I’m happy to announce that I’ll go get the new cotw volume (20) at my local library tomorrow :)

🦇 I’ll start posting spoilers tomorrow night 🦇

So I’ll just go over the usual predictions before!!!

Sooo… My predictions:

• Yohira’s prophecy turns out correct and Kivotos is destroyed and many lives are taken

• The Mud Whale sets for some new lands & some of the Kivotos’ residents come with them (if they are still alive)

• Orca’s return (c’mon man I can’t take it anymore)

• Leodari making an appearance too bc it’s been too long!!

• Orca & Leodari learning about the sinking of the Empire cause I assume the Emperor didn’t bother sharing the info & it’s gonna come off as a shock for them… Even if they have lots of sad memories it’s also a part of their childhood

• Deiktis & Paramesos come to Kivotos to fight (but where is Antikeiras?? I hope we can see him soon, he may be in charge of the fleets’ strategy & come by boat too)

• We learn what Chakuro and the Emperor’s connection is

• Chakuro & the Emperor fight w/ words in the dreamlike world I saw in the spoilers

• It is explained why the Emperor refers to the Mud Whale as ‘my Faleina’ & what his motivations for doing what he does are

• Ohni finally earning the leader title Suoh promised him? I would adore to see Ohni thrive in the role by opening up more to everyone & creating a new era where he reforms the mayor rules that have been there for 94 years & relaxes them.

• Rochalizo unveils what he started saying & tries to leave in the midst of battle but perhaps he meets his bros at sea & they have a conversation about whether he comes home or not & perhaps someone from the Mud Whale calms his insecurities & convince him to stay

• Lykos forgives his brother… Please?? Can I get sibling bonding time??

• Shuan’s brainwashing is undone (hopefully..) & Ohni & him get to share a hug

• Suoh needs a fucking break but I assume we’re not gonna get that. At least for this fight pls keep him safe from harm but tbh I’m not opposed to some good angst where he almost loses/loses someone dear

• The Mud Whale people will need another thorough discussion with the Emperor to dismantle his plans of creating a new kind of life form

• Atsali attempts to slaughter the Emperor & sides with the Mud Whale

• Sarigari coming back from the dead? (rule n1: you don’t see the corpse they can’t be written off as dead but not that I want him back)

This a big joke analysis, don’t take me seriously, I’m kidding x)

Love how the bros’ seats tell much about their roles in the family. Antikeiras is gentle but not afraid to take up space & there are more serious layers under his soft side. Deiktis acts boastful and dignified. Paramesos wants to be seen as taller & older than he is. Rochalizo has no seat.
