so... i got three baby objects a few days ago, a cupboard, armoire and a file cabinet, from some sort of a shelter. They're less than a month old. And also, they're kinda... scared of me. How do i like... form a bond with them? Make them less scared?

that is WAY too young for them to be adopted out. what shelter was this??? you should report it to the proper authorities, there is literally no excuse for that. even if they were orphaned they should have been kept for MONTHS longer than that.

large cabinet-type objects like this tend to do best in pairs with smaller objects, but they'll bond with you over time. i assume you understand the responsibility you're taking on by raising these? cabinet-type objects like this require a lot of food, space and especially emotional commitment.

so uh. This is about the baby armoire, cupboard and file cabinet. They've started to get more comfortable around me, especially when i'm wearing something periwinkle?? They just. Snuggle againist me, like i'm their mother. Is this normal? Does the color periwinkle remind them of their parent(s)?

considering they were in a shelter at such a young age, they're probably doing it not because they think you're their parent, but because it reminds them of being with their parents. it's possible their parents were that color or someone in the shelter they were in who cared for them frequently wore periwinkle clothing

sorry for repeatedly bringing up how strange it is that they were adopted out so young but i HIGHLY recommend getting an appointment with an object specialist to evaluate them for possible abuse or neglect. even if they were orphaned they need to be fostered for at least six months before going to their forever homes
