How loving this nakshatra feels: Uttara Bhadrapada
Okay, so loving someone with Uttara Bhadrapada is like walking into a quiet, hidden garden at dusk—where everything feels calm but full of secrets. They don’t shout their feelings; it’s all lowkey but real deep, like you can feel it even in the silence. When they choose you, it’s not some surface-level thing—it’s like they’re connecting to your soul, not just your face. They have this way of understanding the stuff you don’t say out loud, the things you keep locked inside. It’s mysterious, kind of magical, and honestly, it pulls you in without them even trying. Being with them means feeling something real, something that lasts beyond the moment. They love quietly but fiercely, and when they let go, it’s because the love was that big—it wasn’t just about holding on, but knowing when to set free. Not always easy to keep up with, but when you get it, it’s the kind of love that changes you.

Thank you everyone for playing. I’m closing the full moon asks now. I think the only rising sign we didn’t get was Pisces. If my recent photos are any indication. I didn’t expect to have so many people writing in and I spent all day doing this but it was a lot of fun and I hope you guys learned something about it and got a little bit more astroknowledge. I hope you all are doing well with the full moon today and we will go back to our regularly scheduled interesting esoteric conversations tomorrow. Thank you all for participating.

"The windows of a spaceship casually frame miracles. Every 92 minutes, another sunrise: a layer cake that starts with orange, then a thick wedge of blue, then the richest, darkest icing decorated with stars. The secret patterns of our planet are revealed: mountains bump up rudely from orderly planes, forests are green gashes edged with snow, rivers glint in the sunlight, twisting and turning like silvery worms. Continent splay themselves out whole, surrounded by islands sprinkled across the sea like delicate shards of shattered egg shells."
Book: An Astronaut's Guide to Life on Earth by Colonel Chris Hadfield
Genre: Non-Fiction
Synopsis: 3rd pic.
TL;DR: Space is cool, but getting there is hard work; also, turns out a lot of things applicable to becoming an astronaut are also applicable to living life on this planet.

Ever read a book that left you feeling like, "What the eff am I doing with my existence?" Well, if you need to light a fire under your bum, this one may be for you; Hadfield embodies an inspiring enthusiasm that makes you want to pursue your passion.
A charming & affable narrator, Hadfield offers a philosophy for living in this autobiography detailing his own experiences as a human & astronaut, on Earth & in space. There's so much information packed into this book, & though I felt like I learned A LOT regarding space flight, I know my knowledge doesn't even skim the surface 😂. Regardless, Hadfield makes you feel astroknowledgeable by establishing an open rapport via anecdotes & "insider info". 😎 His approach of turning conventional wisdom on its head, encouraging you to: sweat the small stuff, engage with negative thinking, care what others think, & aim to be a zero, provides a refreshing, albeit counterintuitive, take on how to create your own version of success & happiness.
Essentially, his personal philisophy boils down to a lot of P's (stop giggling):
1. Purpose: get you one. If you're passionate about something, you're more likely to make it happen, & it helps to have some direction/guidance.
2. Prepare, practice, problem-solve, & plan...often!!! All of these bolster confidence & competence, which enable you to remain calm when things go awry.
3. Pull your weight, & be polite! People matter in the human equation; when we help propel others to be their best, we all benefit!
Though UNIVERSal in its reach, I feel this book would be especially beneficial for people in a professional capacity where cultivating leadership skills, working in teams, & navigating ego(s) is paramount to success.
This was informative on so many fronts; I highly recommend for anyone interested in the process of getting to space or just as an alternative perspective on how to achieve their own lift off.
Sorta related: Want to see some cool space images? Check out the work of Hadfield's buddy Don(ald) Pettit.
