Aion Classic is the most ridiculously handled game EVER.

First of all, by “Classic” they really did mean “Untouched Reroll to the 13 years ago state of the game”. Yes, it means that the textures are outdated, none of the later introduced QoL stuffs exist, Songweaver and Oriel doesn’t even exist yet... even though I don’t see why they couldn’t be added. They just yeeted out a completely outdated game as it is. But well, that’s not even the real issue.

The real issue is the disgusting greediness which I’ve never ever seen before.

Sub systems are great. Sub systems mean you pay for something extra, something that comes ABOVE the normal gameplay, something to make your gaming easier and more rewarding.

In Aion Classic, you have to sub TO BE ABLE TO PLAY THE GAME NORMALLY.

I get it. Aion was initially only available only through monthly subs. But Aion Classic is a 13 year old game. It’s heavily outdated and doesn’t have as much to offer as it did in its peak. I understand it was sub based a decade ago. But in 2021? When there are hundreds of games you can play for completely free, which aren’t as outdated and badly handled as Aion Classic is?

Okay so, you can experience 1 hour of normal gameplay as of now. It is shared between all of your characters. Normal gameplay looks like this:

Once the 1h gameplay is over, XP gain gows down to 50%, item drops stop at Superior, and everything goes to “Disabled”. That’s right. No gathering. No crafting. No kinah drops. Nothing.

Isn’t it ridiculous that you need to BUY a BUFF that allows you NORMAL GAMEPLAY?

Usually in games you pay for something EXTRA. Not in Aion Classic. Here you pay to be able to just play the game. A 13 year old rerolled outdated game. How ridiculous that is? I’ve never seen anything like that before.

Oh yes, you can buy the “buff”. For only this much:

15$ for 30 days, for a decade old badly handled game? Really?

Well, if you’re like me and have no time for games, and even if you do, you play alone, I guess 1 hour is enough. But Aion is a competitive game based on war between two factions. Most people would play it a lot more.

This is horrible, and everyone who gave green light to this at NC should feel ashamed at themselves.

Being in quarantine, I started checking my folders for no apparent reason, and you know, I came across ‘Aion’. OMG… Viewing screenshots, I felt great nostalgia for those good old days.

Aion is one of the most beautiful computer games in the MMORPG genre that I have ever played. More precisely, this is my first game of this genre.

Server merges are scheduled for fall 2017. This is a work in progress FAQ to answer questions you may have regarding the merge and the process. Q: When are the server merges happening? Server merges are scheduled for fall 2017 after we release Aion 5.6. We will announce the date at least a month out in order to give everyone enough time to prepare. Q: What will happen to my name? Unfortunately, all names will be reset. After the merge, your character names will have the server abbreviation added to the end (for example: HimeSL). All characters will receive a Name Change ticket so they can reacquire their name on a first-come, first-served basis. We will work to mitigate cases of identity theft, so please avoid taking names that you have not used previously and do not take a name from another active player. We will have more information on Dos and Don’ts for names as well as how we will assist players who have their names stolen as we get closer to the merge date.

Q: What will happen to my Abyss Rank? We understand that there are GP discrepancies between servers, but we will not be resetting GP. We are exploring additional solutions to reduce the impact for servers with lower GP. Similar to character names, it will be first-come first-served. Brigade Generals will receive a Legion Name Change Ticket to reclaim their Legion name. We will work with Brigade Generals to claim names that were taken. Please do not claim an active legion name that you have not used. We will have a policy on how we will support players on reacquiring their Legion names as we get closer to the merge date. Q: I have opposing faction characters on the servers that are getting merged. What will happen to them? In advance of the server merges, we will open free server transfers to allow players to move their characters that may have faction conflictions after the merge. Players will be able to transfer off Beritra but not to Beritra. Players who do not move their characters during the free transfer period will have their characters automatically moved during server merges to prevent faction conflicts. We will not be able to assist players if they are automatically moved. Understandably the free server transfers may skew faction balances, and we will be monitoring the incoming and outgoing transfers to mitigate abuse. Q: Why are you merging the servers? It is important for us to maintain the health of the game, and part of that means ensuring there are enough players on each server so content can be properly enjoyed by everyone. Q: What should I do now that I know server merges are coming? Server merges are a big deal and will result in potentially significant changes that may directly and indirectly affect you, but we encourage you to continue to play Aion as normally as possible and keep informed through official sources about what changes are coming. We will continue to add and update the FAQ when we have more information so you can feel comfortable making the best decisions for your characters and experience. Do understand that before merges and after merges there will be disruptions to server economy and ranks. As we move past the server merges, we expect the economy and ranks to stabilize.

I’m a bit torn on this.  I’ve experienced 3 server merges since Aion was launched, and each never went as planned.  I’m a bit disappointed because I just started back playing again, but my legion may be all transferring to Siel.  Meh.  I have been through THAT plenty of times too.

There is no need to disagree. It is essential to aion classic kinah grind in order to play against experienced players. If you're looking to experience the progress and enjoy playing with other experienced players The current NA traditional pve is a great choice.

I am a veteran of first Aion and would like to get to know new players. I am a huge fan of the rifting system and find the pvp here more pleasurable than Warmode. While the game can be somewhat gruelling, it has seen a drastic reduction from its initial release. It shouldn't be a cause for concern. A great deal of fun pvp happens before you hit 50! I'm an inexperienced leveler, and while the competition to get the best equipment and abilities is crucial but I am enjoying the process. You can try it for a month. $15 per month is an affordable price. It is also possible to spend money playing the game, however, these aren't "if it's not possible then don't bother'.

It's all about the level of comfort you have with grinding. I would guess that you'd be fine playing Classic WoW. Classic was my most favorite Aion game of 2009. It should be thought of as a game that you buy and more like a MMO that you pay an annual subscription to. Don't pay to get daeva passes.

Siel is very popular. I've heard that it is hard to level due to the ganking. It's not that difficult to level up on the other server. If you have any queries you're looking for, please feel free to contact me.

In the month of March, I made the decision to give up the classic. It's not an enjoyable experience however, it is the sheer quantity of bots. It is difficult to enjoy the game with numerous bots around you. Goldsellers can be so irritating that NCsoft will not even bother to talk about it.

It's their decision. It's hard to imagine that I would increase my level of gathering and boosting others as I complete the Manduri quests in the event that I were cheating. I'm not going to blame you for not believing in me. I would not, either. But, I'm 100% honest. Shugo Console isn't even an item I'm using!

Then, someone finally explained to me the reason I was barred. Beware, people. The use of SteelRake and completing the HairPin quest could result in you being banned if you submit it repeatedly. That was exactly what I did with the LFG group that I was a part of. The idea was to take out the mobs, gather the 12 hairpins, and then head to the Shugo , and then turn into our quest. Then we would go back in Steel Rake and continue in the same manner. This is how I as well as most people did when the game first came out. I didn't realize this was an exploit! I emailed them back, asking if this was an exploit or an error from their side. It doesn't appear to be an exploit, however it appears to be deliberate. Be cautious when you use the hairpin search.

It's crazy. There were LFG groups that had posted for groups with hairpins. It's possible that a lot of buy aion classic kinah eu the banned players were not aware that this was a glitch. It wasn't that difficult to change the game. Instead of bans on 15 percent of their players, why not just make it right? Because I was busy with farming, I am glad that I did not join any of these groups.
