The entire time I could not help but picture AFO singing instead of Akio Ohtsuka.

i like the japanese ones a lot, i think akio ohtsuka for lysandre in pokémas was very big-brained of them and i hope we get more of him voicing lysandre in the future thanks to the game .. !

in general i'm not rly a big fan of lysandre's english voices. i think d.c. douglas in pokémas is the best one he's got ever tho. despite the fact that i hate how they have him pronounce "adieu" (so it rhymes with "you" i guess... i just don't like it... sorry.) i don't remember what sycamore's english VA sounds like in pokémas i'm sorry LOL i don't think i remember disliking it tho? it was fine.

i have no strong feelings about the other characters' voices... they're okay.

in french i feel like they keep getting guys who can't do deep enough voices for lysandre and still asking them to do deep voices. it's maddening. he always ends up sounding like he's constantly out of breath. i liked his french VA in pokémon evolutions tho. i think they picked a good one for this one and he doesn't sound like he's forcing it. and it's better than the one in pokémon generations, imo (he talks way too fast in that one ??? it's kind of endearing, i suppose...)

uhhhhhhhhhhhhh yeah as you can see in general lysandre is the only one i really have strong opinions about LMAO i just... don't really care about voices for characters in general to be honest. it's just not something i think about a lot. i think lysandre should get to have a deep voice tho <- the only thing that matters 2 me

but also, like? seeing yama’s bankai and some of the other animation choreography has me 100000% convinced they are going to nail kyoraku’s and that is literally the thing i’ve been looking forward to almost more than grimm himself, kuromatsu shinjuu is LEGITIMATELY one of the best parts of the entire manga for me and i cannot WAIT to see it animated, please please PLEASE akio ohtsuka fuck me up

idk, akio ohtsuka is a CLASSIC voice actor and his voice is amazing and all, and he does do the part of seth justice well, but...

michael mcconnohie, i suspect, knows seth’s character in and out. there’s something about the way he puts together all the nuances in their voice, all the vocal inflections of despair and dysphoria...the fact that he seems to make a motive rant in sfiv the ties that bind sound DEPRESSING instead of just pure evil. man. it’s like he understands seth is essentially, under all that bluster, an abused nonbinary “eldest child syndrome” sufferer

Bungo Stray Dogs Season 4 Anime Reveals Cast

The staff of the fourth anime season based on Kafka Asagiri and Sango Harukawa's Bungo Stray Dogs manga revealed on Tuesday three returning cast members for younger versions of characters. The staff also revealed a visual for the fourth season's first episode, which is based on "The Untold Origins of the Detective Agency," the series' third light novel volume. Manga Manhwa News

The new season premiered on Wednesday on the TOKYO MX channel, and it is also running on WOWOW, Sun TV, TV Aichi, KBS Kyoto, and BS11. The anime is streaming on the dAnime Store in Japan at the same time as Tokyo MX, and subsequently on other services in Japan. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan.

SCREEN mode perform the opening theme song "True Story." Luck Life perform the ending song "Shirushi/°C."

The first television anime adaptation aired from April to June 2016, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. The anime's second 12-episode series aired from October to December 2016, and Crunchyroll again streamed the series as it aired. Funimation and Crunchyroll released the series on home video with an English dub. The anime's third season premiered in April 2019, and Crunchyroll and Funimation both streamed the season.

An anime film titled Bungo Stray Dogs: Dead Apple opened in Japan in March 2018. Crunchyroll began streaming the film in September 2018, and Funimation began streaming the film in June 2019.

Yen Press is publishing the manga and novel series in English. The manga launched in Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine in December 2012 and is ongoing.
