A really underrated aspect of Spider-Man's origin is the search for Uncle Ben's killer. There's a small window of time where it looks like he's going to kill this man who murdered his father when he finds him. There's a spider on his back whispering "get him" and he's listening.

#There needs to be a story honoring the unsung character that is Peter Parker's stance on killing #It's so fluid. Way more fluid than what people think #He spares the life of Ben's murderer but also flings a bag of pumpkin bombs at Green Goblin in the heat of the moment #He avows no one around him gets to die meanwhile some years before he swore vengence on Kingpin on the chance his Aunt dies in the ICU #It's so human. Naturally we don't *want* anyone around us to die. Hopefully anyway. But everyone has their limit #And though he practices restraint everyday holding back his punches he still gets some form of gratification #From enacting violence on the bad guys seeing as he spent so much of his life being the weak one. It's insane #peter parker #spiderman
