY. LUH. Of course, I found this more laughable. INAMO lower back pain. INAMO. The sets are quite simple as they have no equipment, no complicated combo and the like. I tried some of it, and damn, wild. I didn't have a cry fest yet, but, it may be reason why the past weeks, I've been drowning in my battle with CTRL + ALT + DEL emotions season. The feeling is both realistic and abstract. Hazy and vivid flashbacks come marching in. It's like opening a Pandora's box and trying my best to close it with all my might which is feeble but fighting.
These days, I still have a delulu sense at times when my reflection shows, who I am inside out. These days, though, I have my people, my tribe. Not too many, not too few. These days, while the night are darker and longer at times, I can say that I can simply crash into them, depending on what slant the spiral hits. I have people who I can say are dependable, consistent and weirdos, like me. People who judge others so badly, but are kind to me. People who look at me as their therapists even when I know I'm too unfiltered to a fault. People who check on me and give a fuck about my really outlandish pet peeves and indulgences. People who calm the perpetual 200kph overthinking me. People who laugh with me and at me sa mga kabobohan ko at katapangan ko kuno. People who never ever fail to egg me especially when they know that when I am silent, there's something really, really disturbing happening. In the same manner, people who nudge me hard when I am over the top --another sign that I'm stepping on the gas pedal because stepping on the break will shatter me. Sorry na agad. Ganun talaga ako e.
I have yet to do a full set of somatic workout because there's no turning back once I pop my aging core. It's giving Give Yourself Goosebumps meets Sweet Valley High meets Are You Afraid of the Dark meets Up meets WALL-E meets MMK and of course, Wowowee. Could I go there? Could we go there, for real?
The question is: Would I choose not to run away this time? Would I give in and go all the way? Would I allow myself to actually give me and the universe a really, really good try? Would I permit the very, very flawed world to hug the very, very flawed me back even when I have space invasion and trust issues? Would I for once, choose the choice I feel? Would I fucking let things be and let it happen? NP: Lo-fi Holidays Beats (LUH) which hit me an hour or so ago. Parang Sbucks PL na kalmado. As a scrooge, this is not bad. Not bad at all. Baka save ko na rin? LOL. Kakalat ng digital footprint na mas malala pa sa carbon footprint IRL. 'Yan tuloy. Nahi-hit tayo ng kung anu-anong paganaps na obviously, hindi random, kahit idaan mo pa sa matindeng laws and theories of stats. Need ko mag-digital detox soon. Sakto, holiday break as a scrooge. Hihihihihihihi.
