hi pasta! I just wanted to say that i absolutely love the red thread! You have already written a whole ass novel and i feel like you’re not even halfway done yet (which is a plus obviously i am positively obsessed and im thinking about rereading it soon!). You have Matt’s characterization down to a literal T. Like i dont think i’ve ever read a fic that fit so perfectly with the character, kudos to you! (I gave kudos on ao3 and im so sad i can only give kudos once ☹️).

I only recently started watching daredevil/simping for matt, but im so glad you are singlehandedly keeping the fandom alive! I love, love, love it!

p.s. I was doing some research for a matt fic of my own and i was thinking about the ancient story of the minotaur in the labyrinth with — the red thread! I only then realized how much more meaning this symbolic thread has and how perfectly you made it into reader’s abilities!

AHHHHH OH MY GOD THE MINOTAUR AND THE THREAD, YESSSS! Idk how I didn't see that before, I LOVE Greek mythos and stories thank you xena-filled childhood and yeah, it fits PERFECTLY. As long as that thread is held, one can always find their way home, find their way free of any trap or maze, simply by following it back. I LOVE IT!
