Au Concept time!

25 yrs later Dark Mobius storyline except in addition to becoming the hero of Mobius when Sonic mysteriously disappears, Shadow also ends up forming a sort of rivalry with Scourge, who continuously antagonizes him and tries to take over Mobius as well. However, instead of Sally marrying Shadow to "fix him", Shadow gains more influence and following than any royalty on the planet, Scourge extends the "twin Kings of our worlds" offer to Shadow, and Shadow and Scourge develop a truce between their universes by getting married.

The former King Sonic returns to "his timeline" to find himself as a barely remembered figure, and to find monuments of King Scourge and King Shadow.

Prison Breakers AU WIP fic (?)

COME GET YALLS SHIT. I hope yall enjoy what ive got here, i'll be exploring and explaining the full custom lore I've got going alongside some of the crazy ideas ive got for these bastards. It's written in a way that's meant to allow folks who've never read the original comics fully to know what's happening, since it's different enough and such. Please remember that this IS a Zonourge fic, it's just. Kinda a slow burn and planned pining and shit. Standard "oh i totally dont care about him i just did this because it was practical!" from Scourge before he has a breakdown over some events. The usual. It features one of my fav headcanons which is that while severely emotionally repressed, Scourge cries way easier and way harder than Sonic. Like, gross-cries, because if he mirrors him then I think that'd make sense.

So yeah. Also be aware that there's like, one part that's a bit darker in implications than the rest, even with the whole thing having like. torture and abuse having happened. just highlight the black blocked text and you can read it if you'd like to.

Also since Zonic has like. No proper lore my Zonic here has a whole story and planned powers and shit, be on the lookout for that if it interests you!

some rough little ref doodles of amalgam versions of cassia and clove, because i’ve been thinking about them a lot lately.

in amalgam, cassia and clove are secret riftclaws taking the forms of mobian pronghorns; their mother was a painted-rocks riftclaw, and their father a pronghorn. they were 7 and 1 when their mother died and their father vanished, and they were raised by the people of their village in his absence.

because both their parents are gone, they have no links to the clan-- they don’t really know what they are, and just have some half-remembered stories and assumptions. both are very good at jumping from place to place using warp ring powers, but no idea that they’re utilising the extra sense riftclaws have for clawing through the fabric of reality to do it. they don’t even know how to use their claws properly.

both have the degenerative nerve disease all painted-rocks riftclaws have, but cassia’s case is very severe-- not only is she subject to random bouts of paralyis, but it can affect anything from her limbs to her respiratory system. clove works as a mercenary to afford the black market drug that’s keeping her alive-- because the chaos-powered tech used in mobian hospitals makes the condition worse.

with the clan moving to another world past earth and mobius merging into one planet, cassia and clove are now two of only four riftclaws in amalgam, and they have no idea that the other two even exist.

Hours later, how Knuckles and Julie-Su appear in my old au.

Prior to everything going Desperately Wrong, Julie-Su joined up with the Chaotix after breaking away from the cult she grew up in, the Legion of the Dark Machines, often just referred to as the Dark Legion... a group of echidnas who felt that Robotnik's methods were the true future of their people. Since she was only a child when Robotnik's coup began - about the same age as Sally and Elias, it took witnessing the fight coming to the Floating Island for her to finally reach out to someone to work to break free. She was sixteen when she finally got out.

At this point, she allied herself with Knuckles and the Chaotix, seeking to not only end the Legion's iron grip on many echidnas, but also to help fight the war against the one that had put them in that position to begin with.

Unlike Bunnie, Julie isn't partially roboticized. Her leftmost dred was replaced with a mechanized version when she was fourteen, and her left arm is a prosthesis built by Rotor after she lost it in the final fight, the same battle that cost Knuckles his right eye, and cost them both Ray and Espio.

They haven't been able to help as much with the fight on the ground anymore, with the Legion growing more powerful after allying with their "prophet," and Knuckles' work as the guardian of the Master Emerald has become far more difficult.

I saw on Twitter a while ago of people showing off their design for Sally Acorn. I never actually watched the Satam show or read the Archie comics, so I never got exposed to her glory.

I watched Lowart's videos on the Archie comics though, and from what I've seen there, she's a cool character! I would read the archie comics if it wasn't filled with weird teen romance drama and love. I dunno, it's just not my cup of tea. (yes, I don't like kissing, I'm 19 years alive and I still get weirded out to kissing scenes... I really am a loser) Which is a bummer since she seems so cool, but she's like in the heart of all the romance drama it seems.

I may get eaten alive for this, or people may love it. Either way, I present to you all: doodles of concepts for an Archie AU I'm working on called Prison Breakers (for now).

For context, it's basically me being fucking desperate to make Zourgic (Zonourge????) fic stuff but i hardly know shit about Zonic so I decided to give him a completely different story and shit, then got super attached to him.

post-breakout Scourge, who ends up wearing a sweater for a while after taking refuge in Sonic's world because it's FUCKING WINTER AND COLD AS SHIT. Also he's been fully covered for a while and doesn't feel safe enough going with his usual attire yet. Dude's been through some shit.

I used no references for this design I only know he has a sickass helmet thing so I winged it and feel I made him look pretty cool. I gave him custom armor because I gave this armor proper lore.

Once the prison situation gets handled, Zonic is gonna get Scourge a custom helmet because they're gonna end up traveling the multiverse and shit and finally living their lives, a new start for the both of them. Since he doesn't have his shades anymore he's got a cool red tint to the visor.

Sketch based on that one super fucked up panel where he's being shaved. That image fucks with me man....

This is where the custom angst lore comes in with Zonic. Inspired by a piece of art on Deviantart I stumbled across the other night about how he doesn't have backspines and they HC him to have scars in place of them, in the story he has them get ripped out before being made into a prison guard. It's a whole situation, and there's even more to it that gets super sad and fucked up related to his armor.

finally, since i did custom Zone lore here due to struggling to follow the proper Archie canon, I replaced the No Zone logic with Zonic being able to literally control his own gravity via Chaos Energy (he requires one Emerald to do it to himself, the more Emeralds in his possession the stronger the powers are and he can use it to affect objects and people besides himself too. Because I think walking on walls and ceilings like nobody's business is both super cool and funny as fuck.

So yeah. I've been doodling them so much because goddamn it I've gotten SO attached to this storyline jesus fucking christ.
