Steve Erceg made a great account of himself for a guy in his 4th UFC fight facing the best flyweight in the division. Really pieced up Pantoja on the feet in a way that basically nobody has since he fought like Figgy.

Just too many poor decisions. The obvious ones were the late takedown attempts. He thought Pantoja was fading and kept shooting only to have Pantoja force a scramble and end up on top. That's what sealed that final round for him. But even early on, he was good at defending takedowns until he kept putting himself into the fence. When this fight first got announced, I think my initial question was when Pantoja charges forward behind long combos, what does Erceg look like defending takedowns? And we saw that he backs up in straight lines to the fence where even when he didn't get immediately taken down, he had Pantoja on his hips controlling action. Still, a good performance from Erceg. The boxing and elbow skills are real, though not fully realized. He'll be back before too long. Just give him a 12-18 months.

As for Pantoja, he got another title defense. It wasn't pretty. It wasn't dominant. He didn't look like an elite technician but he made it work for him. After this, I really want to see him against Amir Albazi. Think that fight could be chaos.

Ele atendeu a um convite do Ministério Público de Santa Catarina, e mostrou os detalhes da obra que prevê a terceira faixa em ambos os lados, dando mais fluidez ao trânsito que por ali recebe 80 mil veículos por dia. A autorização dos trabalhos foi dada pelo governador Jorginho Mello no fim de julho.  O Governo do Estado vai investir R$ 73 milhões no projeto, que faz parte do Programa Estrada Boa. As obras vão se estender do km 12 ao 19 da rodovia, o trecho mais densamente urbanizado da SC-401. Serão 6,59 quilômetros de melhorias, como terceira faixa em ambos os lados, rua marginal direita com passeio de extensão de 1,66 km e rua marginal esquerda com passeio e ciclovia nas duas direções com extensão de 2,48 km. Rotatória No acesso ao Bairro Cacupé, no km 14, será implantada uma rotatória para instruir a saída do Bairro, propiciando o movimento mais seguro. A partir deste entroncamento haverá ruas marginais que receberão o fluxo local de moradores e do comércio existente. Viaduto No km 14 será implantado um viaduto no Bairro de Saco Grande para acessar a Rodovia Virgílio Várzea. A partir do km 16, a Rua marginal esquerda existente segue até o retorno projetado no KM 17 com passagem elevada. Curva após o shopping Aumento de raio da curva no km 18.
