serving up 5 and 11 for the tennis ask!
5. are you superstitious when it comes to tennis?
not really, except for not wanting to jinx players by saying stuff online sometimes haha
BUT on a related note, i do apparently have an aunt who used to be crazy superstitious about rafa back in the day. like i heard she would pray the rosary for him every match
11. do you support players from your own country? why/why not?
yes! so for some context in the philippines, we’re generally very big about national pride in sports (and in. literally anything) bc. we don’t get a lot of famous athletes or people in general skdhdkdjsk it’s nice to have international news talking abt us for something other than typhoons & shitty government 💀
in tennis, we have just one fairly good player right now. her name is alex eala and she won the junior uso in 2022 and graduated from the nadal academy!! anyway she’s still very young but i’m rooting for her always <3

11, 13, 15 for tennis asks ! :))
11) if you could change the outcome of any match in the past which would it be and why?
Easy: Roger vs. Djokovic Wimby final 2019. Rogi was sooooo close to winning another slam. HIS slam. And this was such a long match, it went on forever, push and pull and yeah. I suffered big time in this.
13) you can choose one atp and one wta player to go on a road trip with. who are they?
Ooh, nice question. Well definitely Iga for the ladies and damn, the choice is tough for the men but... how about Daniil? Could be fun 😄
15) a new player you would want to succeed in the future?
Does Arthur Fils count as new? Yeah, him. And like, the Rafa academy kids, Alex Eala for example.
Thanks so much for the ask! 🤗
